Description
In SAVED (Book #1 of the Shadow Vampires), Keira and Amanda, twins, move with their family to a new town, and start their senior year at a new high school. But though they are twins, the girls have different fates. Amanda, beautiful, popular, is sought out by everyone. Keira, who has always lived in Amanda’s shadow, is smaller, awkward, different. Even her mother, who is so close to Amanda, doesn’t know what to make of her other daughter. Keira turns to books, and to her journal, for solace, and to find out about other worlds.
Amanda makes friends easily at the new school, and quickly finds a boyfriend, while Keira is left alone, an outsider. But very quickly, it is clear that something strange is going on in Everstock. The town and the school are very divided. The popular, rich kids act as if they own the school and have nothing to do with the other kids, who are poorer and live in a different part of town. Not only are the kids meaner here, but an unknown infection has gripped the town, with more and more people going to the hospital. Something here is terribly wrong.
But things change suddenly, as there is a terrible accident involving the twins. Not only are Keira and Amanda’s lives changed forever, but a new dimension of life begins to open to Keira.
As Keira recovers, she begins to change in ways she can’t expect, receiving new and mysterious powers that no one can possibly understand. At the same time, a gorgeous, mysterious new boy, Cooper, appears at the school, who grips her imagination, and who refuses to tell her what secret he is hiding.
As Keira and Cooper grow closer to each other, it soon becomes apparent that destiny has brought them together—and that they may each have to sacrifice it all if they want to stay together…

I mean it was good. I think the falling in love part was too soon but other than that. It was fantastic!!!!

Not bad
But it seemed line the author lost track of where they were a few times. There was one incident where they said Kiera had showered and put Amanda's dress on. Than it states she showered and puts on pants directly after but walks down to meet Ben in the dress?? Than after the make out session with Cooper, it states she wakes up clothed. However, when the shadow vamps starts circling them, it states she quickly dresses Or grabs her clothes. Something like that. I liked the story, but seems like the author lost they're place a few times. :/

Better then expected
I got the book not know what to expect I wasn't really expecting anything really I just kind of got it.
As I read it, it was ok then I into it and then I found myself really into it that I even was replacing Keira's name with mine.
This book is not the best thing ever it does need some help here and there, but I enjoyed it.
I read it in two nights and I'm dying to know more.

Good not great
It was a pretty good read. Kept my attention. Not much to do with vamps tho. And the ending was very rushed. Should have been prolonged with more drama and action.

Good story..bad book
I never thought I wouldn't like a book with romance in it but man did this book make my head hurt. This book was so poorly put together I'm surprised it was ever published. Things happened way too quickly...she didn't even find out about the main point of the book until the very end. The dialogue was horrible and lame and the author obviously forgot about the personalities of the characters when putting dialogue to them. Especially her dad, boy was he bipolar. I got half way through the book and honestly did not think I was gonna be able to finish it. And don't you think she would be at least a little surprised at the things she could do? Normally I can't wait to buy the next book in a series but I can guarantee I won't waste anymore time on this series. Oh, and not to repeat was everyone else is saying but this book has the most spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors than any other book I've read. I'm only 14 and I'm pretty sure I could right a better book. It's disappointing because it's a really good story line but it was written horribly.

Needs editing
The story was continually chopped up by misinformation. Specifically, toward the end the main characters spend the night together "fully clothed", but then a couple pages later it says either she, he, or both had to get up and get dressed. There were multiple places with similar problems. It read like a book that may have been written for adults, then later adjusted for a younger audience. Unfortunately, it wasn't edited well. *****Spoiler Alert*****
I liked the story going in, but I thought the premise that the vampires fed on cruelty although they still managed to leave bite marks in the necks of their victims was silly. My 4th grader might find it interesting though...

Amazing!
This book was great! It was a quick read, and there was a few punctuation and spelling errors, but the storyline was nice. I felt like I could relate to the main character very well and it was just over all a fabulous book. I can't wait for the second one!

Is this a joke?
This is a bad rip-off of Twilight. There is a reason this "book" only costs $.99. Saved is rife with spelling, grammar and punctuation errors. There are so many cliches, I honestly think this was written by a teenager. Nauseating.
