The story of a small and frightened Jaybird. 133 pages filled with suspense and accompanied by a dynamic soundtrack.
Little Jaybird lives in a very large house alone with his bedridden mother. Portraits of dignified ancestors look down upon him from dusty walls. At times also a curious spider peeks from between the cobwebs. Even though it's safe inside the house, with its doors barred and windows boarded up, reality can't be shut outside forever.
This is one of the most intriguing, uncategorizable, expertly-executed piece of comic art that I've read in quite some time.

Glad I didn't buy full price
The story was dark but with the soundtrack it's 10 times more disturbing. The artwork was fantastic as much as the setting and plot but the ending could had been better, a Happily Ever After though it is a horror story after all

Gorgeous
This is a beautifully illustrated book, and while it is sparse on dialogue it is stuffed full of story. Loved it.

Amazing
I downloaded the sample and was not disappointed with the purchase. Very emotional and lovable storyline and the music fit well. Please do a sequel, I would love to see what happens after.

Awesome
I remember the thread for this on Something Awful a while back. I always wanted to see how this ended and now I can. Amazing awry and a great story zombie to create Jaybird.

This story about a fearful little jaybird is by turns adorable, thought-provoking, and disturbing. The artwork is absolutely gorgeous as well, and the music incorporated into it really adds to the overall mood, so for $3.99, it's a steal. One thing is for certain: it will stick in your mind long after you've put it down.
