Easily time Labor Contractions with this elegant and extremely user friendly app.
A simple one-button interface to start and stop your Contraction timer. It clearly lists the duration of each of your contractions, as well as the interval between each contraction.
Also extremely useful for any Doula in assisting expecting mothers at full term during labor and childbirth. The delivery of a newborn baby is extremely intense, and Contraction Timer will help any Doula to time a pregnant womans contractions and deliver their baby.
You just have to tap a single button to start the timer, then tap any part of the screen to stop the timer. Contraction Timer app will take care of the rest! The app is designed to keep track of the times, durations and frequency of the entire labor period.
Easily record the intensity of a contraction with our simple slider during the contraction or when adding/editing a contraction. Great visual cues for the intensity of each contraction that allows you to easily see the intensity of your contractions over time.
Notes can also be added to each contraction and are displayed alongside your contraction timings for quick recollection of the important aspects of each contraction.
Reports and graphs for displaying averages and trends over time will be coming soon. These graphs will show if your contractions are increasing or decreasing over time, as well as allows you to decide when you should go to the hospital or birthing center.
Contraction Timer remembers all data and whether you were in the middle of a contraction or not between launches, so you can jump back and forth between this and any another app to distract you during and between contractions.

good tool to track contractions
Very easy to use, can track the start time, duration, frequency and the intensity. Have a simple aggregated view of all the contractions, avg duration and frequency for the last 5,10,20 contractions.

Better than the rest
Currently in labor. Other apps were making me MAD! This is the easiest and best. I deleted the others. It allows you to add and edit contractions and it's very user friendly. Use this one.

Quick and easy to track
I have a 5y and 2yo and glad I caught this app rather than tracking on the other app I was using. It's easy to track and I tend to forget to stop contractions- and this app allows you to edit the duration. It's easy to see progression and it's nice that you can adjust the severity of the contraction as well. I rate this contraction app an A!

Simple to use!
I'm using it now to time my contractions (7.5 mins apart and lasting about 70 secs and mild) and love the simplicity of it. If you need to change some data after the fact you can. Now I just hope these contractions keep up so I can finally meet baby!! Oh, oh here comes another one, can't talk, gtg.....

Exactly What I Needed
Ability to start and stop timer easily. Keeps track of when contractions started, how long they lasted, and how long since last contraction. Also easy to edit if you forget to stop the timer, and ability to delete contractions which is great for false alarms or incorrect times.
Only thing I have noticed is sometimes when I open the app, the timer has been going on for many hours. But perhaps that is user error in not turning it off correctly. :)

Love the simplicity
Easy to use. Love that I can rate the intensity of my contractions. If I exit out of the app it opens back up right away. No delay unlike some of the other apps out there.

Better than expected
It's a free app. There were bound to be at least a few little problems. But, I was pleasantly surprised.
It was Super Easy to figure out! My client was in labor, the midwife wanted me to time CTX and get back to her, and I hadn't gotten an app. I quickly did a search and grabbed the first one that was free.
I'm very happy, especially since it's so *user friendly* and it's easy to quickly click a button, and then get to pressing on my client's back, then press another button to stop the timer.
I love that I can add an extra CTX if I forgot to start timing one.
I love that I can change a time, especially if I forgot to stop the time.
I love that I can add a note to every CTX.
I'd recommend the app, and would even consider buying it.

This app is great! As a birth doula I use contractions constantly, super easy to use, you can adjust times and even rate the intensity of the contractions. It also gives you the averages of length and time between contractions. The best contraction monitoring app I've found thus far.

Does just what you need it to
This app is simple and perfect. You tap when the contractions start, set the intensity, and tap again when they stop. It even tells you how long between each.

Serves its purpose!
I originally downloaded two different contraction timer apps. I used the other free one first only to find that you could not edit an accidental press of a contraction or adjust any settings. So I quickly deleted that one and used this one with my daughter born a few days ago. Works perfectly and you have the option to adjust settings and edit contractions. The averages and charts are easy to read too! Also easy to start a contraction when you are in actual LABOR!!!

Good, not great
PROS: Simple and easy to use. No in-app purchases from what I can tell. No obnoxious adds (just a few "download our affiliate app" banners and a "rate us" banner).
CONS: wish it would prompt you to rate the intensity of each contraction after stopping the timer instead of having to go in and manually set it. Also, when editing settings for a contraction, the delete button is big and at the bottom but the save button is small and at the top. I almost pushed the delete button the first few times because it is more prominent.

Keeps track of time!
I had previously been using a different contraction timer app but it did not have time stamps on each contraction which had me stumped when my midwife asked what time my contractions started. This app has a time stamp on each contraction do I don't have to worry about not knowing the future.
