Description

Has the "settle-for-less" financial plan become your plan for wealth? It sounds a little something like this:
"Graduate from college, get a good job, save 10% of your paycheck, buy a used car, cancel the movie channels, quit drinking expensive Starbucks mocha lattes, save and penny-pinch your life away, trust your life-savings to the stock market, and one day, when you are oh, say, 65 years old, you can retire rich."
Since you were old enough to hold a job, you've been hoodwinked, fooled into believing that wealth is created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market
I call this soul-sucking, dream-stealing dogma "The Slowlane" - an impotent FINANCIAL GAMBLE that dubiously promises wealth in a wheelchair. Accept the Slowlane as your financial roadmap and your financial future will blow carelessly asunder on a sailboat of HOPE: HOPE you can get a job and keep it, HOPE the stock market doesn't tank, HOPE the economy rebounds, HOPE, HOPE, and HOPE. Do you really want HOPE to be the centerpiece of your family's financial plan?
Drive the Slowlane road and you will find your life deteriorate into a miserable exhibition about what you cannot do, versus what you can
For those who don't want a lifetime subscription to mediocrity, penny-pinching, and deferred life experiences, there's an alternative; an expressway to extraordinary wealth capable of burning a trail to financial independence faster than any road out there. And shockingly, this road has nothing to do with the stock market, jobs, 401(k), mutual funds, or a lifestyle of coupons clipping.
Demand more. Change lanes and find your explosive wealth accelerator. Hit the Fastlane, crack the code to wealth, and find out how to live rich for a lifetime.

It is a wonderful read. Many concept applies for Alibaba and Jack Ma. “Great minds think alike.” I guess MJ and Jack both made a high impact through their work. Great read!Very high impact work even after 5 years, since first publication.

The Millionaire Fastlane is an outstanding roadmap to success. He uncovers how society has essentially convinced the masses to live their life in the Slowlane. This book will guide (those with the desire) to trade their 9-5 jobs towards a life of entrepreneurship and achieving true wealth....free time.

A must read if you're thinking of venturing out on your own and starting a business. I came across this book randomly a few weeks ago on Instagram and it couldn't have been better timing. I've been in the process of designing a website for the past 6 months and his marketing and branding techniques are very useful. He leads you from formulating an idea to building a successful business to maintaining wealth after you've built a useful product/service. Highly recommend.

This book is by far my favorite self-help boom that I have ever read. MJ does not sugarcoat anything and is very straightforward with everything he discusses. This book is humorous, entertaining, and educational all at the same time! This is the one book that I feel connected to in the sense that I can actually apply his principles to my real life and make significant changes over time. There is something about his confidence and sarcasm in his stories that kept me connected the whole time! I truly believe that I can become a millionaire from the $6 investment that I made for this book. And I can revisit these lessons anytime with no additional costs...what else needs to be said?!

This is a great book that helps greatly in changing perspectives and there's is much information to take away. I read this feeling highly motivated and with an idea of how and where to start but wish there was more to ignite the match. Perhaps some sort of framework or system to come up with needs and business ideas to fill those needs. Good book nonetheless.

This book gives the most honest insight into creating wealth. Instead if focusing on being your own boss or doing what you love, focus on creating value that can impact millions. This is the best few dollars you will spend.

This book gives you all you need to know to catapult you from your 9-5 to a thriving business as a passive income stream. It explains what business traits are needed to amass wealth quickly and why any old business won't suffice.
Equally important to the book is it's companion, thefastlaneforum.com
There are a variety of people on it including proven millionaires all willing to share their expertise and support you on your path to financial freedom. In short, read the book, use the forum, build a business.

This book has become my second bible. When I need guidance on my fast lane road I will re-read every section in this book. I also want to continue to make MJ more successful in purchasing everything he has for sale. I also passed this book down to a lot of family and friends, but it's up to them to turn off the tv and read. As for me I will continue to ride the FAST LANE!

This book has great points for anyone looking to change their course of actions to create a better life. The grammar skills used during the mid section towards the end seemed sub par, but overall the message is conveyed very precisely. I recommend this book for anyone who needs to make an immediate financial change. Good read.

This book is straight to the point, no fluff, no adda boys. MJ gives you a different outlook on life and crushes the dream we have been sold. I have always believed that retiring at 65 is crap... He let's me know that my thought process is not crazy.
I recommend this book for everyone......

MJ makes some great points.

DeMarco certainly does make excellent points throughout the book but towards the middle and end he begins to repeat himself and ramble. I acknowledge, however, that I may feel that way because I have a degree in entrepreneurship. Maybe this repetition will be insightful and valuable for those who are new to entrepreneurship. Another reason for the 3 stars is the typographical errors scattered throughout.
IN SHORT, for someone who with low exposure to the power of entrepreneurship, this book is a great launch pad. Starts strong and begins to fade towards the end but overall very solid.

Basic advice delivered with style. I can't say I learned much from this book because the advice is very basic. Like build a business based on need. What's the fastlane? Be an entreprenuer or inventor (the book focuses on entrepreneur).
Own your own business-- a type of business that can be leveraged for millions. If you want to earn millions, then impact millions. That's obvious! The fastlane wealth equation of wealth = net profit plus asset value is not groundbreaking either.
The style of the book is like a brash 25 year old. He finds the Slowlane wealth model "hilarious". He seriously loves his lamborghini and comments on that often. I liked his realistic and direct style though.
I did find the book motivating. I do own my own business and have a digital product that took a year to develop (can be leveraged to millions potentially), but I've been dragging my feet on releasing it. Do I really want to be an entrepreneur? I've been distracted with the Suze school of financial advice that keeps you in the Slowlane. This book really did motivate me towards entrepreneurship. Thanks!

I'm in the millionaire fastlane!!!

This book had me gone in 60 seconds! It was an exceptional read, definitely a read before you do anything else kind of book. Often times people are just driving around in life when we can just get in the fastlane and go. But we must know where, when, and how fast we are going to get to our financial destination. I really identified with this book, the words told a story as if it were about me in real time, going to work and coming from work. This is a fun read.

Brilliant. Very practical ideas.

This guy tells the truth. I have ton of business ideas. This book gave me the filters that I can use to narrow down the promising ideas. Easy to read. Very well written.
I don't agree with some of his ideas. I know how to address those issues because I read Richard Koch's books on 80-20 principle.
Worth every penny. Go ahead and buy it.

This book opened my mind. This is a must read for ANYONE serious about financial freedom

I just read the book on my iPhone! Thanks so much for writing this thing and actually showing me the process, during my daily commutes, bathroom breaks, downtime/freetime. The only
Book ever to come close was "reminsance if a stock operator" for me because I'm a day trader but this blew it out of the water for life 2.0.
I had a few business I didn't really know what to do with them or how to grow
Them, but now I'm thinking scale and magnitude, with a focus on need. I've tosses my business plan in the trash, and now I'm focusing on what truly matters.
I've never high lighted this much content in a book in my life, but once you start reading you won't be able to resist.
