Description

BOOK 2 IN THE IRON DRUID CHRONICLES
------------------------------------------------
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, doesn’t care much for witches. Still, he’s about to make nice with the local coven by signing a mutually beneficial nonaggression treaty—when suddenly the witch population in modern-day Tempe, Arizona, quadruples overnight. And the new girls are not just bad, they’re badasses with a dark history on the German side of World War II.
With a fallen angel feasting on local high school students, a horde of Bacchants blowing in from Vegas with their special brand of deadly decadence, and a dangerously sexy Celtic goddess of fire vying for his attention, Atticus is having trouble scheduling the witch hunt. But aided by his magical sword, his neighbor’s rocket-propelled grenade launcher, and his vampire attorney, Atticus is ready to sweep the town and show the witchy women they picked the wrong Druid to hex.

Hexed

A masterfully created web of intrigue, interspersed with humor, lustful goddess and of course Oberon. An excellent read that I found most difficult to put down, even when it was after midnight and I had to be awake for the day at 7am. Well worth the price, I will be purchasing all the "iron Druid" series, for mine and my families reading enjoyment.

Awesome

As the second book in this series we still live Atticus as his character is developed. Maturity? Nope not yet, but responsibility is definately the order for the day.

Iron Druid

Great imagination, poor writing. Nothing more to say.

I've really missed Zelazny... Until know!

I haven't had so much fun reading since I first discovered Roger Zelazny. Hearne is entertaining and funny while weaving a great story filled with historical reference tied with popular culture.
I highly recommend and look forward to continuing in the series.

Outstanding!

I love this new author and his imaginative series. If you like Jim Butcher's snarky humor and Patrick Rothsfuss' adept word smithing, you'll adore this series too. I want to snuggle with Oberon and Atticus! Keep them coming Kevin! I want more!

The improper way to develop a series

It really aggregates me that an author, a talented one at that, takes a novel of average length then splits it into several small, overpriced, 500-600 page short stories then calls it a series. The first three books should have been ONE novel. If the writer and/or publisher insist in doing so, then don't charge full price for what is in essence a small short story. That said, I really did enjoy the short story's which I found similar to the writings of Jim Butcher. The three stars is solely for the marketing ploy, and price gouging.

Thank you!

My daughter wanted me to buy the first book so she could have her English Teacher sign it. I meant to read just a few pages - and finished it in 3 days ... She had to wait for her signature, ha ha. Hexed was just as enjoyable - fun characters I wish I could meet in real life. I hate waiting ... I think the next book I should try to stretch out so I don't imbibe too fast. Maybe ---- only reading at Rula Bula over pints of Guinness. What a great idea to create this world right here in the Valley of the Sun. Thanks, Mr. Hearne - for being such a wonderful influence to Lyzi this past year and writing such wonderful stories for us to enjoy together.

Hexed

Awesome read, very fun, witty, good adventure, with a modern twist. I am usually a hardcore fantasy reader. I tend to stay away from these types of real life meets fantasy stories but this was great! Can't wait for Hammered.

An entertaining read!

This second installment in Kevin Hearne's series does not disappoint! Non-stop action, cheeky humor and pop-culture references kept me reading into the wee hours. Can't wait for the next one!
