International Prefix
I’m giving this app 4 stars because it’s not flawless, but it is an excellent tool.
I needed to add international prefixes to my phone numbers. The app processed approximately 1400+ contacts with only one small mistake, which was simple to fix.
Back up your contacts first of course first. If you use a Mac (or course you do), open contacts app, then > file menu > export > contacts archive > save.

Great app for spotting dupe info inside a contact itself
I use fullcontact to sync on all devices and didnt think this would find anything to change but it actually did!

Awesome and efficient, highly recommended.
If you want to do batch changes to your contacts this is the app to use. I wanted to add a "+1" to hundreds of my contacts (some area codes are merging in July and you'll be forced to use a +1 apparently) and this was able to do it with its "Internalization" feature, changing almost 2000 contacts in a matter of seconds. Needless to say it saved me a TON of time, well worth the $2 spent. Also, it seemed to differentiate between US phone numbers and international ones.
They also had a bug were the app would crash after doing a "search and replace". I contacted the developers and they fixed it in a matter of a couple of days and pushed the new version out which fixed the problem. They also kept in touch with me letting me know they were working on it and when they finalized it. So also great customer service.

this contacts app does find duplicates in varius fields, finding like addresses, last name, first name, how ever some contacts with middle name and other phone numbers would be useful too, to be able to have some options for when merging contacts or which one was edited first.

Works like a charm
Used this to consolidate my contacts into iCloud and to make sure all contacts were in international format. After about 10min of clicking around and verifying everything, all my 600+ contacts were cleaned up, and synced to iCloud.

Works as advertised
If your phone has duplicate contacts and it would be cumbersome to identify and remove or combine duplicates, this is the tool for you. I have 13,000 contacts from my combined Gmail, Facebook, Outlook and Yahoo email accounts on my iPhone 6S. Optimizer identified and allowed me to easily identify and delete duplicate contacts. Optimizer also cleaned up and normalized all of the contacts' phone numbers by identifying unneeded extra characters that could be deleted with no problems. A very valuable tool in my opinion.

Superficial to the point of being useless
I think the most disturbing part of this application as there's no settings function. For example when you start the app it starts looking for duplicates. If you have a lot of it can take a minute or so. However there's no way to shut this off. Thus even though I have no duplicates on my phone it'll start going to that search every single time I open it.
Another example. The application has a simplify phone numbers function. It works if the phone number is rather straightforward (removing parentheses and periods and dashes). However what if you have a phone number like this 555.333.3333x226 ? The App will just remove the x and you will lose the extension. In a perfect world it would replace it with the pause character.
One of the most useful tools apps like this have for finding duplicates is looking for duplicate phone numbers. However 123.456.7890 is not a duplicate of 123-456-7890
If somebody could understand that you got to have a tool to clean up the phone numbers first before you can get the duplicates then you have something
