I don’t know how this woman does it but each hero and heroine gets better and better with each book she churns out. Bark who is ALPHA to his core recognizes his other half from their very first meeting. For Jodi it took her a bit of time (not too much though) once she see’s how he would do anything to keep her safe. Esther has a way of wrapping you in the bubble in her head and making you realize that every hero may have certain barbarian ways but deep down inside they are doing what they can to protect those that they love.
