Description

Hell on earth.
That’s what it’s like for Luce to be apart from her fallen angel boyfriend, Daniel.
It took them an eternity to find one another, but now he has told her he must go away. Just long enough to hunt down the Outcasts—immortals who want to kill Luce. Daniel hides Luce at Shoreline, a school on the rocky California coast with unusually gifted students: Nephilim, the offspring of fallen angels and humans.
At Shoreline, Luce learns what the Shadows are, and how she can use them as windows to her previous lives. Yet the more Luce learns, the more she suspects that Daniel hasn’t told her everything. He’s hiding something—something dangerous.
What if Daniel’s version of the past isn’t actually true? What if Luce is really meant to be with someone else?

The second novel in the addictive FALLEN series . . . where love never dies.

Wowzers

This book is to die for!! If you haven't read and are looking at the reviews, and you like romantic and sappy love stories... This is the book to read. I've read fallen.(the first book) And now torment. It has knocked fallen out of the water. I'm gonna read passion next. So if you liked this review thanks... If not , it okay no biggie. But if you wanna see another one of my reviews look under the review section for passion and in about a week or less I will give you my input on it. Thank you for reading my comment and torment (and fallen if you have). Have a great time reading all of these sappy and romantic love stories. I love you all and especially ' lauren Kate' you are my favorite book author and my book 'idol'. Thanks for being inspiring to young women and maybe a few men with your fallen book series. Bye-bye.

It's more like to torture.

I do blame myself. I read Fallen because of it being made into a movie. I could barely take the poorly written book. But I never quit, can't help it. What should have taken a day or two... Took a couple of weeks. This books makes Twilight book look like literally masterpieces.

Good

I loved this book it was great and all the only reason I didn't give5 stars is because Luce gets on my nerves she acts really stupid sometime she's always whining about everything and complaining .ugh I just don't like her character .

Slow and boring....

I liked the first book, so I got this one... It was dull, slow and utterly boring. A bunch of new characters where introduced and there where a few brief scenes that were okay, but the story literally went no where.... I'm getting the third book because I hope that the story will actually progress in the third one! Despite my resevations with this book, It is an interesting series.

Tormented while reading

Really??? The first book is alright. The second book didn't go anywhere and the whole emotions with Luz was annoying and I couldn't stand the whining and emotions and I really had to swallow this book like medicine to read this. Can't read the next one don't want to waste my money. If I were to dissect this book there would be no connection to literary work just monetary purposes.

Totally sappy }:(

This book was especially horrible. It's all about how miserable Luce is because her boyfriend left her at this fantastic school. Big freaking deal! When you first read this book series you think awwww how romantic. But after awhile you'll realize god this book series is so sappy. It was so sappy for me that I felt like I was reading a maple tree(sorry that comment really doesn't make sense) Anyway this book was a torment to read.

Loved it

After reading the second novel in the series, I can't wait to hop right into the next. Although in the first novel Fallen, Luce's and Daniel's relationship seemed to come out of the air instead of reading it unfold, Torment took it all away and hopefully the next two books will as well.
It was easy to fall in love with the series. It wasn't something I just read when I had free time but something I NEEDED to read each day. Truly an awesome series that involves both love and action and can't wait to find out how everything unfolds in the end!

Not as good as the first

I am feeling very conflicted at the end of this book. Luce was irritating and while she didn't want to be treated like a child, she encouraged it by acting like one. Daniel is so aloof and abrupt that I have a hard time liking him. These characters love each other? I am just so confused. They hardly know each other, and there isn't enough relationship building in the story to make their love come alive.
I jjust hope the characters grow up in the next book and we get to understand their relationship. I am a sucker for a HEA and i hope one is in store for these two...and I am just too curious not to finish.

Its ok i guess

The book had a good plot but it just kept dragging on and on about stuff that didnt even matter in the story. It got towards the last few chapters.

Better than the first book

I liked Fallen, the first novel in the series, but Torment really blew it away. I can't wait until I can get my hands on Passion. Even if you haven't read Fallen, Torment is a great read.

Torment

Omg this book was amazing! I seriously am going to die waiting for passion to come out!!! But wait! So when Luce tells her mother that she is in love with Daniel her mother asks if it's the guy with blonde hair and Luce says yes.....doesn't Daniel have dark hair?? Maybe I'm wrong but it got me very confused. Also is the next book still going to tell what happens after this battle? Like are luces parents worried? But anyways, this was an extremely good book and I am addicted to the series, I read all of these books within 3 days or less because I just couldn't put them down!!
