This story is hard to rate. I liked all the characters. I was really upset with Jace for not giving Tessa a choice but I'm sure there's more to it than that. I can't stand Shelby! Ugh! The story was full of suspense and kept making me want more. No dull moments. However, while the ending wasn't really a cliff hanger, I REALLY didn't like that it seems more like "part 1" of the story. If questions are answered in the second book I will be very happy. This really was a good story and a fast read. I had the audiobook I listened to while in the car and the ebook I would read when at home.
