I love Skillshare! It's great to learn from and see the creative process of industry professionals and leaders.

The classes so far have been very helpful as I'm a beginner in knitting! I successfully completed my first project and am looking forward to many more. I can't wait to try out other classes. Plus you can't beat the price!

2. Need to be able to post Class progress, final project & rate instructors from the application as well

3. Finally** I want to be able to print worksheets for the class from my phone

An intuitive app that is great for learning new skills! The variety of courses keeps me coming back. Also look for their premium trial!

I started with the free trial and loved it so much I'll keep renewing! Art, cooking so many cool videos

It's really nice being able to learn from very talented and experienced individuals. I adore watching their tutorials and learning essential skills in a specific area such as graphics design or watercolor. There is just so much you can learn. The downside is software or applications or tools. Those are the things needed in order to improve your skill sets. It is self paced as well.

Love this service but classes are not downloading. Until that is resolved, I can't give a higher rating for an app that does not do what it advertises.

I'm enjoying the classes I've taken, however in my list of classes it doesn't show which ones I've completed and which ones need to be completed. Also in the list of "continue watching" it's showing classes I have completed.

I'm addicted to this app, BUT ITS CRASHING! I can't even open it! I can only get to my classes by going online! And, here's the kicker: the classes I save online don't match what I save on the app! Come on people! Please get it together, I want my classes! I need my classes! It's like getting somebody hooked on crack and taking the supply away!

If you have the ambition to learn new skills and perfect your craft, skill share is perfect. Plenty of classes from different perspectives!

I love the concept of Skillshare and so far I have loved every single class I've taken. Unfortunately I use my phone for a lot of these classes and the app is just not up to scruff. I haven't once been able to post a comment in discussions (I've deleted, redownloaded and updated to no improvement) or interact with the website much other than to watch the videos and it seems like it has a lot to offer!!

Improve upon your website/app/user interface and you are golden!! I love the classes and the teachers and the entire concept! I am learning a ton and feeling super inspired. I just want to interact w my teachers and fellow students👍😉

I will admit that I am addicted to Skillshare. I've learned watercolor, surface pattern design in both PhotoShop and Illustrator, brush lettering and much more. Even learned to dosing and design fabric for sale on Spoonflower.

Great UX/UA design. Inexpensive way to level up complicated tech skills.

If you're curious about artistic software programs, there are good classes available from lots of teachers.

Super helpful when learning a new skill & the convenience makes it enjoyable!

Audio moves forward and video keeps freezing which is not good if someone is demonstrating a technique.

Teaches you skills no matter if you're a beginner or advanced. Helps for your trait no matter what it may be or simply if you have a hobby! A lot of categories. Has truly helped me!

Had to cancel my checking account to get them out of my debit card. Look at it for an hour and decided it wasn't for me but they would not cancel and kept charging me month after month on the FREE account $11.95 like clockwork.

The requirement for a credit card for a free trial? Revolting. If it were actually a good app, it wouldn't need to scam money by testing your memory on cancellation.

Premium unlocks premium classes, but that's all there is, from what I've seen. It's a waste of storage.

I can't honestly say that this app has improved my photography. I was always interested but now my friends are actually telling me my pictures are professional quality! Learn something everyday- this app will help.

It advertises free classes but not much offered unless you get premium membership. There is a cost for premium.

I live in a rural area without much access to workshops and adult learning courses (other than the local 4H and quilting classes)

I have learned so much in so many different areas with this app.

Skillshare has elevated My 11 year old daughter's art in ways that would have cost 100s of dollars in classes and travel otherwise.

The teachers are passionate and full of great information.

I love learning new things and am always asking "how can I do....." and the answer is always on SKILLSHARE!

I found out about this app through a LinkedIn article and decided to try it out. I have used Lydia.com to learn skills in the past but what really separates Skillshare from Lydia is that the videos are crispier and just grab my attention more. I would recommend this app for people specifically college students looking to gain new skills! Plus the first month is free! What do you have to lose?

I've been using this app for several months and once they got the kinks worked out it is great. Not all features of the web site work in the mobile app., though.

I've taken several classes and am enrolled in more. I may not have time to finish them all before my subscription is up but I will prolly sign up again.

Most classes are great with awesome instructors, great lessons and quality production, some are not so good, bad lighting, sound, unclear speech, etc. I just toss the ones I can't use and enjoy the score of other great classes.

Skillshare has been by far my favorite app for learning design. You get more out of learning the real techniques from the artist then you would just learning the software. I love the interactivity and the community build within this app. I recommend this to any beginning, aspiring, career shifting or long time professional to pick up. You can always learn something brand new or just sharpen up on certain skill. It's well worth the investment. Cheers.

I've watched quite a few videos over the course of many weeks and I still love this learning program. I like that a lot of the courses are short (there are also more in-depth ones, too) and I also like the occasional suggestions for new classes. There's a lot of variety. It's really easy to enroll in classes and they're really enjoyable.

Provides no accessibility options for the Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Videos are the sole medium of teaching on here, and they cannot be captioned.

It good to start learning skill in this website and it helpfuls in the future career.

I will never understand why certain companies such as skillshare assume that making it impossible for people to suspend their paid subscription is somehow a good idea.

Thank you skillshare for trying to convince me by twisting my arm. Now I'm not just suspending, I'm cancelling it all together and deleting my profile.

PS - the app is useless.

The download option for Premium members does not work. You can toggle it all you want but nothing happens.

Also, please bring back the enroll/unenroll option.

I've been using Skillshare for a few months as a premium member and love it, but the app has been crashing on me lately. Please fix it for 5 stars!

This app is great!!! Just one suggestion, can you please come up with a way to organize saved classes in groups, lists or collections. For some one like me to likes to save classes for future reference it would make it so much easier to find within my own list.

I must admit that I have only taken one class so far from this skills training provider.

Nevertheless, I was very impressed by the one course that I have taken. The instructor's enthusiasm and knowledge shows through in the videos.

So far, I have only positive things to say about this App! I highly recommend that you at least give it a try.

There needs to be a way to upload projects through the app. If you're taking away how to mark a class as complete then at least give that feature.

But overall - great way to stay on top of learning new things on the go!

I'm loving skillshare! It's an amazing resource for learning a variety of new skills. There are so many options for everyone. I haven't posted my own class yet but love the idea that I can in the future. Thank you!

Skillshare is a great source for learning. I just wish this app could let you change the video speed like on the Skillshare website.

I started using Skill Share this week. It is very organized and I'm already ready to start using my new skills!

I'm a premium member but they also have some free classes available. Using the app, I used to be able to enroll in classes and see them show up under the "Enrolled" classes section. Then after finishing the class I could mark it as "complete" and it would be removed from the Enrolled section. Seems obvious right? They took all that out. Now you just have "Saved" classes section on the app, and I have over 100 classes saved which makes it really hard to find the ones I'm currently taking. You can no longer "enroll" in a class or mark it as done. So now when I start watching classes using the app, all my progress is lost. I go back to the class after having watched several lessons and all progress is gone. The only classes that show up in the "continue watching" section now are classes that I had enrolled in before this last update and now I can't I unenroll using the app so they will forever be there unless I use the actual website to mark them as complete. I contacted their customer service, assuming it was just user error. But nope, they basically said that's a feature not a bug! That's how it's supposed to work now ? He also mentioned a button that was no longer there lol. The whole app doesn't really work anymore and in addition to this I've seen multiple other bugs. Much easier to use the website, where all the features are still there (at least for now).

the ideas and lessons given on Skillshare are influential and really what I've been looking for as an amateur photographer.

It's packed with information and experience on hundreds of subjects that can be beneficial to anyone seeking a new hobby, starting a new business, or looking to experience new skills.

I'm a web design student. Skillshare has helped tremendously with helping me brush up and advance my skills.

This has increased my creative output by 100%. I have many interests but am too busy to enroll in online classes. The classes offered are interesting, fun, and best of all, concise! I can totally justify 30-60 min of my time to learn or improve on my drawing, writing, and music.

Hey y'all this app had been introduced to me by a dear friend and I love it! Sometime I sit around pondering my style, brand and what makes my work different etc and by watching these videos and doing the exercises I've been zoning in on what my style is and what emotions are extracted from my work. Watching these classes I've been able to finesse what I'm doing with the skills I already have and think a bit differently on creating the brand I want to become. I am on my 30 day free trial and have been in the zone with this app and have been telling everyone I encounter about it. I am so grateful for the knowledge that these teachers are sharing with me/us!

I used to love original Skillshare classes! I am sorry that you shortened the classes, it feels as a lot of "junkier" classes came along! Everybody is now able to shoot short videos classes. It feels that there is no quality control of the content from the side of Skillshare

But this mobile app needs improvements. You cannot get to the materials supplied by teachers from app, videos are sometimes choppy and Apple TV is NOT working well. It skips lessons and there is no Apple TV icon on the video. I wrote to tech support about skipping videos and never got answer on my email!

I love skillshare, but this app needs some work. It doesn't sync well with what you watch on desktop site and the auto rotation for videos is faked. This may seem minor but this is a tutorial service. I'd like to be able to airplay the videos to my tv whilst using my laptop to follow along. But instead I get a sideways video through airplay. And have to resort to watching the videos full screen on my laptop. Since following mouse clicks in screen captures video is pretty much impossible on an iPhone screen.

No complaints, I watch my available offline classes when I'm on the train or on a trip! Wish there was a note taking feature during the video. I like the full screen access but wish there was a half screen available for portrait viewing. Great app!

As far iOS and macOS versions the app works well. The content very good so far. However, the tvOS is completely inoperable when it comes to starting or playing any course. I purchased a membership and intend on fully utilizing on my TV primarily. Presently one may only search courses and save. However, unfortunate 2 stars are attributed to the TvOS being unable to actually play the content. I'm having to airplay thus using two devices and decreasing bandwidth both of which shouldn't be necessary. Please update and correct as it should be cohesive and handoff in all versions of OS. THANK YOU!

I really love the wonderful classes and I've learned a lot so far! The content is engaging and really gives some great insight into different ways of doing things.

On the other hand, the app is so glitchy and frustrating! It crashes when you browse for too long and the videos freeze up so I have to reload them sometimes. 😥 I would also love to see where you can actually comment and post projects from the app. It's hard to call yourselves skill"share" if you can't actually share with others in your classes. 🙄

For a set monthly fee of under $20 you can take as many classes as you want. A buffet of curated content. Choose the well-rated ones and you'll love Skillshare.

They keep innovating, even implemented a suggestion I offered re: making it easier to quickly get back to the course one's been watching/listening to.

I have gaps in my knowledge base here and there or need more practice doing different things. Skillshare has provided that place for me to get challenging but fun inspiration on many topics. The people sharing their skills are inspiring, knowledgeable and fun! The only problem is not having as much time as I'd like to have to take as many classes as I find interesting.

I have enjoyed, benefited, and gathered information from all of the classes that I have taken. Also, I was impressed that Skillshare sent me a personal message and asked me to be a part of the teach challenge. I had been thinking about teaching for years online. So I figured why not jump in now.

Right now I am in the beginning stages of creating my first class.

There is only one concern that I have. I did not receive credit for classes I took with my iPhone and Nextbook tablet. I just acquired an iPad2 and for some reason the classes that I took didn't register as completed on my iPad.

I have taken a few classes so far and for the most part I have enjoyed and learned from them. As you will find in any learning environment some teachers are much better than others. I have noticed that I have learned from the ones whose style I have not been impressed with. I have still learned some important things even from those whose style I have not particularly like. While a good teacher improves learning sometimes the material will overcome the teachers presentation skills.

The one thing that needs to be done with SkillShare is a little more curating of whether a class is still relevant. I've sign-up for one or two only to find out that the material is so out of date that it should no longer be offered. I don't know if that's up to SkillShare or the authors to do that curating!

Even with the few shortcomings I would very much recommend this as a learning site.

I'd give the membership 5 stars, but the app itself is missing lots of functionality. You can't see any of the class notes and extra information that teachers leave, which can be a pretty important part of some classes. Also you can't upload your projects to the gallery or comment on other people's projects. Basically it's fine for watching videos, but seriously lacking if you actually want to get involved, which is the whole point of Skillshare.

It's the best subscription service I have and new classes are added every single day. When I first signed up, I got a deal that was for $.99 per month, for the first 3 months and $9.99 after. I thought that was a little more than I wanted to pay for classes, but I can't ever see myself not having a Skillshare membership now. I've learned so much!

I have really enjoyed Skillshare. They offer a huge variety of classes on varied topics, and continually add more. Nearly all the instructors present their material in a professional, organized manner, and often it's a subject that you may not be able to find a good video for elsewhere. Many of the classes are short, so in a 30 minute time span you can learn a new skill. Some of the classes are much more comprehensive. Good balance and good blend.

A couple of your wonderful teachers have lead me to a field change in my career. I am so inspired, so grateful and happy to have teachers on SkillShare to learn from. I really enjoy the short format videos even though i know not all videos are short. I can't explain how grateful and happy I am to know SkillShare exist.

One thing i would suggest is to make classes available for purchase. I took many great classes and would love to have them for myself.

I am so addicted to Skillshare it's ridiculous. Right now I'm enrolled in 30 classes.....and I find more skills I want to learn every day! The app makes it so easy to learn on the go. I am also a teacher on Skillshare so one thing that would be awesome is if we could access the classes we teach and also upload projects and start discussions from the app. :)

Usually after the kids go to bed, my hubby and I collapse on the couch and mindlessly watch tv. Not anymore! We are learning new skills - sometimes together, sometimes separately. He loves the photography workshops, I love the graphic design classes. Tons of info token down into easy to digest video segments. App works like a charm, and if something is amiss, customer service is prompt and friendly. Would give it 10 stars if I could!

I have really enjoyed the variety of classes offered on Skillshare. It is easy when using the app to join a class at anytime. Or you can see classes that you might want and save them for later if you already have classes keeping you busy. Super easy to use with classes broken down into multiple videos.

I did a 3 month trial (.99 cents a month) to test the waters. I wanted to see if by the end of 3 months I still had something else I was interested in Skillshare... Come to find out I still have 10+ classes saved that I'm dying to take! I have started to use Skillshare everyday... So it was a no brainier to me to get the annual subscription. Beyond impressed! Great job guys! Keep the great content up!

Love the program. Tons a of short videos I was actually expecting some of them to be longer. But the ability to fly through a lesson quickly is kinda encouraging. I can just put my headphones in and listen like a podcast which is nice too.

I do wish there was a Chromecast playability and the option to speed the playback up. Some of the teachers talk so slowly, it makes me want to throw my phone across the room just to walk over, pick it up and then be at a spot that I want to hear.

Worth a download.

I signed up for the free trial and cancelled 2 week into the trial. I cancelled via email, and received a nice email saying my account was cancelled. However, the Apple subscription service continues to bill. Skillshare customer service says they have no control over Apples billing, so you need to ensure you actually stop your subscription via Apple as well. I wish they mentioned that in their cancellation acknowledgement email.

Apple was able to cancel and refunded my 9.99, but the whole rigamarole was more cumbersome than it needed to be.

While I had the app, it worked flawlessly, so 5 stars for that. 1 star for the cancellation process.

This app functions well and allows you to watch Skillshare classes on your mobile device....and that's it. You can't add notes to the videos, you can't upload pictures to your projects - it's simply a mobile video viewer. Which is fine if that's all you want to do. But considering the website doesn't work well on mobile devices, you're always stuck fiddling with a wonky website or heading back to your desktop. It works well but it could be so much more.

I just love that this is a thing. There are so many fruitless ways to spend our free time and learning new skills is almost always expensive, inconvenient and time consuming.

With Skillshare, I am able to learn new things in small increments of time and for a price that is frankly ridiculous (but in a good way, obviously)!

As a 10yr advertising and design creative professional, Skillshare has been my favorite asset. It is the perfect way to feed my curious mind and stay current on what others are doing. I learn best and am inspired most when I can "see behind the curtain". And the topics are endless! The instructors are amazing and the production quality of the videos is great. Well worth the money.

I have taken lots of Skillshare classes taught by a variety of different people and I'm super impressed with the quality and clear teaching style that each one exhibits. For me, it's ideal to be able to learn at my own pace and on my own schedule. The photoshop, illustrator and hand lettering classes have set me up for success in my art biz. This small investment in my learning has been TOTALLY worth the $$!

Crashes nonstop. Great idea, I'm sure this will be great eventually. Just not worth $10/mo. I can't even use it since it crashes so much, and now I can't even cancel the membership. Upon signup, app says auto renewal must be turned off in settings or 30 day trial will end and a subscription fee will be charged. There is no option to do this in the iOS settings for the app or within the app's settings. Customer support feature brings up message window with the "To:" field blank so I can't actually contact support. How do I turn off auto renewal?

We all need to keep learning daily & this app & the pc website can help with that tremendously. Bite sized audio/video clips make it easy to digest a lot of courses in a fast way. On average they only run from 3-8 minutes long for each lesson & the entire course is usually from 20mins-1:45, great for lunch hours or standing in lines. Also, the courses are all relevant to present day skill sets needed in virtually any business today. LOVE IT👍🏻

I don't have a personal laptop so being able to access the courses through my iPhone is awesome! Tons of cool creative classes to choose from and I'm extremely happy with the quality of the content for a majority of the videos. I'm still trying to figure out how 'offline access' works, but I'm sure I'll figure it out/test it out soon and if I hit a wall, Ill just contact support :P Great app! : )

I am so happy to be able to learn from the best in their industries. It's so easy and fun, I have always had a problem with the educational system and truly believe this is the future for my generation and the ones to come because it gives you what you need when you need at the click of the mouse.

My passion is fashion and style and cinema, I have started a writing course which I finish and want to upload my project but the only thing I haven't been able to figure out is where is the button for me to upload it for the teacher to see it.

I find that the classes are consistent with their ratings, full of relevant information, all are very high quality and professional (again check the rating), and if you are simply an enthusiast or wanting to tweak your skills without paying for more college, you will find most anything you need here, it is well worth it.

I really enjoy the SkillShare app. There are many classes, and the app makes it easy to search, find, and save classes. I've watched several classes in the app, and it's always easy to navigate back to a previous moment to watch something again, or to pick up where I left off. All in all, it's a great app that makes the most of the SkillShare concept.

I really like this app because it allows me to take and experience classes that I wouldn't have at a normal school. The teachers are great and normal daily life people. So it's not your average "HS teacher" what I would really like is to have more variety of classes , like art or drama. I chose mainly photography because it's an interest of mine, but when I was showing this to a friend she wasn't quite impressed because it didn't have HER interest which was theater . But hey other than that, it's a great app and I love it.

I was so excited when I first found and started exploring this app. The possibilities seemed endless and I had finally found a solution to the times I feel myself itching to learn a new skill but not knowing how to go about it. Then I realized that only a handful of the classes are free. At $9.99 a month, I get that you can take unlimited classes which is hard to put a price on. But if you have a full-time job and other obligations, you're probably only conquering one class at a time and taking a while to do it. Why not give the non-paying members access to every class, but limit the number, just one or two a month, or only 10 hrs of instruction per month or something. If that happened, I'd give this app 10 stars.

My video pictures keep freezing while the audio continues. This is really annoying because I'm looking at photography/interior design and visual tutorials that I need to watch & not just listen. I have to restart the entire segment and on my computer it won't let me fast forward to where I last watched I have to start from the beginning. Sometimes I end up watching the same thing 4 or 5 times. The tutorials themselves are amazing...when I can actually watch them!

Skill share has been by far one of the most helpful and one of the best websites I have come across for information on anything small business related and I will keep continuing to use it however one thing that has kept me from upgrading is the fact that the website as well as the app is too glitchy in the sense that when a button like "enroll" "upgrade" or when it begins to play, it becomes unresponsive. If you guys have a bug you need to find it quickly because as amazing as your product is, this annoying problem might shoo away students who are already part of your growing community. Best of luck. Skillshare is a great app with exceptional contributors. I am enjoying learning about my interests from professionals who spell it out in a way that's understandable to a novice. And every video is filmed beautifully.

The only complaint I have is when I get my weekly Skillshare email with suggested classes, the links take me to the website where I'm forced to log in - it would be better if it would directly open that class in the app, so I could start watching immediately.

I've been a working freelancer for 29 years and have always loved learning new techniques and improving my skills. I'm a graduate student, but I have absolutely love the classes on Skillshare. Having access to watch class videos through the app has been incredibly helpful as I'm often out and have time in between meetings. I encourage anyone who is serious about learning new skills from working professionals to take advantage of this huge resource.

This app is by far one of the most helpful applications for learning new crafts by professionals through class like curriculums. Everything from Music, Art, Photography, Business, what ever it is you're into they have a class taught by professionals. The fact that the developers were able to get iconic individuals to share their knowledge with the public is amazing. It gives you a very personal feel and, depending on the person, can be very motivating. I've taken a lot away from Skillshare and it's classes. I highly recommend this app.

I have been using Skillshare when they were only a website. To have this as an app is awesome, but to have it available online is even greater. It doesn't have the worksheets available which is something I wish I could have also. The other thing that they hopefully fix is the downloading of the classes. Some of them freeze and it never seems to finish no after how any times I restart it. I still like where they're going with this. Always room for upgrades. Keep it up!!!

I absolutely love Skillshare; I've been taking classes on their platform for about 2 years, and became a member as soon as they started offering monthly memberships. So when they announced an app, I was beyond excited, but unfortunately I cannot log in with email or through Facebook. I was looking forward to being able to take classes on the go, but haven't been able to access any of the courses because the app won't let me log in. Please fix this bug, we all love Skillshare and want to take advantage of our memberships!

Skillshare has a great app on their hands for all members to watch lessons wherever they are. There is a bit of a delay between when the app syncs your course progress with what you've watched from the website directly, but that's small potatoes. I do wish that I could search courses through the app -- it seems like for now, you can only watch lessons from courses that are either featured in the app, or that you are currently enrolled in. Thanks Skillshare!

Love the app and the conch behind Skillshare. Love how affordable it is too but unfortunately I found the photography classes to be lackluster and missing something. I admire the authors for putting stuff out there, but I don't know that I would agree with the description of the instructors being professionals. Perhaps I am spoiled, having watched many, many KelbyOne videos and CreativeLive classes (the latter of which is completely free for unlimited watching btw) both of which have significantly higher production value.

This allows you to take your joined classes and trending skills on a mobile level that I enjoy and feel more flexible with the classes and for me personally i can keep my computer screen free to follow along my lessons if I choose

My only 2 problems with this so far is I cannot search the classes skillshare actually offers only see what they provide as trending and recently added. Second, the video almost take a little over a minute to start on either LTE or my home wifi- which is not exactly the best home speed but I average 25mbps- I think that's more than enough to catch a buffer if that's even what it's doing. Aside from that the biased side of me wants to give this app a 4 out of 5 put the search function then it would be 5 for me.
