Just read it!
Great book, very well written. It kept me hooked on Lucy’s story and how much she had to endure. It had me on an emotional rollercoaster of shock, sadness, anger, happiness and so much more. I enjoyed all the characters and how important famiy is to them even if not blood related. One of the things I appreciated about the book was that the relationship and feelings between Lucy and Jordan was built up over time and not just the next day they were together. I only wish it was a little bit longer!

Great Story!!
This story was heartbreaking but amazing! I couldn’t put it down. Totally a great read. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

This book gets very morbid and graphic towards the end and its just not worth reading honestly. Its quick paced and there isn’t a real “romance” and wooing to it like there should be in a romance novel. Its super dark and not well written. There is rape basically discussed throughout the whole book and brutal violence associated with the main character.

Warning Needed
Well written book, but I would have liked a warning about the explicit nature toward the end. I loved the characters especially Jordan and Lucy. The women are strong, which I love. The book, in general, goes over some dark topic, but I wasn’t prepared for the detail toward the end. I must say the writing is on point because I felt every word of chapter 27 and it literally turned my stomach. I was unable to finish the book. I would like to finish it eventually because the writing was so good, but it might take a while. Due to the sensitive topics, this book is not for everyone.

OMG this book is awesome! The love story between Jordan and Lucy is so real and sweet! The things that Lucy endures from her biological family is unreal. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the story has to offer.

Could not put the story down. Young love, honor, friendship and the true meaning of family. Family isn’t always those that share your blood. Loved the story, the twisted, the ugliness and the pure love that developed. Not a cliffhanger!

Awesome book!
This was my first free book I have downloaded from iBooks and I have to say I am beyond impressed. This book was Amazing! I was seriously HOOKED after just the first few pages! I could not find myself putting the book down, so I literally read the entire book within a couple hours. Now I can’t wait to start reading the remaining books.

Absolutely LOVE!!!
I couldn’t put this book down! Jordan and Lucy were just meant to be! At the age of 14 she knew she wanted him. The face that he waited sooo many years to claim her was BEAUTIFUL. Amazing story I’m happy Lucy was able to turn around and fight. Strong woman!

I absolutely loved it. I don’t like many books because I can never get into them but I definitely got into this one. I felt like I was part of the book. I couldn’t stop reading it.
