Best game in a long time!

I absolutely love the game, I just have one request. Can you add more mods from steam and stuff? Like the GSG9, GIGN, and And IDF Operator Mods, and better mods along the game? I'm very impatient so please hurry!

Great for strategy lovers

I love! This game so much and the day I sall that door kickers 2 was coming out I was so happy but then i read that it was only for pc I was so sad I would love if door kickers 2 could come out on mobile plz I love the game keep up the good work

Great game it's exactly what's paid for. The only complaint I have is that there are too few weapons.

Very good

I really like this game. I have it for PC/Mac and when I learned it was available on iPad, I got very excited. The game is so much better (and seemingly faster) with a touch screen instead of a mouse.

But the translation between platforms hasn't been perfect. There are some rather annoying bugs —If you switch out to another app and switch back, the controls will be unresponsive. I have tried contacting support about this issue and have not heard back from them. (I did find a way to get the controls working again: pull down your notification page and then punch it back up.)

Another annoying bit is the planning and path making. You can erase 2 minutes of planning with one misplaced swipe that was supposed to do something else. The bigger path making problem is that sometimes they don't go away. You get phantom paths and waypoints. You don't know if those are actually there or just look like they are. Sometimes they look like they aren't there, but they are, and then you have a member of your SWAT team running around in little circles.

Should you get this game? If you like tactics games, the answer is a big, vehement yes. The only question is whether this app, or for PC/Mac from gog.com or Steam (Steam has easier mods than gog.com, gog.com has no DRM). This app has mods, too, but they do less and are sometimes silly. The PC/Mac game has lots of mods and making your own isn't hard, but they are far less organized. On the other hand, it's harder to completely mess up a unit's path with a misplaced finger or click. Big argument the App Store version: It's a lot cheaper, and its still the full game. On your iPad. Awesome.

Door kickers might just be one of the best values available in the App Store!

Mechanics seem fine, just boring as hell. Only played a few hours.

This game has some serious, long lasting fun. There's plenty of unlocks and some deep strategy elements. I can't wait for doorkickers 2!

Awesome game but it would be so much better if we have all game data stored on iCloud. That way I don't need to start all over agin on iOS when I accidentally deleted the game

Amazing!!! Best money I have ever spent on the App Store. It's like a puzzle, but with guns. Slightly harder to use than on the pc, but that's the nature of touch controls. Can't wait for Door Kickers 2 (just announced)!!!!

Really great game if you have the patience for it and the time and I enjoyed this game so much.

Controls are intuitive and fun, and the strategy is able to be both fun and challenging! The game isn't the cheapest, but the near endless gameplay is worth the cost. Mods make the game can better, atop of already an amazing baseline.

Amazing game the same game as the pc and same levels but PSL no stars for levels.

When I got this game my friends and I thought it would be like every other swat game. Instead we started playing a game that has you thinking of how to protect your units and complete the mission that constantly changes.

At least make one update. Please! Just make 4 or 5 mods that are new and one new mission called the chase were there all over the town but the classes are only assaulters and snipers but there's a helicopter with the sniper. But can you just please make an update. And I rated 5 stars this is an awesome

Fantastic turn based strategy. Love this game. Much better interface and support than Breach & Clear, another great turn based strategy game. Really wish this would be made playable on the iPhone. At least the plus if not the smaller screen ones.

I loved door kickers worth every cent! I'm hoping that door kickers 2 will be released at the same time as the computer version!!!!!!!! Should buy this game you will enjoy it trust me! I think they need to add more mods like on the computer how you can add the gign and gsg9 or possibly add a workshop like on steam! Also waiting on that map creator!

This game is 100% worth it. The mods are awesome and I can't wait to see more. I also can't wait to see their next project they're working on. And with someone who's father was in SWAT is cool to be able to essentially command one. It's hard but fair. All I have to say is "Clear your corners!"

Just picked up this and I have to say this game is amazing providing tons of missions and upgradable equipments. What's more, you can even generate random maps and download new contents such as gun mods, mission from the puzzle icon at the setting. What is even more exciting is that the second installment is coming!!!

I only found one complain I have with this game. It's the fact that there is no progress saving in iCloud. I had to erase the game because I needed to free some space and then, when I downloaded it again, everything was lost. That was a bummer. Other than that. Great game. A gem I didn't heard about before.

The controls are easy to learn and the variety of the missions is excellent. To me it feels like a live action version of Xcom that allows you to get into the meaty part of game right away. That is a good thing people.

A few minor glitches now and again, but an amazingly well-crafted game. If you like tactical squad command games and counter-terror, this definitely takes things to a new level. Yes, it's on even terms with Breach & Clear, and yes, there's way more missions. (B&C is still awesome, but this is a far better bang for your buck)

This game is perfect for me. There are so many small things that make this great. There are limitless ways to clear missions and I'm immersed in the strategy. I'm also happy this game has the ability to randomly generate a mission and building. Endless replay ability. I almost feel guilty for getting it at $5.

Full game all at once. I have this on PC as well and wanted it on iPad, too. Before it came to iPad I bought B+C, but I felt a bit jipped by that title and uninstalled it.

Doorkickers is fun, challenging with great replay value. Dozens of maps and scenarios, from fairly easy, to smash the iPad difficult.

This game is truly amazing. It was the first game I downloaded on my iPad pro and I've been playing it for two weeks straight.

This is gonna be a long review, you have been warned. Where do I start... Okay. I'll start with the cons.

1. Nobody makes mods. I'm not sure if this is the developer or the community's fault.

2. Injuries stay between missions in the campaign, which is frankly unrealistic. The only exception to this is the missions when you get stopped by criminals, and those are rare.

3. Bolt cutters are useless. Yes they're only supposed to be used in the city, but I'd rather just pick the lock or Manually breach it. Perhaps if there were more uses I'd be okay with them.

Pros

I'm going to keep this a bit more brief.

Realism. Everything is very realistic in this game, particularly the weapons and combat. Your dudes aren't invincible, they die in a few hits. And if it's the campaign missions they don't come back.

Difficulty. This game is hard, but it has a learning/difficulty curve that feels perfect. It's easy enough to learn the ropes and get pretty familiar with the game before it throws you into the harder missions.

Customization. The biggest part of this are the classes. The classes are the point man, a speedy class with only a pistol who counts on well placed shots to make quick kills on weaker enemies. Just don't get in a fight with some of the tough guys. Then you have the assaulter, this is your average guy. They use primary weapons and medium armor at the cost of speed and stealth. The next class is the breacher. The breacher is the guy who kicks in the reinforced steel door with a shotgun. Nuff said. The next class is the stealth class. They focus on silenced weapons and coordinated takedowns to avoid detection while sporting light armor, so avoid a major fight. The final class I forgot the name of. I'm going to call them the shield guys. These are the slowest and least armed class, using only light one handed guns while hiding behind a riot shield to protect themselves and others.

The next part of customization is gear. You can select a huge number of weapons across all the classes. Then you have many sets of armor, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Finally there are special equipment items. These are utilities, from explosive door charges or flash-bangs to teasers and... My least favorite part of this game, the bolt cutters. They do nothing useful. You open fairly rare gates faster, and they slow you down like an industrial quantity of lead. No joke, it's almost as bad as body armor. Oh and this uses up a valuable slot for things like explosive charges. Next we have the skill tree. Each section of the tree is devoted to another way to play. For example, you can train troops to double tap and follow up with a headshot when using a pistol, nearly guaranteeing a kill. Everything from making shotguns more effective against enemies in cover to close to body stances can be found here. The final part of customization is name and appearance. It's what it sounds like. I particularly like Ghost, Grim, and Spud as call signs. There are also lots of skins for your troops, though this doesn't effect in game sprites.

That brings me to the final pro, adaptability. You can viably make a huge elaborate plan or just kick in a door and hope for the best. No matter what your play style is you can still make it. Unless your play style is loosing.

That concludes my very lengthy review. Thanks for reading me ramble about how great this game and how pointless bold cutters are. I highly recommit you pick it up for just five dollars.

I must say, Doorkickers is one of my favorite games for iOS. It has amazing dynamics and free form tactics, plus very little H.U.D. so your immersion would not be ruined. Any form of CQB (Close Quarter Battle) tactics is unlimited and at your fingertips. From checking corners to street battles, the possibilities are insane.

The way the game is structured is very creative, something that I was impressed of. It's real-time planning allows you to plan ahead of the game or plan on the go. The realism is also beautiful, very similar to CQB scenarios in the real world. From rounding a small corner to clearing a whole conference room, being careful and smart is the key. The choice of equipment and weapons is endless, involving real life equipment and mods to shape the game differently. Overall, I am very addicted to Doorkickers.

I've been waiting for some sort of SWAT game like this for a very long time. I am an avid fan of the art of anything SWAT-like. Doorkickers will always be one of my top games of all time for the iOS.

There I was sitting there like, they don't ever add new content! And then this comes along! MODS ARE AWESOME! With the map mods there is tons of new missions and theres new guns! Keep the mods comin' killhouse and great work!

I absolutely love the new maps, weaponry and gadgets. We just need some new armor... heh.

This game is simply amazing. It's hard and unforgiving a lot of times which makes your wins feel that much better. The mods are amazing as well and I do hope to see them in the future. Only thing I don't like is even if you give a trooper a female avatar it still has a male voice so just maybe get a female voice actor. Other then that it's an amazing game

Here I was forgetting about door kickers after maxing out my rank and getting the best guns and gear for my team the Turtle squad.

But one day during late October 2015 a new updates comes adding downloadable mods to the game which is made by Red Panda (Kudos to you man). Which added more maps and a lot of guns especially non-lethal weapons like pepper spray or a shotgun that fires Bean Bag rounds.

I am quite happy for these new add-ones as I really had nothing else to do on the game other than replay old campaign missions.

How many superlative-packed, thesaurus-bending reviews can one game need? Well this is another one.

"Doorbreakers" is pretty much perfect. As someone who doesn't play first person shooters, this is right in my wheelhouse.

A couple suggestions for the next update:

* Scaleable levels of difficulty

* An "automatic " mode for missions where you have to command more than four troopers.

Even without those elements , it's still my favorite game.

Best game to play for your device,played it in my IOS device (Apple Ipad Air) and I enjoyed it,loved it more than any other offline game in my Ipad!

I then later on played it on Steam (VALVe)

I just never get bored of it.I hope you can add an online mode where a group of 3-6 players can co-op in a map and plan their desired moves at the same time,just like the single mission but with other players playing as (friendlies) or squad mates,I think you will get my point,but just to add more fun to the game,if ever this will be possible,please make sure that players will only be able to give their troops a go signal if others are ready : ). 5/5

This game tickles a spot on my nostalgia that hadn't been touched since the old days of Rainbow Six and the SWAT series. Absolutely love it. If it looks like something you'd enjoy, you'll probably enjoy this. The level design, weapons, classes, skill trees, and satisfying sounds, come together for a tight, visceral, tactical shooter experience.

Love love love this game its a blast and spend a lot time playing (unfortunately it can quite a distraction due to its playability). However, I am missing out on a lot of the other facets of what guys in the force do. I am looking for a lot of

non - lethal options. Specifically I am looking for rubber bullets, tear gas to flush these guys out of buildings, the ability to cut lights out in the building and go in dark. Also weapon attachments like a flashlight, that give you a brief stun on the target. Otherwise I love the game and keep up the good work!

This game is a lot like the old Commandos series, but because of the touchscreen interface, the game becomes very erratic and hard to control. For a game that requires perfect synchronization and timing, this completely misses the mark because of its interface. In no way is this game worth the hefty price tag.

Totally worth the money but one little tip: make it easier to look around when moving because I really need to do that in some urgent situations. Other than that just a great game

The last update is cool I wanted to see the new guns available and the equipment was jacked up and the bolt cutters were up there and half of my secondary weapon and it really annoys me because I've Been saving up 80 stars for the new guns that were coming out when I found out and I just unlocked the shot gun section please fix this bug as soon as possible

The last update for this app caused some serious problems. All of the rendering for the equipment in the roster section is now messed up: in the wrong place, only partially visible, jumbled around, and impossible to do anything with. Once the developers get this fixed, however, this app will go back to being one of the best in the App Store.

Hey, I love the game but now, whenever I play a campaign, I make sure to turn OFF ironman mode, but when I start playing, it says I'm in ironman mode and doesn't let me restart! It's really frustrating because I know for sure its not on iron mode but it still won't let me! Please fix this! It's basically the only game I play, and now it doesn't even work! Help please!

The game is really good! Along with the normal missions their is a random generator that you can use to play over and over again. Each member of your team gets promoted the longer they are used. But when I started up the game to see what the new guns were all of the gun textures were randomized. In some of the slots I would see half of a gun, sometimes it's not even the correct gun that that squad member is using, other times it's the textures of two different guns side by side. And also sometimes the gun doesn't appear at all. This problem isn't only with the guns, it also happens with the equipment. This is only a minor bug though and doesn't affect gameplay so I'm still going to give it five stars

Fun game well designed but gets hard to quickly. Because the levels get hard to fast it makes the game become boring, some of you may love this but I think it's only a $2 app at most

With the new guns and maps they added, the actual photos/textures of the weapons and tools are all glitched up. (iPad Mini)

REGARDLESS, 4 Stars, best strategy game on the app store. They have nearly a dozen pages of single missions to do, as well as countless randomly generated missions that you could use to entertain yourself after completing everything else. For those looking for a big challenge, the campaign mode offers a difficult but rewarding series of missions.

Absolutely love it. Played it on my friends PC and was instantly hooked. I'm so glad you guys made a version for the iPad. My only issue so far is that when you try to rescue a VIP he will not follow you after you get close to him, ipso facto I can't finish one of the campaigns. Other than that it's great!

I absolutely love this game. It reminds me of the classic PC game SWAT 2 by Sierra. Good times. I love the random level generator and the weapons and load outs seem very detailed. I feel like I will never be able to keep a single soldier alive for more than a few mission though, sadly. I must be going too fast.

I bought the PC version of Doorkickers early last year when it was still an open beta on Steam. Now that it's on iOS, I gladly paid another $5 to support a great developer and have access to this stellar title on the go. Thankfully it stays true to its hardcore roots. Don't buy it if you're an action junkie, it's very unlikely that Killhouse plans on ever dumbing it down for CoD kids.

This game is very tactical I like it the tests are smart and I'm really into swatted police and stuff if you're into rainbow succeeds and stuff like that this is your game and if you're a tactical gamer this is also your game so it's a win-win I am very addicted to this game. There are all kinds of options you have and that's what makes it fun .the game gives you different options that doesn't lock you into one thing you have the freedom on how to set up what you want. And that's what makes it fun

This game is awesome I love it! But don't stop now give more new things for this game like where you go through many houses and save civilians, maybe more weapons... I would love it if you make a game mode where our swat team must stay inside and protect the civilians or evidence. Please work with this ideas and thanks :)

This game is great! I can't stop playing it. The only reason why i four starred is because the mission generator only has so many levels to generate, so i think you should add more missions for mission generator, and the campaigns are a little short, make them longer!

I absolutely love this game and can't wait till the recent update to come out. And I think a future update should be a apocalypse mode. Where you gotta go through houses and stuff and save civilians..... But also more armor and guns. And more different classes like how's there stealth assault shield and pointmen well there should be other classes. Plzzz take to consideration.

No crashes on my IPad Air 1 so far. Great experience, loving the single missions, awesome way to teach gaming mechanics. I haven't even gotten into the campaign yet. Your squad also levels up, kind of an x-com vibe in that regard. Dev has also committed in the next 3 weeks to updating the iPad version with a level editor and new levels! This is being sold cheap for the quality of gaming and value you're getting. Must buy for strategy and action lovers.

Guys, this isn't call of duty, you have to think and use tactics, running and gunning in this game will get your guys killed. Yes the game encourages speed with the stars rating, but if you want to do it right, take your time, camera rooms, open door, flash bang it, then assault it, and make sure someone is covering your six, because tangos will sneak up behind you. Remember, rooms may have multiple doors or openings, just because you cleared the room, don't just blindly go through, if you push to far you may expose your guys to bad angle from another opening and they will get shot. Reminds me a lot of the old Rainbow Six games like Rogue Spear. Remember, watch your angles and stay out of the fatal funnel! Well done developers. Best yet, no freaking pay walls or timers.

So, I normally don't buy pic ports of games on mobile devices do to them not being as good. I had mixed feelings about the doorkickers but I really needed a new game to try on my new iPad. Honestly the game is a little bit difficult to begin with but after that the game is great. it's just like the pic port and it is a lot of fun.

This is my dream game, first of all it's perfectly challenging, Second it has so many options for squad customization that fits every play style!

The Guns are realistic, it runs smoothly, it doesn't crash, and theres more to the missions than shooting, collecting evidence, arresting, and hostage rescue, and it has great replay value.

If your on the ropes about buying this game, get it.

This game is great, it has so much content it's amazing. If it can do what Democracy 3, FTL: Faster than Light, and Papers, Please did, which are all perfect ports, and stay away from In-App Purchases than it could easily be the best swat/tactical game on the App Store.

It is impossible to play this game if you hold iPad with your hands. The pause button is on the right upper most corner of the screen. I think put it at middle would be much better.

Otherwise a great game.

This game is absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough good things about it. The satisfaction of finally pulling off a difficult mission, with all your team members having different tasks but working as a team is wonderful.

I think you should add a game type however, it should be survival, obviously you would survive as long as possible against waves of enemies... Just a suggestion!

It crashes way to often but really any other complaints is bogus the game is really fun and hard people might say it's really hard but really that's a good type of strategy I miss those good strategy games like endwar (I don't care about the short story) and this is one of the best I hope you make a (free) sequel or even prequel like how did those gangs break in so you can play as those game members or even prevent the swat team from getting the hostage even though that can be hard but that's ok if it isn't there one of the best games in a long time you gave me hope that maybe these amateurs learn a real strategy game that's all 👍👍👍

Just got this yesterday and boy did it make my top 3 favorite iOS games quick. As soon as I figured out how to play I fell in love with this game. I love the mechanics and the characters and everything about it. The animation is flawless and everything. The only thing(s) that could make this better is if when someone died in campaign and you didn't complete the campaign they don't die. This happened with my two most used characters and I was really mad because I spent time on them and then they died. I also think you should be able to buy stars for cheap. Like 30 for 0.99 or 200 for 2.99. Another then that I love this game, totally worth the money.

This game is outstanding! To start, the controls are perfect for the iPad. Everything is so easy to do and feels like it was designed for tablets.

Next, it truly is endless hours of fun. There is a map generator built right into it. The generator even offers great control over it. Like how difficult, the map size, and so much more!

And lastly, the price is perfect. I have no regards about this game.

Amazing! I'm so addicted to this game, and I loved the PC version. It is very cool to strategically find the cartel members or terrorists, and either silently, or forcefully, kill them all. The weapons are called by their real names, which is nice because many other games give real guns wierd names. Best game I have played in a long time!

Big fan of this game on the PC. This dev has an excellent track record on quality and mechanics with me. This iPad version is great. The controls are well adapted and the graphics look identical. Very highly recommended.

I have been waiting for this since late March, ever since I heard it was coming to iPad in all its glory.

Huge fan on PC super psyched its on iPad. Portability is huge, and so is such an awesome strategy game.

So often you get watered down "games" on the AppStore. This is a full fledged awesome experience. If you like true games on the iPad this is a must buy.
