This is an intriguing story. Your senses push your desire to read the entire book in one shot. Follow up books are described and the style of this ending makes starting to read the next book discouraged. Fortunately, this does not change the excitement of this book.

I don’t know, honestly. It just didn’t seem to have a plot that made sense. I really gave this book such high hopes, just to be let down. I hate leaving bad reviews on books but I just can’t say anything good about this one.

Interesting, which is very intriguing. I loved the cliff hanger, I just wish the next series was free.

The idea was there but it feels like the plot was half thought out. I love the idea but is reminds me of The Darkest Minds. It didn’t leave me on the edge of my seat dying to get my hands on the next book. It took a while to get to the climax and when you got there it was bland. I would have liked to hear more background for Jamie and Gabby.

I just started reading this series and so far I was not disappointed. It helps to open your eyes too about some of the things that we keep a blind eye open too when agencies can do whatever they want to and pick people at random. It’s not a black or white thing anymore it’s all of us

Not great, the story is not new, something you can read in wattpad. Characters were not developed, it is not the worse book but I expected more from this dirt book.

Great story!

This is a new to me author, and I just say I believe I am hooked!

In this book, we meet Jamie a not so typical high school jock that is having a small identity crisis. He gets to know his neighbor Gabby a little more due to a school project.

With her support and influence, he starts to realize some things about himself. These things are overwhelming and will absolutely cause some issues with his father!!

I’m not about spoilers, but I will tell you some sparks will fly!

This book is the start of a wonderfully creative world. I have read many of W.J. May’s books and she has an amazing gift of creating worlds of fantasy layered so seamlessly into reality that it doesn’t take long before you are deeply immersed in the world she has created for you. This story is no different. You will feel like Jamie and Gabbie are your neighbors and their heart racing plight will have you unable to put it down. I can’t wait for the next in the series.

This was a great read. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one sitting. I really liked how Jamie discovers his abilities and we are given his perspective on things. I can’t wait to read what’s next in the series.

W.J. May knows how to world build! What a fantastic start to a new series! I love that this is done in a male perspective and her writing is so convincing and believable! I can’t wait for book 2!
