Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this book. Worth every penny.

While objectively the book was long, it didn't feel that way while reading it. The tension and build up was great. Looking back, I really appreciated how the storyline flowed and how the characters were well developed. To elaborate, I feel that too many "typical" romance novels do one or both of the following for introducing tension into the book without making either of the main characters seem "flawed": 1) Have an alternative storyline that acts as filler and/or 2) Have "big tensions" be entirely based on miscommunication and the main characters acting childish (which is not sexy, imo). HOWEVER, I thought that this book was a refreshing exception to the rule. The content remained centered around the interactions between the two main characters, so there wasn't that temptation to skim/get back to the main story, because it was already there.

Writing style was great...paragraph and sentence construction was expertly done, ensuring a smooth flow, which was really nice.

Lastly, this book is HOT!!! Super sexy, super kinky. BDSM novels of this caliber are hard to find, and I really hope that the author will write & release more of them soon!
