This app is terrible.It basically cuts out specific colors from a picture, so unless your subject is behind a white wall or something,it's almost impossible to cut it out. This app needs a scissors tool so I can cut it out by myself 🙄

I have been working with photos to add to my daughters specialty cake website for years using photoshop on my laptop. I have been wishing for an iPad app that would give me comparable results in removing backgrounds... and now I have found it! This app allows me to zoom in for incredible detail and is very forgiving with the selective restore function. I have only been using it for a short while but already I am sold!

For those looking to remove the background of an image, this is a must have tool. There are no other's identical to it, and proves that for an artist or illustrator, iPhone and smartphones as a whole, have become a universal tool capable of accomplishing things that would have otherwise been more challenging if not impossible to turn out with the same results on a computer.

Super App!
I tried other apps to accomplish erasure of backgrounds, but none proved as easy to use and efficient as this one.
The "zoom in/out" feature makes erasing around human subjects especially simple with a real close-to-the-edge ability. The "undo" icon makes errors easily correctable and returnable to any stage in your project through multiple clicks backward.
Intuitive to use, uncomplicated, easy, and responsive, makes this a superior product. I highly recommend it.

As a fanart instagram account, I crop out the heading things pixiv has (I still give artists their credit!) bc they have ads on the bottom and I can't save images. But with this app, you could just select a pic and crop out someone that isn't suppose to be in a picture, part of a pic that is blurry, etc.

Great app, for getting rid of backgrounds.
The zoom in detail is especial helpful, seeming as though a lot of apps that perform the same function, can't zoom in well.
So that's a great change, since it makes it easier to get rid of any background you might miss. Auto erase tool, is also very good too. All in all perfect app for getting rid of a background and or making a transparent image. Totally recommend it for photo editing!

Exactly what I needed!
I have a small-business and use Canva on my iPad for design because PhotoShop just isn't as comfortable for me on iPad as it is a desktop. However, Canva seems to lack adding a transparent background. Magic Eraser has helped me make versions of my logo, as well as other elements, with a transparent background for applications when I need it. It's a great tool to go hand-in-hand with Canva for those doing their own design work.

This really is like magic!
I've tried so many apps that promise to do one simple thing. Remove the background (without manually doing so) that allows you to save it in original quality, and in transparent. This app SHOULD be a paid for app, and I would gladly pay $4.99 like most photo editing apps do, that don't even offer this type of service! If I could give it 10 stars I would! There are so any apps out there that claim to do what this one does but fails to deliver.

Absolutely Incredible
No watermarks, no tricks, just editing. This is a perfect app for my masking needs, and it lets me be precise without having to pay for it. Many apps I came across would force me to pay in order to use the restore tool or in order to even mask! I am so glad I stumbled across this app. Yes, If course, there are ads, but honestly that isn't much of a problem. Unlike other free apps they don't crowd and hound the screen, it's casual. This app gets rid of backgrounds easily and quickly! Not only can you zoom in really far, but their is also and invert mode which makes things so much easier. (Update) simplest way erase backgrounds!
Trying to do some video/photo editing and such a pain to go back and forth between pc/iPhone/iPad etc so if this works on the free version I'm buying! (Update) this app is outstanding! Simple to use, fast, and reliable. Period. I do highlights videos and being able to take a picture or image and erase the background content to overlay it on another image video in the fly is priceless! Great work sirs!

I downloaded 10 different apps - this one WINS
I downloaded 10 different apps that promised the same thing I needed to do. Which was a erase the background and save it as a transparent file. This one did it for free without a watermark and did exactly what I needed it to do with all the right tools. all the other ones promised a bunch but did not deliver or I had to pay. It's saved me tons of time, money and I did it all on my mobile phone which is exactly what I wanted to do. Perfection!!!

Absolutely Incredible (My Boss Thinks I'm a Genius!)
I do print and digital marketing for my employer. Being able to edit photos on such a precise level is such an asset! It took some time to really flow with this app (but not much time). Wow! This app is so advanced and produces very high quality results. It allows you to zoom in more than enough and chance the size of your pencil stroke - I use the iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. Its actually kind of relaxing to do this part of my job - it's like coloring! Thanks to the designers for an awesome app! Give your self a chance to learn how to us it. You will NOT be disappointed.

Does everything I need
I really like this app. It's not as simple as the tutorial but now that I've used it a bunch and understand the restore tool, how to use the red background for fine tuning, etc I am able to do everything I hoped I could do fairly quickly. I also like the save as a transparency option.

This app is Perfect(almost)
This app is really well app. I really enjoyed this because I've downloaded a big amount of apps to do this type of stuff and non work good as this one. That being said there are some flaws that can be fixed.
1)sometimes there are little pieces that don't completely come off
2) Some of those pieces that when you take off, take off most of the main picture
But this is a very cool app!!

This is so helpful!
I went through a bunch of apps trying to find one that could do what I needed. None of them came even close to being effective. This one on the other hand was FANTASTIC, I almost didn't get it because I thought the reviews were too good to be true. They are not! It is every bit as good as any of the five stars say! It allows you to zoom and do detailed editing as well as doing a pretty accurate job on its own. If anyone asked me for help with creating logos or doing graphic design on their device, I would most definitely recommend this app!

I always thought making sticker images was very difficult, nearly impossible. UNTIL i downloaded MagicEraser! This app makes is very easy and fun to make sticker images! Surely, though it depends on the picture you are editing, but for most pictures it should be easy! definately get this app!

The Best Background Eraser! More fun then Photoshop!!
Touch a block of color and watch it dissapear.
You can get in nice and close, auto Feather the edges of the finest selections. I love how you can select the color you are addressing, and easily vary the percentage of effect on a specific hue- you can watch those pixels disappear as the percentage is increased!
Fluid and exact; the only thing I didn't like was the missing "magnified edit window" showing what my finger was blocking during my edit!
A helpful small window within the screen showing where my finger was touching the working edge; now greatly amplified visually, to UNHIDE what my finger was blocking (the area I was trying to edit) would've been very helpful. Please make the upgrade or share how to easily incorporate this feature? I took away a star because it's missing.

Outstanding app
Although I'm only doing this to get the high definition setting I still think this app is amazing for free cropping photos. I use it to make my wallpaper with tumblr outlining pics. Those are extremely hard to crop so I use this app and it makes it so easy to zoom in and tap on the part I want gone :)

I like that it's very user friendly! This is my first time using an app like to to remove the background color. I found another app online through a website that wanted to charge me over $1.88 for each photo! No thank you! I can do it myself! Other than that I recommend playing around with the app so that you can get a feel for it. The more you create, the more you will feel comfortable! Hope this helps!

I don't leave many reviews but this app is amazing. It does exactly what it claims and is extremely easy to use. The magic wand slider at the bottom and the dynamic picture update was more than I had thought possible. Best background remover I've tried to date and is definitely a keeper. Fantastic editing app
I used to believe making stickers of photos was hard because I used apps like the cutting scissors from Snapchat and this app called kamio (got taken off of App Store I think) but with Magic eraser it's a lot more easier trust me. They don't even put watermarks and you don't know how thankful I am for that. For all those photo editing geeks out there, get this app yeah ? I say all of this in complete honesty, You'll be doing yourself a favor

I mean seriously... wow. This works so crazy good I can't even find free software for my PC that works this good!!! I have been trying to edit my logo for like 4 days to make it a transparent PNG..On this app, I did what I've been trying to do on my computer in less than 30 min. You can zoom WAY in, adjust the offset so your finger isn't in the way, adjust the softness of the eraser or pen tool, everything was literally EXACTLY what I needed!!! Way to go!!! Super awesome!!!!!

If there was a way to background fill erased areas with color or pictures, I'd give this app a 5! I have to use another app to overlay image over a background.
Update: The more I use it, the more I love it. Love it. Love it. Super easy to use, clean clear cuts. And the support is amazing. I have a few of the vendor's apps, and every email I have sent has received a prompt reply; most often the same day!

I have found the best!
I have tried every program to achieve a white background for my inventory. The second item was white on white, which I have never been able to achieve. Since I'm new at this program, it took me a little longer but it came out perfectly! Fabulous program 😃

GAMECHANGER
It is so helpful because I always need to get rid of the background and it doesn't have a clean cut. However, this app helps do that and you don't have to waste so much time doing that. Also you can zoom in, which is always helpful if you need to erase tiny little details. However, I slides my finger to the left and it went back to my camera roll and the photo I was working on disappeared. Luckily, I didn't do much yet, but you just need to be careful.

I was looking for the background eraser for Windows and never came by the truly free one, until this. I like it a lot, easy to use when you spend a little time to learn. The only problem preventing me from giving 5 is that when you accidentally swipe to the right everything disappears and the work should be started again. However, there may be a trick I do not know to revert.

A Must Have for any artist
I am a tattoo artist and graphic designer who spends a great deal of time traveling and working on my iPad Pro. This app is a great augment to Procreate, Sketchbook and some other great apps that will no automatically remove backgrounds. I've used other versions of this type of app and this is the only one I have found not to be as buggy.

Way better than the others
This one has a wand tool, a zoom tool, other options when editing and higher quality downloads. The only thing the other one has is an eraser that you have to use manually. Why this one is the first one you see when you search background remover or transparent photo maker I don't know, but it should be. Ive tried 3 others and this one is by far the best.

Better than photoshop and eraser
Perfect. I can zoom in really close which I absolutely love because I can really smooth out the edges and they look natural. I use to use photoshop but it would never let me zoom in super close so I'd always end up having unwanted and unclean edges. I also used eraser which I also like, but it's not like the magic eraser. I find magic eraser so much easier because the erasing part is easy and then the red mask helps me erase the areas I missed. With eraser, an annoyance I had was the touch aspect to erase. The area you pressed down guided the eraser, but the actually eraser was above the finger and if I rotated my picture the eraser itself wouldn't rotate. So yes, the magic eraser is my favorite. Gives me perfect results and hassle free. I love it, thank you for making it free and thank you for no water marks !

This app does exactly what it promises. You can erase free style, or it will erase backgrounds quite easily. You can zoom, scroll and rotate the photo. You can change the size of the eraser tool and also adjust its softness as well as offset the tool. In addition to the eraser tool is a restore tool so that you can, with a fine touch restore any part of the photo that you want back, this in addition to the redo button. There is so much to this app, but since I'm a photo editor newby, I don't even have the vocabulary to describe it all. Or to reduce this all down to one word…jus WOW!

Although it doesn't have all the features of other editing apps, it is by far the best one I've tried for making pieces of photos transparent. Best Transparent Creator Ever!
This is the only app that actually works while saving the image! Usually you don't have the choice to save it with no background, but with this you do. I've tried many apps before and this one is by far the greatest. I completely recommend getting this! Not a waste of your storage.

Love the ease!
I needed my real signature as an image to personalize newsletters for my organization. I had researched how to do this, and I would always give up thinking I needed Adobe or another complicated and expensive editor with a multi-step process to do this. I just downloaded the app, used a picture on my phone of my own signature, and it automatically did exactly what I needed and let me save it as a high res PNG image. I'm in awe!

Tried several apps; this was the best for eBay
I have to adjust pictures for eBay, so I tested about 5 different apps. Just whatever was the top 5 or 6 with 4+ stars that the search pulled up. This was the app that was the most simple, easy, and the picture came out most "natural" after saving. If you want to be able to fine-tune, this app does have the feature, but may not be the best for fine-tuning. For my purposes, I have to do it fast and accurately. I didn't think appearing "natural" would matter until I compared the same picture edit with the other 5 apps I tested with - it does make a different. So this was the perfect app for me.

This is a pretty sweet and simple little app! I love it! It's easy to use and it has a few simple tools. I love erasing backgrounds with this app.
The only bad thing about this app is that I can't reset the orientation so that my picture isn't lopsided. I have to orient it by hand which isn't perfect.
I have a hard time trying to position my work so that it's completely oriented 0 (zero) degrees. If that feature would be added in, I would give it a five stars!

At first, I was a little skeptical. But after trying it with only one of my pictures after seeing the final product, I was sold. And then when I press safe you did not force me to buy an application if not he just asked me for an honest review...
And that's exactly what I'm giving..is for it to say that there are many apps out there for photography there are some good ones there are some awful ones but this one to me was the winner to remove any back room for any picture high DEF are low quality. Thank you for making this great app for free

Absolutely amazing app does the job is wonderful and free no watermarks or anything which is so generous on behalf of Alan, the maker of this awesome app. It even comes with a magic wand to detect the background which is pretty great! Did I mention that the quality is amazing!? It does come with ads, but for an app this great shouldn't it? Anyways the ads are very tolerable, occasionally "popping" up here and there after the app has been closed and reopened. 10/10 for an iOS app.

This app allows me to crop photos and keep the quality of the original photo. It's amazing because many of the other photo crop apps lose a lot of the quality. I recommend this app to people who want to keep the quality of their photos. But it is sometimes hard to crop it using the magic eraser bucket because it is hard to get 1 color erased and not the whole thing.

AMAZING!
This app does exactly what I want every time. It's super easy to use, I can zoom in and out, I can turn it at any angle I want. I can use the magic eraser and just click to remove a certain area, or I can do it manually for more precise areas. There's an undo button, which only undoes one change at a time, rather than making me start all over. I can save my finished project as a transparent or on a white background, in high or low resolution, and it doesn't force me to give a review. It gives the option, but doesn't force me. Definitely deserves a good review, though. I use this app for edits for Instagram and tumblr all the time, and have thousands of likes on the edits I post. This is one of those apps that I wouldn't delete even to open up space to take a couple of photos at a concert.

Just what I needed and it works great! I *will* be paying to remove the ads, not because they bother me.. Just because I want to encourage the dev! See my original review below.
Seems great so far
But I haven't seen the final saved file yet. This isn't a forced rating but it was asked for.. If the final save file is as good as it seemed, I'll add the 5th star. Other than that, the app is easy to use, if a bit time consuming. The zoom works very well. The ads are unobtrusive and you can pay to have them removed.

Forget all the others. This app is great. The way it allows you to magnify the photo while not also magnifying the eraser allows for quick and easy precision detailed cutting. You can magnify as high as you need to go. You can rotate your photo as you're cutting, even when magnified, and that is very very useful. Save in high def without strings attached. Thank you. Finally!

Great app
Thanks to the developers for this awesome app. As an engineering student, I have to make photos of my experiments presentable, and my photography skills are (ahem) a little lacking. Unlike that other app that only lets you remove background from a water balloon until you pay, this app works straight 'out of the box' so to. speak. I'll happily support the developer once my wife lets me. In the meantime, keep up the good work, and the ads don't bug me.

THIS APP IS AMAZING!! GET IT!!!
So far no glitches, it has everything I love, such as being able to "magically" erase a background or even anything else in between such as lines or fillings!! It also has the option to save to your camera roll as a png, which is great because if you want to put a pretty background where the old background was, then you can do that with another app! Everything is amazing and I really recommend you get it!
