What a nice surprise
Starts out a little bit underwhelming but quickly enough became a real page-turner for me. Better than most of the books I’ve read in the past few years.

Dime a dozen
Every person with conservative values is implicitly racist according to this author. That narrative is not only completely untrue but tiresome. Book was like every other action/mystery written by a community college lit C student.

My 2nd time reading LOCKDOWN and I still love it!
Certain books become a reader’s friends, and this is one of mine. My “bookfriends” contain real, down-to -earth human characters, humor enough to keep me grinning and action that is unexpected, and consistent with reality but just stretching the limit of believability. This author’s books meet all my requirements and more. Lots of research goes into his writing, and he can literally transport a reader to another world with his plots, subplots, side plots and detail.
