Worth reading!

I absolutely loved this book!! I enjoyed the first book Lick a lot. But I couldn't put Play down. Mal had me falling in love with him, crying for him and laughing at him!! Such a great character and Anne was a great female character also.

This the 1st book I read of Kylie Scott.

I cannot say enough about this book and all the books in this series. The book has the right about of love,lust, and laughter. First time reading anything by this author and I cannot wait to read more from her. This book kept me up well into the late night hours smitten and laughing.

Mal is my favorite. Loved Mal in Lick but he became my favorite in this one. It was wonderful to see the many wonderful sides to this character. This is a book I will read over and over again

I loved the first book "Lick" and fell in love the character Mal since that book. There was some very funny dialogue and the love story was good one, although not as good as the first .

This book worked for me on every level. It was fun to read, yet had a few heartbreaking moments, as well as tender ones. I loved the main characters, Mal and Anne. It was also great to see David and Ev again, as well as the other band members. The story was great, and I am looking forward to reading the next installment very soon.

Anne hasn't had an easy life, and when her roommate absconds after leaning on Anne financially for a few months, it gets even harder. When Anne goes to a party with her neighbors and meets Stage Dive drummer, Mal, she suddenly has a new roommate and a pretend boyfriend. Mal needs to appear that he has a nice girlfriend, and he convinces Anne to let him move in with her so that she can afford to stay in her apartment. What starts as a fake relationship very soon turns real. Anne and Mal have to decide if they can open up and trust one another enough to make a real relationship work between them.

This was a wonderful story. Anne and Mal had smoking chemistry between them, and I loved watching them get to know one another. I liked their conversations and the way they interacted together. There was an ease and understanding between them that I found very touching. This is one I highly recommend, along with the first book in the series, Lick.

Omg loved this couple! Mal and Anne Aka pumpkin are such fun loving characters. U just can't help but love them and their story.

Loved this book from beginning to end. Absolutely hilarious! The banter between the characters was perfect. Can't wait to start the next in the series :)

Great second book! I love the characters, I love the plot, I love the scenes. I love everything about this book! Both Anne and Mal are great characters and I enjoyed every moment reading this. The dialog was funny and entertaining, the love scenes were steamy and fun. Fantastic book! I will read this over and over, no doubt about that.

I've been hooked from the very first story. I love that the author makes each book with a different character from the band as well as adds stories from the old characters in. Definitely a GOOD read... I couldn't put my iPad down due to it!

Mal was HILARIOUS! I couldnt stop laughing and honestly could put it down. Worth the read… funny, steamy, sexy… a must read. Kylie Scott is brilliant.

Too many times the story line doesn't flow, completely implausible or just plan sex with a story line thrown in to justify the Romance designation.

Read this series, only two come to mind as this good. I even preordered. First time I ever did that!

I have already read both Lick and Play three times each. It's refreshing to read books that make you genuinely happy. I can't wait for the next two to come out.

The characters and dialogue are hilarious and endearing. The story has a great mix of fun, sex and sadness. A real page turner.

This series has a lot of profanity so if that bothers you it might be a turn off. As for me, I think it added a layer of realism because I'm sure that rock stars curse.

I laughed out loud and got all misty eyed as well. Love all the books in this series so far.

The story was not that great. The romance might have appealed to me if I was going through a serious douche bag phase of life, but I'm not. However, the sexy parts were sexy.

Fun read!! I liked the continuation of the characters. Looking forward to the next installment.

I've read over 60 romance books and this is by far my favorite. It made me laugh all the time and I love the characters. The way it's written is amazing and I just love it.

Kylie Scott is officially my new fav writer. She captures the humor, the love, heart break, and erotic romance in every word she writes. Lick was the first of 3 and I cannot wait till Lead comes out in the summer! She has captured the heart of my other favorite band member of Syage Dive to a tee! There was lots of humor in Lick, and a lot came from Mal...so I was pleased that book 2 was about him, and his quick as hell relationship with Anne! I wish I knew a Mal cause he is awesome! the book has all the afore mentioned aspects and captures a little behind the scenes, and off the rock stage lives of the band, and I really loved the story! readers of Olivia cunning, Ava Lore, and Terri Anne Browning (my other rock writers) will surely enjoy this story. I laughed really friggin hard throughout and got a little sweaty during the love making, and making out! You'll love it, I promise ya! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and add this many 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 hotness rating too! 😃

I liked the humor in the story. If it had not been for the humor I probable would not have liked it as much. I get tired of reading stories about guys who get drunk, have sex with random girls, and hang out with the guys more appealing than being a decent human being. I'm tired of reading how guys feel trapped by being with one girl and feel like marriage and kids is a prison. When are men going to feel the same completeness women feel when they find a person that they want to spend the rest of their lives with. I thought it was funny how he moved in with her and started kissing her like she was his. I guess the lesson here is that guys will only want commitment when they are ready and not when a woman wants them to be ready. Proven fact you cannot make someone do anything they are not ready to do. People change when they want to change. So girls hold out until the guy comes knocking down your door.

I wish this was the first book.. Having experienced the high of Lick (which I have reread for about 4 times already!) this is kind of just not "there" yet.. It's a good story but I cannot not compare them.. Still love the series..! :*

Fresh off the book Lick I pre-ordered Play... I'm going to have to say Lick was much better however Play is not too far behind. I tend to not like to not read the hero's point of view but considering Mal's 'out there' personality I can figure it probably would have been too hard on us readers. Either way I think Anne could have been stronger .. She was a bit annoying .. Don't get me wrong I don't like when the heroines are made out to be 'I'm going to control my feelings so I won't be hurt' nonsense but Anne could have been written better in that she wasn't a slave to her feelings.. Made her almost wimpy. Anyway it's worth the buy but be warned it'll be a bumpy ride...

I enjoyed every word & the plot was so sweet & powerful at times that reminds you of a situation from real life.

This book had me captivated from the very beggining... Man mal, mal, mal, mal!! What a man!! Loved his sense of humor... Had me laughing throughout the whole book!! Definitely book boyfriend material!!!

I have not even finished this book and I can not stop smiling. Absolutely love it so far and have no doubt it will be one of my favorites!!! If you feel in love with Lick you will love Play even more.
