Kind of corny but enjoyable

I went into this series thinking it was going to be another corny vampire story's but it wasn't it took me an it to get into it but once it got going I read it in one day it overall was a good book but I wish there was more action then just two chapters at the end

Wow!

I find that vampires are hard to do well but the author of this book has it pegged! Zoe Redbird is easy to relate to, powerful, and kind of scary. Overall this book is fantastic!😍😍😍😍😍😍

Amazinggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found out about these great novels when I was in 8th grade and immediately fell I love. I even got most of the girls in my class to read them. Although I've read all the novels, after three years later( I'm a junior now) I'm starting back from the beginning again. I really love these novels. I think they should make a movie out of it.

Love a good vampire book!

Whoa! I loved this book! My friend told me about it, and it seemed interesting, but nothing I would read. But yesterday we were going on vacation and I needed something to read so I asked my friend what were good books, she said the House Of Night series was good and I figured I would read it. WOW!!! This has put new light in me of freewill and our daily choices. This has forever marked my heart for the path of righteous. It got old.

Many people raved about this book series, so, by request, I read the first few. I never really liked than character, or any of them, but I thought the books were good reads since it had so many sequels. But when I got to the forth book, I stopped reading. Every book was the same - the main character was the center of attention in everything(I know main characters usually are, but come on! There's like ten books), the characters were very plain and simple, the plot kept getting bigger and bigger until it was cheesy, and the romances are pathetic. I'm sorry, I really did not enjoy these books.

Children's Fiction?

I enjoyed this book...and the entire series for that matter. However, this series isn't for children. The sexuality & the profanity (especially later in the series) keep me from allowing my teenage daughter from reading this.

I know live in a world where teenagers have become sexual beings & profanity can be found on every street corner & almost in every commercial on TV. That doesn't mean we have to promote it to kids.

Great start to the series! I love the series! It starts out great and ends great! I would recommend it to anyone! It's amazing! I never wanted to finish it because it's that good!! So worth the cash!

In this amazing book you will find yourself transported into the book then you realize that it's just words that your looking at .right when you think you know what's going to happen something completely different happens .This book will make a perfect book for teens and I'm sure they will want to pick up the next book after their done reading this one it only took me a day and a half to finish this amazing novel

Interesting plot, but the characters are cardboard cut outs of "I want my characters to act like real teens" why don't you jus make them real people... And it's a little insulting when you have to mention one of them is gay all the time, what does his personal preference have to do with everything he does? It's a bit over board... Anyway the plot will make you look past the annoying main character but she'll get unbearable around book 4. Oh and, this book takes place all in a month... So be ready to think it's a bit idiotic how quickly the relationships are formed.

This is a good book especially for 2.99. If you're not willing to buy the rest of the series for $9 a book, I wouldn't suggest getting this book. It's not worth the read if you're not willing to read the rest. I liked this book, it had a very different concept about vampire stuff which is refreshing.

Creative Vampire Novel

Okay, I'm just going to say I've read a whole bunch of vampire novels like Twilight or Cirque du Freak but this one was one of the better ones. Though I didn't enjoy it quite enjoy it quite as much as Darren Shan's Cirque du Freak saga it was very entertaining and is a must read for all vampire or non vampire fans alike. Though the language and the pagan ceremonies may disturb some, I found it easy to over look. Over all 7 out of 10.

One of my favorites

The first book in one of my favorite series; I first borrowed this from a friend 3 years ago and I'm so excited that I can get it on my iPod. The characters are well developed and believable, and the plot is exciting. A very fast read; much better than Twilight or most of the other vampire crap out there.

House of Night

This is the first book of the House of Night series (which is amazing and worth reading!), and I definitely recommend... However it was kind of slow for me at first but once u get to know the characters then u won't ever want to put this whole series down!

I read through all 7 books so fast and am now waiting patiently for the next one to come out in January!

Definitely give it a try if u like the twilight series, the Fever series (so awesome), or Vampire Academy (also totally wonderful & amazing, especially after the first book..! And now I am reading evermore and liking it possibly too!?
