RH won’t let you close out your accounts rn or sell free stock they force on you, won’t let you buy *certain* stocks right now and will manipulate the free market so you can’t actually participate.
Use a different brokerage. There’s a painful irony in an app called “robinhood”, but it’s not the Rick they’re stealing from. It’s despicable.

Really terrible. Do yourself a favor and go with a reputable, full service broker. Robinhood is “free” for a reason, and there’s no such thing as a free lunch.
After they recently blocked purchases of stocks at will (yet allowed selling to continue), everyone can see what Robinhood is about.

There is no customer support line available to reach a real person. When I submitted a request for help on an issue they emailed me back an automated email with the same fix-it-yourself links days after they sold my stocks and shut down my account. I hope the SEC shuts you down.

I understand investing is risky, but they cost me money from their actions. I cannot in good faith continue to use this app. Much better options are out there!

They offered two free stocks but after much communication only gave one. Takes several weeks to get your money out and close account. They won’t even let you take the money out for that free stock so it’s not even yours. Also they can close the buying of a stock at any time but continue allowing selling to tank the stock artificially which is criminal in my mind. Otherwise it’s great...

Due to the actions that Robinhood decided to take during the GME short I no longer have any trust in them as an investing app. Perception is often reality and this reality was that Robinhood blocked retail investors in favor of corporate entities that made a bet and lost. Rather than let the free market take its course they intervened and helped rank the price of stocks to them out. I will be taking my money elsewhere.

This is absolutely the most garbage app ever. I bought doge coin for $100. The next day I cashed it out by selling it. It went up to $275 and it shows in my statements that I sold it however Robinhood stole $100 of it and paid me $175. I emailed their support 3 times and it’s been 8 days now and I haven’t heard no response from them. Total ignorant thieves. Thank god I didn’t invest in more companies using their app. I transferred my money out from their app and as soon as it goes to my account, I’m uninstalling the app. Robinhood imagine if we took ur paycheck and ignored u, how would u feel? People have to make a living and taking advantage of them during a pandemic is low low, but guess what? All types of people are suing u and u will soon go out of business :)
