I’ve been listening to this all day while I was working, I’m a truck driver and this is definitely something I kept my mind off of what I was doing. I can’t wait to talk to me the other ones, it’s chilling, thrilling, and suspenseful. This is my type of reading, and I definitely give this read a thumbs up.

Now I have to buy the following episode to find out what happens next. Somewhat slow in the beginning finally began to move along with a unique storyline.

This is a short story with a little bit of suspense but definitely not something that would be worth too much expense.

This book kept me reading until the end! Very good and had to see what happens next. Unfortunately, it was the first book of the series and only 100 pages long. Of course, I had to order the next book and probably all of the series now! Very good!

Ted Decker is always edgy, but this book is not his best. It simply doesn’t go anywhere and from what I’ve learned about the rest of the story (which I haven’t read) I’m not interested in going where he goes. But, to each his own.

Short story that compels you to keep reading. Going to check out the full novel as I don’t want to stop in any part of it. Very good story.

I really wish people would stop rating a book by what it cost!!! It messes with the review ratings. If you don't like the price of a book, fine you can put it in the comments in your review but don't rate it based on your problems with the cost of the book!!!

What a bummer that you have to pay for four books. Started out great but not worth that kind of money.

So in my desperate need for suspense I started reading this book. The first part is really good, the second suspenseful, but the third and fourth? What happened? If you don't want to waste $9 just avoid all together.

Very good pilot. Kept me reading once i got through the first pages. The different plots keep you interested and wanting more. Ted Dekket is just a great writer. About to finish the series.

This story has potential but what is missing is inertia. It just plods along when it could be and needs to be compelling. Not every writer is endowed with the intuitive gift for suspense. Stephen King has it in truckloads. This writer is close but just lacks that magic.

This is the worst boom I've read in 50 years!

Not quite what I am used to, but it was very interesting. Don't like the fact that the "stories" are so short, but hey, everyone has their likes and dislikes.

Great start to the series by Ted Dekker. The themes of this book really hit home for me and like all of Dekker's books it really makes me think about where my identity comes from. Do I get my identity from my appearance, my parents, how smart I might be? How does our identity affect us and if it is removed our changed what becomes of us? Great mind twister. I recommend this series and all books written by Dekker.

I haven't ever liked reading but I've been so bored this Summer that I decided to download a few iBooks and this was one. I don't read the intro or the back summary of the book. I just look at the cover. I know you aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover but I kind of have to. If a book that can keep me locked in when I literally know nothing about the story line then it's a great book worth finishing. First book I choose to read threw me for a complete loop (started good but then I was like, "Uhm, wow, no.") so I moved to this one and I LOVED THIS BOOK!! I'm so disappointed that you have to pay to read books 2-4. I'm hoping they have them at the library!!

Ted Dekker is by far my favorite author for many reasons but this... This book he has really outdone himself with. I couldn't put it down!. Finished it within an hour.

Now I have to wait until I get paid to buy Mirrors!!

This is an amazing book. I love his books because they make you think and they are so action packed. I just finished Identity and I must keep going. I would recommend this book to anyone. This is my favorite author, be sure to check him out.

For a short read its a gripping story. I'm not usually fond of these kinds of stories though this one I could not stop reading. If you Really pay attention then the end will through you for a loop while making you think about what you just read. Great introduction to the trilogy

Interesting read but too short. If you want to read the whole story consisting of 4 short books its $10. I buy free books for the exact reason that it's free, not to get roped in to having to pay a bunch more to finish it.

Ted Dekker has done an amazing job of introducing you to his characters. Immediately you can’t help but to root for them. Getting locked in a mental institution is everyone’s worst nightmare.

From the cover art to the crazy descriptions “My heart sounds like a monster with clobber feet, running straight towards me” this is an amazing start to what looks like a promising book.

Identity is the 1st of 4 novella’s making up the book “Eyes Wide Open” While Novella’s are not for everyone these are priced to be equivalent to the cost of a book. Identity was free while Mirrors, Unseen and Seer are $2.99 each. However the entire book could be purchase at one time as opposed to the smaller novellas if preferable.

This is a very short book to entice further purchases. Wonderful writing. Sad I have to pay for an ending.

Ted Dekker does it again! He captures your attention from the first page, and weaves a story of characters with depth and emotion. I am a huge fan of his books, and this latest series of episodes doesn't disappoint. Thanks Ted for another adventure!

Well written, captivating in a suspenseful way but too short.

I didn't think I would like this first book when I started reading it. I was quite surprised. It left me wanting more in the series....BUT....at 2.99 a pop I seriously doubt I will finish it. What a let down. Very disappointing! I'm not going to pay three dollars for every eighty pages, that's ridiculous!

First book was good, and I was looking forward to the second. It's was okay. The third and forth books in the series were sooooo disappointing. I kept hoping they would get better. Unfortunately, never happened. There is NO reason to break this story up into four separate books.

I couldn't put this book down! It is very very good! I'm broke so I have to wait for a iTunes card to come my way😕 It is a very good book and I would recommend it to people! 💚

Thoroughly impressed with this book. It was a quick read and suspenseful! Well written and I could "feel" the characters quandary with each turn of the page. The cliff hanger ending left me wanting more!
