Lesli turns every uplifting trope on its head to produce a message that is even more uplifting. I plan to share this story with my 5 and 6 year olds right away. Similar to shows like spongebob there are plenty of winks at adults to keep them engaged with humor that will fly over the heads of small children, but the kids will love it too. 5 stars

This book is heartfelt and can be enjoyed by all ages! You laugh, you cry, you cheer but most of all you fall in love with Blu! and his positivity and ability to embrace his uniqueness! In this story it's okay to be Blu! 💙
