Description
"Pixel Art Maker" is a drawing tool for pixel art like a retro game.
◇ Easy to use
You can draw a pixel art soon after Launching the app.
◇ Import a photo
Pixelate a photo.
◇ Create an animated pixel art.
Draw one pixel art, copy it, and then you can draw an animation.
Feathers:
• Draw a pixel art of 8x8〜256x256 pixel size.
(I recommend 16x16 or 32x32 pixel size.)
• Change Color pallet(limited to 32 colors).
• Zoom the picture to draw.
(you can pinch in and out your pixel art with your two fingers.)
• Load and save drawing data.
• Load your photo from Photos.
• Export a pixel art with a transparent color.
• Enlarge the image up to 2048x2048 to export.
• Save your picture to Photos.
• Send the picture to another app.
• Export animated gif file
(If the canvas size is 128 x 128 or less, an animation is up to 256 frames. For larger sizes, it is up to 64 frames. )
* An animated gif file is saved in Photos, But it is not animated on Photos.
* Permission for twitter is needed when you tweet an animated gif and the permission is used only when you tweet your animated gif.
• Finger Mode
Mode Finger is a default mode. Draw points with your finger directly on the screen.
• Cursor mode
Move your finger on the screen to move the cursor and press the "PIXEL" button to draw a point.
Push "Menu" -> "Settings" -> "Change Drawing Mode" button to switch to cursor mode.
• Remove Ads(Premium.)

Fun and easy way to make Art.
This app is very good, in my opinion. It's easy to use, you can make a simple blocky picture straight out of Minecraft with ease. Or you can go all out in the maximum resolution and make a detailed picture which looks like it's straight from a retro arcade game. Importing your creations to your camera roll and online is also easy.
I'd happily pay a dollar or two to remove the ads!

In a month I did a lot of files but then in a week I pressed the loal file then everything is gone all the progress is gone!

app is great, but there is a problem with the colors
the app is fantastic! however, the option to copy a color to all the frames is not functional, and colors will occasionally change just a little when switching frames. there is also a bug when saving that creates little dots between the pixels. otherwise, great for drawing and animating!

Amazing best app for perler beads
I can litterly take any photo and transform into a create image with the graph type lines on it and u can even save them in a folder if u don't want to take space up on ur camera roll file and this app also has no in game purchases which makes it even more incredible best mobile app for perler beads.

Best of the best!
This is still my favorite pixel art app! However, we still need RGBA support (for semi-transparent pixels). An other idea is for stamps. Stamps can be use by the user by selecting Menu, then stamps, then chose one of your created pixel arts. Still, this I the best app.

Good it's just that.....
Well it's good until u want more and more AND more space so I think u guys should make MORE MORE MORE MORE space for cool drawings that are huge......BUT ITS COOL BECAUSE OF THE COOLNESS OF DRAWINGS MAN KEEP THIS COMING BOYS AND GALS OUT THERE JUST KEEP ON BRING IN THE GAMES.... Love the app! However
I love the app like I love my unborn children. However the ability to copy and paste a selected area of pixels would be appreciated. You could even use the reflection function you already have, but have it only affect the selected area of pixels instead of the entire canvas, I think this'd make the app better than it already is, and that's saying quite a bit.

Amazing app
This is a great app and it had improved so much since I've had it, but it would be nice if you could insert a picture without it being pixelated and then draw over it with pixels your self, that would be a cool thing to have.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
This app is the best thing ever! I love the animation...but there's one problem...I need it to be more then 256 drawings. I want to make a LONG pixel movie. So please add about 3,500 so I can make a VERY LONG movie to show my friends. I do wish that they would add patterns so I know how to make beautiful designs to show off. Also I love how u can draw with many different colors (though I do wish I could have a little bigger variety of 'em) but over all, the game is great. Needs improvement
There is a bug that prevents me from using the app in landscape mode. Also, it needs support for all color. You should add copy and paste. Finally, no image resolution limit and custom transparency!

REALLY good
It's awesome, and in my opinion one of the best apps I have (right behind Minecraft). Though it gets annoying that there's no 'bucket' tool, especially when I'm animating something.

Good but...
This is a good app, one of the only competent pixel art apps I could find on the App Store. But, the one thing that annoys me is that you have to navigate to a different menu to zoom and change perspective on the drawing. If you guys could add a functionality to, say, be able to zoom and move the picture with 2 fingers swiping and pinching, that would be really cool. Other than that, this is a good app.

Have no problem with ads on a free app, but these certainly aren't for ages 4+.

Love it, but....
The app says it's rated 4+. Now, I'm not a parent, but some of the ads in the app make me really uncomfortable and there's no way to get rid of them except for exiting the app with the hope that they don't pop up. I don't mind ads, but some of the ones on here are awful - please get rid of them. Thank you! This app is perfect for pixel artists and game developers.

Good for Game Design
Hello all review viewers! I'm an indie game developer (Only 2D games until college) and this is really good for people creating video games. What I do is I save my art to my IPad's camera roll, then I use the Gmail app to send it to one of my other Gmail accounts, then I download it on my computer and set it into Stencyl. (Stencyl is great for 2D developers, you can make games similar to pong, Mario, asteroids, and many more like Zelda.) This app is recommended for 2D indie developers. Have a nice day!

This is literally the best app ever for doing pixel art, minecraft stuff, Terraria stuff, ect. Plus it's FREE! You can animate perfect for creating gifs or just awesome creations. I would definitely buy this app if it cost money.

This is great!
I almost NEVER write reviews to apps. However I think this one just deserves one. The presentation is great. You can also import photos to convert to pixel form and edit. There is an undo button as well. You also create ANIMATIONS with this app. The max is 3" frames, but you can choose the size and if you want to export the gif or .png. This is an all around great app. I only have 1 CONCERN you do have a limited color pallet. This may get in the way, but for an app with so many features, it makes up for this.

Amazing Tool For Making Sprite Sheets
This app allows you to pixelate photos, something that comes in handy when you are trying to make a sprite sheet from a picture of a character. This app has a lot of useful features that make using it more enjoyable and a lot easier. Five stars!

Great app, just some suggestions
I love this app, it's easy to use and it's fun to mess with. Just some suggestions though, add a bucket to fill in a large amount at a time, add a shade tool to give shadow to the pictures and a redo button just in case you go to far when undoing

This app is great.
Any issues I had with this app had nothing to do with the app, but the presentation. For the most part, this has been fixed.
It does everything the description says it does and more.
User interface is so simple a child could use it. Good job. That is not easy with an animation app. I personally LOVE the large font. That simplifies so much. I don't understand why so many developers can't understand that it all comes down to function. If you think about it, making tiny images is very similar to making apps for mobile devices.... Anyway.
I tried 37 other apps similar to this in one way or another until I got to this one. This by far is the best functioning pixel art or animation.
I use the whole Adobe series and a lot of the AutoDesk series, and this app fills the gap that no other 'mobile professional design software' can cover. It saves me time to not have to fire up one of my computers if I want to do a little simple pixel work or animation.

A bit buggy
When I open the app and try to open the menu to load a different picture it just freezes, some times clicking on the add gets it to unfreeze but other than that I don't know how to fix that! XD

Deserves Six Stars!
A fun and easy app to use when I'm gonna do Some black-and-white drawings on Miiverse. And the update? You can now animate stuff! Best art app ever! The only downside is that I can't play this longways. If you do that, I'll be very happy! But besides that, it's awesome!

This app is great!
A few issues:
• On both the "Shift" and "background color" parts when resizing, there should be a back button leading back to the previous option.
• Also on the background color changer: I literally can't do anything with it. There's no confirm button, no back button, not even a way to change the color. I had to close the app and re-open it. Maybe it's just because my phone screen is too small and it gets cut off or something, but either way, it should be fixed.
• Not a huge deal if the back buttons are added, but it would be nice to be able to preview what the canvas would look like when adjusting the size on the resize feature (before moving on to the next option).
I've only been using this app for about 20 minutes, but I'm already loving it! Once those issues get fixed (assuming there aren't any I haven't come across yet), it's absolutely 5 stars! Thank you for this app!

You can even animate your drawings easily in app and export your art work. But most impressively the app is updated often with more features that make it significantly better than it was previously. Best Pixel Art on App Store
This app is a really great app for those who like to make pixel art. It allows complete control over coloring, size, and being able to save it at whatever resolution is right for the picture. With no ads and nothing hiding behind a paywall, this is the best pixel art creator on the App Store. Although it's not perfect, such as importing photos into pixel art, it is still the best.

Wonderful pixel drawing tool
This app gives you everything you need to draw pixel art on the phone -- touch to color, user specified canvas size, export to camera roll (automatically resizes). This is much better than drawing pixel art with a Cintiq Companion 2!

It works
In short, it's what I wanted: A tool to make sprites on.
Get a bit deeper, and it shines a little dimmer. Poor color select, no zoom, no tools other than draw and erase. It works for making sprites, but not as well as I would like. Overall, deserving of at least 3 stars.

Great and easy to use
I like this app a lot. I got used to using it right away. I am so glad there are different size options, so you can make pictures as simple or as detailed as you'd like. This is a great pixel art app especially for people like me who are just starting out!

Great app but needs better equipment
I love this app and it definitely stands outs from the crowd with its great compatibility. But there are a few things you guys need to add and here's them.
1: you should have the ability to have more color in one picture
2: you should have more tools to work with ex. eye dropper, eraser, paint bucket, different opacity, rewind tool
3: you should add better cropping instead of it just having a square you should have one the size of an iPhone or iPad or smaller we should be able to control that
4: we should have different layers to work with. We should be able to color on the inside without worrying on the outline or work on the shadows with out worrying on the main colors

Good app for sketching out ideas
Good for some small scale pixel art drawings, but I wish there was a zoom feature. The colors are limited which helps control the numbers of colors used, but I wish there were more preset color palettes to chose from instead of having to create your own.

Great app but complete.
The image size is 16by16 and cannot be changed. Maybe make a max size of 64by64?
I like the color selector but it would be nice if I could type in a value.
I at time would like to load images from the pictures app but I can't yet.
