“Going Down” is the first book in Jayne Rylon’s “Divemasters” series, and it was fantastic. This book focuses on Archer, a reluctant billionaire who is trying to right the wrongs from his past, and Waverly, the girl who got away. Once again, Jayne has delivered an exciting story, fun characters, and all the twists and turns a reader could want. I loved that she incorporated a concept from her “Men in Blue” series (because for all her loyal readers like myself, I enjoy when series and characters cross over), and that she focuses on the importance of friendship….in addition to all the romance. As with all of Jayne’s books, the chemistry between Archer and Waverly is hot, hot, hot, and his relationship with his two best friends and Banks, Archer’s former butler and mentor, is genuine and real. I cannot wait to read the next two books!

Waverly's life was shattered and she was left alone to pick up the pieces by herself. She is ready for a relaxed job and working for Archer is a sweet bonus. Neither one of them are ready for their undeniable passions, nor the dangers of the first voyage. There are some very definite problems but they act like mature adults and talk about what is going on.
