Fan mail from a ghost...
I’ve been a huge fan of the Shivers series by M.D. Spenser since I first started reading the books in the 90s. The Ghost Writer is one of those first eleven books that I read, and it’s a great book for fans of ghost stories! The print book that I read has a different cover than this iBook edition while still featuring the recognizable Shivers logo, but that doesn’t make this cover anything to complain about. It actually looks pretty good! Again, the story is a great choice for ghost story fans! After a girl finds old letters written on fancy stationery in her attic, she begins to receive similar letters in the mail, causing her to realize that they are from a ghost, which plunges her into a frightening mystery. Suspenseful and eerie from beginning to end!
