I’ve read books by this author before and there have been good ones. I don’t understand who previewed this book and told the author is was a good idea to publish.

As a reader, I read that something happened before the start of the book. For 10 chapters, the characters kept referring to the incident. Apparently, as a reader I’m supposed to sympathize with the main female and be impressed with the main male’s change (that is briefly mentioned) and intentions to woo her.

However, after 10 chapters...nothing happens. No revelations. No wooing. Nothing. I need a little more incentive to keep reading than less than mildly amusing dialogue.

Change the names from Pipe to Demon, Nikki to Paige and you won’t need to read this author’s “Fighting Demon” MC romance. The stories are practically the same. Crazy ol’ lady? Karmen / Meg. Check. She catching him with another woman. Check. Pregnant lady shenanigans? Check (though in “Demon” it’s not the crazy lady who was pregnant.)

I have never laughed so hard reading! These chicks are hilarious! Definitely going to read the others!

I really enjoy Ms Travers sense of humor!

An intense and fabulous story for any MC fan to enjoy! Bring on the next!
