Unhappy in Nevada
Used to love it but since the last update I’m not able to read anything. I touch something to read it and it tells me your request cannot process at this time and at the bottom it says retry or cancel because it won’t load. If this gets fix I would love it again. Complaint from Husker fan in Nevada.

Portrait only view is big detractor
I really liked the previous app layout better. The big minus with this new app layout is forcing you into portrait only mode, there is no screen rotation, no ability to put in landscape view. The stories are fresh but seem slow to matriculate to the website or app. Or maybe just slow news.

New version not an improvement
Well, you finally did it. Converted the well designed previous App into the same format as the poorly designed Journal Star App. Oh well, good things eventually come to an end. Articles harder to read with all the ads and videos embedded on them that have nothing to do with the article. Rating of 3 is generous.

One Stop Shop For All Cornhusker News
This is the only app I have on my iPad and my iPhone for Nebraska sports. I’ve checked out others but none of them even come close. Great coverage for all sports and up-to-the-minute news.

I can find current articles on most sports at the University of Nebraska in one place plus an irreverent but enlightening blog by sport writers and knowledgeable sources. Men’s sports get primary emphasis, but occasional coverage is given to women’s events.

After 27 yrs in NE
I was wondering the best way to keep in touch with what is going on in Lincoln now that I have moved to South Carolina! This has been a saving grace to stay in touch with what is going on. Press conferences and interviews! If any one has any other suggestions please bring them on. I’m in a town of 2000 people and I heard there is a guy from ONeil NE living here! I saw the Husker sticker on the back window of his pickup!

Everything works well and there is plenty of information. I appreciate getting my football and Nebrasketball fix from you guys. Sometimes it seems that there are delays with getting the stories out, but those are few and far between.
The only thing that prevents me from rating this app as a 5 star is the frequent spelling and grammar issues. I am not sure if it is the app or the writers themselves. Either way, it doesn’t prevent me from understanding or deter me from coming back. Keep up the great work.

Husker Extra is a great app. It's unfortunate that Lee Enterprises doesn't provide a decent app for subscribers to read the whole LJS. Lee could and should learn from the Omaha World Herald. More paid subscribers want digital access and if you don't give it to us, we will move on.
