Amazing
This is the single greatest book I have read in my life. The suspense kills you and makes you want to keep reading. It tells much about what it's like to grow up in the projects of Harlem and what it's like to be in prison and how some people just don't belong there. This is a must read!

Sorry but I hated it
I had to read this in class and it was painful to have to read it all. It was hard to finish it because it was so uninteresting. Over all it was just boring :/

Great book
Doing a project on the book, I thought it would be a bad book. While reading it I was completely blown away. After I finished it I wanted to read more. I highly recommend this book to anyone that likes movies, law,or suspense.

This book was so amazing and it leaves you on the edge of your seat. It will make you cry, laugh, and confused as you follow the story of 16 year old Steve and as he is in trial. It is the most amazing book I have ever read. If you have not read this book, then you should.

This. Book. Is. AMAZING!!!
Monster was something that I could not put down no matter how much I wanted to, so I could sleep. It kept me on my toes the whole time. And the ending? Wow, it made my heart rate go up. Good read.

Love It
I've read this book a couple of times and I love it. Walter Dean Myers is one of the most creative writers you will ever come across. Just about every book he writes has a different style to it and I read them just to see what he'll come up with next. He's wrote his book in the form of poems, movie scripts, 2nd person, police reports, and so much more. Every time its something new and all of his books are inspirational. I give him a 5 as a writer.
I recommend this book along with some others:
