I normally don't write long reviews, but I thought I would give it a shot.

I loved this book: I would read it again and again if I could! I'm so glad that our school made Legend a required book for the summer this year.

Reading this book I found myself staying up extremely late, trying to keep myself up for one more chapter. But if you're a night reader like me I recommend the Audiobook😉

Prodigy is amazing! June and Day agree to help the Patriots assassinate the new elector, Anden, but June starts having second thoughts. This book goes deeper into the revolution and reveals the secrets about the Patriot leader, Razor, also known as Commander De Soto. This book is a must read!

OMG... Kept me wanting more! Twists and Turns and Tears but Amazing!!

I just finished this book, and am surrounded by a puddle of tears. I enjoyed the first part of the book a lot. The middle of the book was okay, but Day and June just spent so much time apart. Their reunion is shaky, but then they are okay. Then at the end of the book Day is diagnosed with something medical where he only has a little while to live and doesn't tell June. He tells June to take a job offer where she will never get to see him even though she doesn't want to. At the end of the book they have one last goodbye kiss and it is SO sad.

I could not put the book down. The author makes June and Day so relatable that you just are cheering for things to finally come together for them.

The ending is so sad! I dont even know if I want to read Champion now... Dont worry they dont die, its just I love them being together and this just ughhhh! Marie Lu, we dont want heartbreak we want love and entertainment! But other than all of this, I thought the book was wonderfully written and I enjoyed ever minute of it (except the ending of course). Luv u marie!

I love legend. i read it so many times I know i will love Prodigy

It had me on the edge of my seat the whole book! It was different, fun, funny, intense, awesome, romantic, and action-packed! You get to see more of the characters and different places! Both June and Day made me mad a little. I didn't like Tess in this book at all! June and Day were so cute! I cried a lot. It was captivating! Like the first, it had a little mystery to it! The ending was a brilliant cliffhanger!! I loved it!

I'm always skeptical about a sequel let alone a trilogy, however this follow-up to Legend has far surpassed expectations. The content of the story-line has deepened and enriched the whole message the author started in the 1st story. There is even more suspense and plot twists along with a more compelling connection to the main characters. This is simply a must read, can't wait for the final installment. Cincy Kid 68.

This book is so action packed and I enjoyed it a lot! The end had me bawling my eyes out and punching pillows, but it was an extremely well written book

If you have read the first book this book is fantastic. There is as much acton in this book as the previous book legend. I continue to love this series

I love this book but as I was getting to the good part I thought Tess was really jealous of June and a lot of people were mean to Day. Beware SPOILER- In the last chapter of Day I learned he was dying and in the last chapter of June he tells her to go with the elector's offer. So I can't wait to read Champion the third book to Legend.

This was an amazing sequel. I am new to the world of loving to read. I never enjoyed reading until the Harry Potter series of books. Now, I search for more and more things to read. My wonderful son recommended this series to me and even brought the first book home from his school library. Props to Winburn Middle School for having a wide selection. I look forward to getting the next book in the series tomorrow and see where the adventure, romance and conflict take the characters.

The two books together are a satisfying series. The two main characters are ones you want to continue reading about. The world created by the author is both interesting and unsettling. What a great after-world setting to continue writing in.

It's a perfect sequel to a perfect first book! Can't wait for the third!

So I fell in love with legend. Best book ever. So different then the hunger games, and so much better (sorry). To me it felt like June and Day were the same people in separate worlds in the first book. And I was worried what Marie Lu would do with that. She totally flipped it and made them seem so opposite. It was amazing!!! Prodigy was so much better then the first book. The ending was a shocker!!! And I'm really scared about how it's gonna turn out. I didn't like Tess, she was annoying. Everything was so great. It's hard to explain. just read it

The 2nd book was better than the 1st book. The author improved on her writing with an intricate plot, descriptive scenery, and push-pull relationship with Day and June. Some of the love triangles felt forced for the sake of adding dimension to the book. The ending with Day was a shocker. Not sure how Lu will write her way out of that one. It was a fast paced book filled with action, romance, and suspense.

Awesome series! Full of romance, action, betrayal and broken hearts. Surprise ending! Bravo Ms. Lu

I can't believe she ended like that it caught me completely by surprise. But I love the way the author wrote it and couldn't ask for a better sequel. I think this book, along with the first one, is a classic.

Seems way too close to the hunger games & walking that fine line

You know the author has outdone herself when the sequel is even better than the first book. This is the case with "Prodigy". As someone who usually gets bored easily, I find myself struggling to get through books. However, I devoured this book in just two days, in spite of my busy schedule. The characters have a level of depth that is atypical of most teen novels, and the action was narrated with such vivid imagery, it felt as if I was there watching it all unfold. The suspense at the end of every chapter left me reading well into the early morning, losing sleep, unable to tear my eyes away from the pages. I felt myself rooting for so many characters in this book, connecting with each and every one of them, almost wishing to be a part of their world. The best part was the ending, though, as not only did it move me to tears, but it left me aching for more of the story. I eagerly await Ms. Lu's next novel in this series.

I just finished the first book and loved it. I honestly can't wait for this one. I'm soooo excited!

I have read the first hundred pages and so far it is so good and hard to put down.

I personally can not wait. But I have read better than legend, and don't have big expectations.

I have absolutely loved the first book Legend. And although I kind of figured out who actually killed Metias before it was shown, I want to know what happened to him too, which I hope to find out in Prodigy (yeah right, as if I would spoil that!). I also want to find out what happened to June and Day, who I just love together. Will they assasinate the new elector or will they continue on with the patriots? Lastly, I hope Tess is alright, becaus I have a feeling she has something inportant to this story. I have a feeling Prodigy is going to be as great as Legend. Also, for those of you who haven't read Legend, I strongly recommend it. It is the best dystopian book ever. Five star all the way! I cannot wait and am just counting down the days until it comes out.
