Really good

This was such a great emotional story. Kaci really seems to capture the emotional turmoil that Noah experiences ever since that IED went off and changed his life forever. From the second chapter I got sucked into the story and I’m looking forward to reaching some more books in this series

Perfect start to a new series.

This series hits the ground running! Lexi and Becky are not only lifelong best friends, but also sisters in law. When Becky’s husband, Lexi’s brother is injured by an ied both women go to Germany to be with him. Lexi does not expect to meet the man that saved her brother’s life and ultimately become his caretaker and so much more. This story was written with so much heart and emotion at times it was hard to read. I just love Lexi’s soul and her can do spirit that I kept reading. I so look forward to Easton’s story!

Excellent Book! Great Start to the Series

Wow! This book is heart wrenching and wonderful all at the same time. Noah and Lexi have this instant attraction from the moment they meet but they don’t say anything both dealing with their own pain. Lexi is convinced she'll never love again and Noah is so badly injured he doesn't believe anyone would want him. Lexi refuses to Ieave Noah’s side when she realize she has no one and from that a true friendship is born but will it turn into more? I couldn't put this book down. Noah and Lexi's story made me cry, smile, laugh, my emotions were on a crazy rollercoaster ride. Excellent, well written story told in duel first person POV's of Lexi and Noah. First person books are hit and miss for me, but I honestly think that the story has more impact this way. Be prepared to cry. I'm looking forward to reading Easton's story which is set to be the next book released.
