Easy read. Great pep talk. I'll re-read it!

With full respect to Mark Cuban's accomplishments, this book is terribly written, incoherent, full of self-indulgent useless non-sequitors, generic truisms and self-evident advice. Next to no valuable insights at all in this book other than quotations from other people. Honestly just staggeringly bad and a complete waste of money

Mark Cuban is dead on with his vast amount of personal experiences that manifested into lucrative businesses. There's no lying or bullshitting with Cuban, he shoots straight from the hip! Great read, and in May I will have achieved my MSA -Masters Sports Administration lol Irony huh? ...

This book reads as if you were kicking it on the couch with your best friend that

just came back in town to share all the Jems from the a Blackbeard’s treasure.

You can sence the energy and enthusiasm throughout his narrative. Valuable Information

coming from a hard working person like Mark is a great ROI (return on investment).

Smart. Concise. Humorous. Useful. Easy reading.

Fast and fun. Finished it in 3 hours in one sitting while watching animals hunt, on 'Planet Earth: Life'. I found it to be just as humorous as it was informative. The education was well worth the expense.

I purchased this book 1.5 hr ago and I just finished reading it. I could not put it down! Anyone looking for motivation and/ or anyone in business must read it. Best $5 bucks ever spent.

Written completely from Mark Cuban's thoughts and take on business. Very down to earth feel when reading it and many can relate. Very inspirational and gets you motivated to start your own business. Overall great read. Highly recommended.

Awesome read, enlightening and entertaining. I don't read often or as often as I should but once I started I didn't put it down, I probably used a solid 2 hours just rereading and annotating. Can't wait for the Big Read!

Amazing

Overall the book is extremely interesting. Mark Cuban talks about his failures in life and how these failures has led him to succeed in life and in business. Simple and easy to understand but it needs more technical explanations about his success business ventures.

Loved learning about Cuban. I am very much like him looking for anything I can get my hands on to help future business endeavors. Read the book front to back on the plane which was nice. Short and Sweet book that makes you think about the business world and allows you to learning from some of Cubans successes and failures.

Good reading

Great book. No balls no babies. I have read this book twice and get something out of each time.

I'm a fifteen year old boy who was just interested in who is Mark. I follow the NBA a lot so I had to know who he was. Anyway I fell in love with the book. It has all the things a high school student or collage student need for the future. Mark is an amazing guy that I'll love to meet some day and do business with him.

Good but not his best

...in a good way. Mark gives a solid background history of his life's ups and downs, clearly making a case for keeping it real to stay the course. No balls, no babies!

I loved reading Cuban's book. Very affirmative and great reminder of what's important. It did have some grammatical mistakes, which were annoying.

"How to Win at the Sport of Business" is a down to earth, straight to the point insight on ways to win in life and business. Mark outlines rules he has set for himself over the years and explains them quite well.. Whether your in school, wanting to start a business, already in business or even looking for a new career, this is worth reading..

This book is so easy to read and very motivating. I got really sad when I got to the last page. I wanted to keep reading!!!!!! Write another one Mark, this time longer and include more details about your life!!!

Everything in this book was very inspiring. It takes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days of hardwork to make a change. We are often caught whining about how we are poor, hope one day we become rich, and hope to have all these things in life, but the fact to the matter is people never do get up and make a change. My overall view after reading this book is, it taught me how to kick myself past my limits, no matter how many times I fail in life it only takes once to get it right. Short and to the point!

This is the second time I read this book. I recommend it 200%. It is very straightforward, very down to earth. It can be use for Business owners or corporate America employees like me. Mark talks about love what you do, get knowledge, prepare, move on....That's what it's all about, and be the best of the best no matter what you do.

I downloaded this book about a week ago and just finished it. It an awesome book to get you pumped up to tackle the world, persay. It’s geared towards business minded individuals. I wouldn’t say it’s just for sales people. It provides a lot of good insite on things grinders (people who work hard) already know, but put in a way that touches your psyche. It’s straight to the point and I think thats what makes it a smooth book. Lastly, he talks about things many of us can relate to as we strive to be the best we possibly can in whatever it is we do. Check it out. It comes highly recommended.

So I read this book in one night. I am very inspired by Mark Cuban being a sports fan but learning about what he has done made me want to learn more about business. I am graduating soon and have a dream of being an entrepreneur, which this book does an excellent job at inspiring and motivating one to follow their dream. One of the best things that could happen to the NBA was when Mark Cuban became an owner of a NBA team. This ePub gives a very interesting glimpse into the brain behind the Mark. Good stuff.

This is an easy, poignant manual on what Mark sees as rules for the road to personal success.

I read the whole thing in just a couple of hours and I'm glad I did. Even though I am already considered a success by others, I will use these rules to continue to strive towards further future achievements.

This was much better than I expected. If you're in any type of competitive environment you will love it.

This the first book that I actually read from cover to cover and also the first e-book I purchase. It's straight to the point and it only took me about 3 hours to read. The tips, suggestions, and experiences that Mark shares are all beneficial for anyone that wants to start a business or for quick motivation. He succeeds in the message he is trying to deliver and more. I will also buy the hard copy and share with my friends.

This is probably one of the best books I have written. I love that it's not filled with hypothetical business principles and examples. Mark gives real world examples and practical things you can do to help start or grow your business. Loved the book...pumped to get to work now!

I think Mark's go-for-it grab the brass ring attitude will help aspiring entrepreneurs build our self-confidence. Think about people who tell you you can't do something. It's fun proving them wrong.

I just read this short summary of Mr. Cubans inspiring and eventful life thus far in about 2 hours. What I loved the most was the list of painfully true analogies that Mark explained so thoroughly throughout each chapter. What I did not enjoy was the lack of detail (especially in the beginning of the summary.) I would LOVE to read a book based on marks first three business ventures and how he started them in chronological detail. Did this e-book inspire me? Yes, very much so, and it also left me wanting to know more. This was more of a lessons manual (which I'm sure was what Mark was aiming at) not a life story. I do hope that more detailed work comes from this man's mind within the next 5 or so years. Being a struggling BBA major that is a current junior in college I can most certainly relate to a lot of this man's inspiring journey, which intern inspires the people in this world much like myself.

I work in the professional sports industry and just finished my MBA. I wish I had read this book before the MBA... This was. Great and entertaining read! Just the right amount of humor, humility (scratch that no humility), great advice, and fantastic lessons. The lessons are broad enough to translate into any part of the business world. Cuban does a fantastic job sharing both his successes and failures and shows how it all has led to his success.

I read most of these as blog posts but great to revisit as a whole.

Highly recommend this book for any entrepreneur who aspires to make it. Great story, quick read. Possibly sums up all you need to really know about being great at business. Motivational read, and it's worth a lot more than the cover price. Buy it, live by it!

This was a good read for anyone in any business. I work in a non profit. I found the book motivating and simple to understand and many of the themes will apply to what I do. I enjoyed the chapter about loving what you do.

Cuban focuses on why bling is so important and how he bought the Mavs just to pick up chicks. I need way more bling in my life. Thanks Mark!!

Everyone can get SOMETHING from this book, lots of simple and practical advice to nudge you off the couch and go out and be successful!

This book is aimed more towards a current or future business owner and/or someone in sales. Mark shares his best business practices but only uses very general examples of how he used them to be sucessful. If you are expecting a detailed biography, this is NOT it. If you want to know the beliefs of a brilliant businessman, this book will be money well spent.
