Description

Every day, my neighbor tells me to have a good morning.
Every day, I tell him to f*ck off.
Kyle Lane is the town’s hottest cop.
He’s also the man I’ve despised since high school.
Each morning, he stands on his porch with an annoying smirk on his perfect face.
He’s made it his life’s mission to get under my skin.
Until one day, he’s no longer on his porch but on mine.
He claims he wants to redeem himself for ruining my reputation.
My instincts tell me to stay away, but with each morning he shows up, it becomes harder and harder to resist his charm.
I was never supposed to fall in love with my neighbor and once he finds out my secret, we’ll forever be enemies.
(An enemies to lover romance.)

Why would any woman want a guy who lies about her and threatens her. Horrible concept.

Stereotype, Cliche, childish is just a few of the names I’d use to describe this book and I only had to read the first chapter before I decided it’s not worth my time. Don’t make the same mistake as me, KEEP SCROLLING FOR SOMETHING BETTER!

What an incredible journey of enemies to lovers, humor, and in-the-gut anguish with a ton of banter that will make you laugh and a scene that will rip your heart out. I’m so glad I read this book, I was unable to put it down and I am ready to read more!

The characters in this book sound like they’re still sophomores in high school. Not only that but the woman has no real reason to entertain the man and his childish antics, not that she’s not equally as childish.
Also the author tries to be clever but not telling us exactly what happened when they were in school together only eluding to it every other sentence and that is perhaps the most annoying part of the book. It’s not mystery it’s unnecessary. If I knew what had happened back then, I might have been able to read past the third chapter, but I figured it was something silly like he talked about her having dirty panties or something and the thought made me give up on the book.
I wouldn’t recommend.
