I loved this book. Not only have I read it and the others 7 times, but it was really impacted with love, action, and fantasy. A really good mix and taste. I really liked how Hocking made Finn more like a "badboy" type, if you know what I mean. Sexy and everything. It was like watching a movie in my head every time I read these books. If only the movie was like how I pictured it. I saw the preview for the movie of it and it looked NOTHING like I saw it in my mind.

From the start it was exciting and interesting, I was able to really hook onto it about 15 pages into the book! Amanda Hocking is an extremely creative and astonishing author. Every experience in this series that Wendy has, as a reader you feel it yourself. If you like getting lost in a book that takes you to another world, this is the book and series for you! 10/10 would recommend! Also check out her other series similar to this one called the Kanin Chronicles... I can't wait to finish it!

This theme is recurrent in YA novels. I was disappointed in the occasional misuse of pronouns-poor editing? The story zips along, maybe too quickly. More build up should have happened between Wendy (MC) and the tracker before she disappears with him. And, considering her fiery temper, Wendy is way too easily cowed by her Queen mom! She doesn't ask enough questions or demand answers or accountability from anyone in her new kingdom. The mom has a lot of explaining to do, it would seem, before Wendy would agree to be put through the gauntlet. I'd give it 2 1/2 stars if I could. I may read the next book, or not.

Couldn't put this book down. Sensational from start to finish.

I'm not a huge YA fan, but this was actually pretty decent. The love story was pretty good, but honestly it was pretty frustrating. I just wanted to shake Wendy by the shoulders the whole time, but I suppose that just means she was a very well written teenager. I would recommend it, but I'm not going to be clamoring for the sequel. I'd mostly only read it to see what happens with Rhys, because he's my favorite character if the book.

Ever since I started reading this book I haven't been able to put it down. Can't wait to read the rest of the series!! Lol :)

The " Trylle Series " is simply amazing .. My favorite set of books yet . In the middle of the water song series , keep them coming Amanda :)

At first I wasn't sure how I was going to like this series since it was about "trolls" but it has been one of the better YA series I have read recently!

I have the paperback version of the book that a friend loaned me and I think it is fantastic! My friend read all books in a course of about three or four weeks, I recommend to pretend who like science fiction and magic books it definitely has me hooked!!!:)

If your looking for a great series, this is it! Not only does it feel like your involved in the story line, but it will make you feel like you will miss something if you put it down. This is one GREAT book!

Oh my god! I read the first book and got so cause I had to wait 4 the second one to come out and when I read the second one it was like I was in a trance it's soooooo amazing I think everyone should read it!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this book and I couldn't wait to read the next book until I found out that it turns into a love triangle story which I'm not really into. However I will still read the next book and finish reading the series with an open mind because I do like the way she writes.

At the beginning of the book, I definitely thought that it was the most favorable part in the book. The story leaves you in suspense each time. The last sentence in the book keeps you hungry for more!

The other two books of the trilogy were already released when I read them last year. The novels were in severe need of editing and had different covers, and at the time were only $2.99 each. They were entertaining books nonetheless though and I'd recommend them to fantasy/romance readers.
