Good ish
Trainz Driver 2 actually has really nice graphics for a mobile train sim, and the simple driving controls make it fun to pick up and play. That’s something I really like about it — it’s not overly complicated, and the trains look good even on a phone.
But the game really shows its age. The multiplayer feature doesn’t work anymore, even though the button is still on the main menu. Every session just says “not available for multiplayer,” so it feels like they removed the servers but never removed the menu. Kind of misleading.
What I really wish is that the developers would make a proper, updated Trainz app that’s FREE and works on both iPhone and iPad, with working multiplayer and modern features. Right now it feels like iPad gets Trainz 2, phones get TD2, and neither one is fully supported anymore.
There’s still fun to be had here, but it definitely needs a real update or a fresh new version for all devices

Hello N3V Games and creators of Trainz Games. Just thought I’d give an idea for future releases, if you could add the following engines. N&W 611, Norfolk Southern engines like SD70M-2s, SD60s, SD70, Dash 9s in Thoroughbred Paint, AC44C6Ms in standard paint and sine waves on some engines, UP ES44AC, SD70M, CN C44-9WL, CPKC content, etc. I hope you read this and take the new idea into consideration, the game severely lacks a lot of content and it would be more fun if more content like this is added as it would be great for future experiences. It is a wonderful game over all!

DLC failed
One little issue. I bought CSX 1900 and it went through but I never got the DLC I even tried deleted the game and reinstalled it and restored the DLCs. And it never worked. Will this bug be fixed. Thanks

Beware TOO MUCH DLC AND PAYWARE
This app requires you to buy an excessive amount of content to play it. Compared to TRAINZ A New Era (for PC), Trainz 2 requires you to make in-app purchases in order to enjoy the game. This was not expected as I thought There would be less dlc (for example, THE FAIRBANKS MORSE LOCOMOTIVE WASNT FREE 😭😭😭, nor the GE U50, U18b or SURFLINER F59PHI). In TRAINZ A NEW ERA this content was free, now it's PAYWARE? If you purchase this game, be prepared to be asked to purchase additional content in order to fully enjoy the game. This feels like a ripoff due to the excessive payware needed.

Some things I would like fixed
I’ve loved this game ever since I was little, and I’ve especially loved quick drive, however there are some things I would like you guys to look into, first, putting purchased content into quick drive, I’ve gotten several trains over the years but they’ve never appeared in quick drive, I’ve always had to edit the route and add the trains manually, and the smaller interface on the iPhone 14 has made that task much more frustrating, and the second thing I’d like you guys to look into is making the interface a bit bigger for the modern iPhone interface, thank you for your time to read this

Arguably the best mobile train game.
Trainz driver 2 is an absolutely amazing game with several locomotives and rolling stock to choose from. Editing a route and Surveyor are welcome additions as they add your own twist of fun to the game. However, I’d say bye for the best thing about this game is the graphical interface and the paid dlc items. They are simple yet bring lots of fun to the game. Overall don’t spend your money on Trainz Simulator 3 rail fans of the gaming community and choose this game as it’s the best on mobile. :)

I LOVE THIS GAME!! But it is missing stuff from Trainz sim 2 that other VERY IDENTICAL game to this one. Like when I went to the environment category, I didn’t see the session rules tab and I really want to make better railroad crossings like in the video but I can’t because the button to actually do it ain’t there. This app is honestly my go-to app! This app is fun, nothing will be better than this! Only one thing though, I really enjoy the bonus content, but I think that everything that is in bonus content should also have a purchase where you get all the content in the bonus content instead of slowly getting new trains one by one! There is some things you need to update
Number 1 the railroad crossing doesn’t make sound when the train comes by number 2 why can’t you connect the road to the railroad to make it better and more realistic number 3 the train needs more sounds and horns and now let’s go to the updates you need to make 1 add more oil tankers 2 add more trains and more roads and traffic lights I downloaded this game again and decided to get it again so I downloaded it back because I want realistic train games and I think this is all updates and changes you need to make about the game :)

Good Game, Could Use more in base game
I have used the computer versions of Trainz, Most of my roster being DLS equipment. The game has many of the creative mode features and driving interface is much more simple, which I like.
However, there are some trains that would complete the base game to make it more fuller.
1, add a British emu train as there are already British stock preloaded. A class 315 which is a 4 car unit can be rearranged to form a subway train or other transit trains as it has 3 separate cars that can be arranged however the player so desires.
2, a heavyweight coach for the base steam engines.
3, Since the game has Australian locomotives already, maybe add a Hamersly Iron Dash 9 as it would allow for more choices rather than F units and an EMD as 40.
4, a subway track/tunnel/platform set. One with a double track tunnel, a single track fully enclosed, one partially enclosed, track with floor and ceiling, and a stretchable platform to go with it.
5, and lastly a low floor LRV such as a Siemens S70 or S7US. They are common in the US and work well for other maps.
These are my suggestions on improving the base game as there is a large number of preloaded ALCo PAs in the game.
I have enjoyed the ease and creativity the game has and the multiplayer aspect too.

Slight problem when purchasing content (pls make sure the devs see this)
Ok so I got my phone back a few weeks ago or something like that, I redownload trainz and go to the content store to restore my purchases, and when I do it says “no content available for purchase” so I go to the route selection and there are only the freeware routes available and it’s been like that for a couple weeks now, when I try to restore my content it says “unable to connect to the App Store” (btw same thing also happens with trainz 3) could you guys fix this so I don’t have to spend like 100’s of dollars on rebuying my content?

My comfort game
I absolutely love this game! I’m no gamer, but if I find myself bored needing to pass time I always go on the world creator section of the game! Makes me feel like I’m building my own train set, but of course virtually and without all the $$$. The game has a nostalgic feel to it as well, like something I would’ve played on PC in the early 2000’s, something you don’t find on any other game in the App Store. It’s sort of relaxing and peaceful for some reason. I love how it’s free now, but pleaseee keep it as is and do not ruin the game by putting ads in the future (like some sellers do)!!🙏🏿 thank you. I’ll be buying Train Simulator 3, just waiting for you to make the game a little more stable from what the reviews are stating🔥🔥

This is a very good game, as it is one of my favorite games, It is even better with the new multiplayer. Even though it can be a bit glitchy, it still is a wonderful feature. And I am pleased with all the sclection of trains they have added now. Overall, great game! I think in the future they should add a download station for stuff online although hopefully they add that to the new trainz game in the future. Ok, overall amazing game, but I’d like to ask some of your devs some questions. Ever since Trainz 3 was created, which is a great game too, there have been a lot of bugs in Trainz 2. This makes me sad, even though I still have Trainz 3, because I’ve made many maps and have bought many trains, and I would hate to see them go if I were to delete the game because of this. If there is anything you could do, please let me know immediately.

G-R-E-A-T Game, but there can be more trains added
Ok first of all, to me, there has been no better train game than TD2, which in my opinion is AMAZING!!!!! Many different routes, an option to create and edit new and existing routes, nice train collections, but the one thing that sets me off a LOT is 2 things: Some engines have un-realistic horns / whistles / bells, and the fact that there can be a lot more real train companies added, mainly passenger. Some examples are:
1. GO Transit (Ontario, Canada)
2. Tri-Rail (Florida, USA)
3. Sun Rail (Florida, USA)
4. Maryland Area Regional Commuter (MARC) (Maryland / Virginia / Washington DC, USA)
5. Coaster (Coast Express Rail) (California, USA)
6. Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) (California, USA)
7. CalTrain (California, USA)
8. Sound Transit (Washington / Oregon, USA)
9. Metra (Illinois, USA)
10. Brightline (Florida, USA)
There are many more passenger companies that could be added, and theres no need to add all of them, I like TD2 the way it is, but if you do plan on adding them, can you do so with realistic audio? Thanks!

A few suggestions…
overall a great game, but sometimes there are big lag spikes, randomly when I am playing. I have a few extra content ideas. Could we PLEASE have an mbta commuter rail? I love that train because I live in that area, and I see the commuter rail every day. I would also like a porter steam engine. Another cool feature that you could add, would be a walk around mode, where you could walk around the cab and walk on the ground at human height, so that you could get a feel for how big the trains actually are. It would be cool to if you could choose in first person view, you slide the controls actually in the cab. Also where the benefit of walking around the cab would come into play. And could you please make the max radius for painting the ground when you are creating routes bigger, because if you are making a bigger map, then it takes a while and becomes a bit boring, especially if you are playing on a short amount of time. But I have had the game for about 4 months and the game hasn’t updated once. It would be nice if you could take peoples suggestions and put them into action, because it kinda seems like you have given up on the game. And sometimes the game will crash and I will have to restart there mission that I started, or it won’t save my progress on the map I made.

Great game, but I have a major problem
This game is obviously the best mobile train simulator, and all the free content has been great. I have, however, been having a major problem where DLC content I’ve purchased isn’t working. I’ve purchased the “Winter in the Alps” and “Paris: Gare du Nord”, and both of the DLC’s trains when spawned in don’t move when using the throttle, and the sound effects and pantographs don’t work. Recently, the Swiss Alps game pass seems to have vanished. I no longer have the ability to spawn in any trains from the DLC, and I can’t even see the map on the route selection screen. I’m hoping someone can fix this, or tell me what to do. I’ve seen earlier reviews saying that the company hasn’t responded and just makes you buy a new product and all the DLCs over again, so hopefully someone can help me get around this. This is still a major problem, and makes the company as a whole look bad. Hope I get a response, thanks.

The update broke the app
I love making my own routes, but for some reason it keeps messing up. Everything was going awesome and I had a fun route until after the new update. Every time I would try and open my route, it would crash. And I tried millions of times to make it work. So I had to delete my route. Months of tracks, putting down stations, realistic ground paints, trees, and shrubs. Cities with skyscrapers with Amtrak super liners and Acela running in and out. Gone. Because I had to delete the route because it was slowing down the whole app. And I started a new route from fresh and was even more angry. I put down 1 building then boom. Crash. What in the world! Please help me.

Best Train Game Ever, Can’t Wait For Trainz 3
I’ve been playing this game since 2016 and it is absolutely incredible! You can never get bored ‘cause there are so many things to do in this game! If you do get bored, there’s a massive amount of new content you can get. The graphics are incredible and much better than any other IOS train game out there. I’ve been watching the Trainz Mobile 3 project since day one and I, like many others are thankful for this step up in quality! AMAZING BUT NEEDS MORE!
This is honestly the best train simulator on the App Store. Literally no words can describe how amazing this app is. Thank you soooo much for the addition of more steam engines!!! What I would love to see added is a list of purchasable locomotives in the content store. That way, we can purchase locos on their own without buying a session. And what about an update??? That would be AWESOME!! Overall, the game is super realistic and really addictive! I find myself building scenic railroads and museum lines on the world builder. Can play my favorite train sim on the go!
Sometimes I want to play Trainz on my computer but now that I have it on my phone it’s way easier to play on the go. Even though it’s not the hot stuff it’s great and a good sim! Now I can play my favorite train sim Trainz on my phone it doesn’t have a train load of content (forgive my quick pun) it still has quite a bit of trains so it’s not just 1 or 2 trains and that’s it it’s more than 1 or 2. Although I have 1 or 2 things. One is it okay if you guys add more trains and ad up locomotives like the 844 in the black freight and in the greyhound painscheme and so you can change the running number and up passenger coaches with baggage cars and everything and Union Pacific Gp7s and Union Pacific f units and more modern box cars 50ft with any road name please .All in all its a great game I recommend it. Thanks NV3 for creating the Trainz series that I have enjoyed on computer and my phone for years and more to come!

Great game!😀 except...
There is nothing wrong with the game or whatever but it is just how you get new content in the game. See, getting new content costs money on this one, you need to spend $ 0.99 or $ 1.99 or $ 2.99 just to get new content and great things. But on computer you don’t get to buy it but you get to download it for FREE!!??!! What, this may be unfair that computer users get free trains while us mobile users have to pay to get trains in the games. In conclusion, N3V games should make another version of this game but you get to download all of the content for free instad of having to pay. But for now you now need to ask your parent or guardian if it’s ok to buy any of the content from this game.

I’ve been playing for a bit and notice some things
I’ve only been playing for about an hour, so I’ve not experienced the full game yet. There are some small things that would have deterred me from continuing to play, minor appearances that rather confuse the player, or me, at least. When the tutorial starts the camera movement is choppy and laggy, and occasionally white lines will appear on the tracks around a turn. Other than those appearances the graphics and textures seem a bit outdated and blurred. Those of course don’t alter the actual gameplay but they do stand out to me as improvement opportunities.

I Love this game could you please add a little more things though
My grandson plays this game and loves it he plays it almost every day he would also like to know how to set up a plan it all ran account so he can download Content. He would also like to see some content added like the Holy subdivision meeting with the subdivision from Milwaukee Junction in Detroit to Chicago and the flint subdivision from Sarnia Ontario to Chicago. He would also like to see some fallen flag railroad welcome motives added in such as pen central Pennsylvania New York Central and of course Detroit Toledo and Ironton. Great game but I want some horns fixed. And more trains.
This is a great game and I know all the trains are highly detailed. But here’s what I want fixed. The trains with that default horn just bugs me out. Can you please fix it because it bugs me and sometimes it makes it not realistic because that’s not what the real trains sound like I’m real life. So I would like you to update the horn of the Santa Fe F7A the F7B can be a default horn but here’s some horns I want to be fixed. First is the Amtrak surfliner it’s a great train 🚞 but please change the horn it bugs me a lot thank you, second is I want all the trains with the default horns changed because the default horn really bugs me because it’s not realistic you can keep some default horns but just please change some thanks. Also I want some more trains to be added. Can you add a Amtrak Charger yeah thos please add them and please add a Via rail F40PH and a via rail PD42DC And a GO F40PH and a can car. Needs more American and Canadian steam locomotives and rolling stock
This app is great and all however it needs more American and Canadian steam locomotives I would really like to see like the new haven i5 or New York central 0-8-0 switcher I would really like to see more famous steam locomotive from America in this game. There’s is a lot of freight cars from Canada and the United States
But there is not a lot of passenger cars from other railroads in the game the and the barely an observation cars in the game the only observation cars from the blue comet and Canadian pacific observations domes and rio grande and Pennsylvania broadway limited it but that’s about it you don’t have to respond to this I just want more Americans steam locomotive passenger cars in the game hopefully someday you will add more United States steam locomotives and passenger cars in the game. Greatest game just a few suggestions
I love this game with a passion, im not trying to be picky or criticize this masterpiece but I do notice a lack of geared locomotives such as the climax, Heisler, and shay so if you could create a dlc based around these locos it would be amazing. Also I don’t want to be greedy but could you possibly make a dlc dedicated to the White Mountain Central Railroads number 6 climax located at Clark’s trading post in Lincoln New Hampshire USA, that climax is possibly my favorite train ever and the whistle is one of the most iconic parts about that train. I would be more than grateful if you did this, if so thank you with all my heart if not it’s ok I understand. I don’t even know if you will see this but if you do please at least add a climax dlc.

Best game for train simulation
I have played this game a lot and it is literally the best thing you can get out there for the mobile players. If you’re trying to get a Train Simulator, I highly recommend you to get this one because it has trains globally like British and Australian locomotives and maps.
FLAWS: Don’t get me wrong, this game is a really good game and has good graphics, But I just really want to edit Maps besides city and country USA because I’d like to experiment and add working vehicles and other things to the worlds but I can’t because of the game, so that’s 1 flaw. Another thing about it is that I just like to have like combos of trains and maps so I don’t have to keep paying 99¢ for everything and just get lots of locomotives in one bundle.
Overall it’s a great game and I got a lot of trains and it’s really fun love creating my own maps and the easy controls

Enjoyable for the price (of DLC etc.)
I’ve used this for quite some time. One could argue that the graphics could be better or the rolling stock more detailed, etc., but the overall experience is enjoyable and the purchasable DLC is very reasonably priced (many $0.99 items). Pros: Easy mode is truly easy. Tutorials are clear and easily completed. Detail is good overall. Basic train functions are easily accessible and performed. Cons: The DLC library and access is antiquated and not user friendly (I would strongly suggest registering with PlanetAuran/Trainz to simplify access). Degree of image details could be improved. The non-easy steam tutorial can be confusing as the buttons are not clearly labeled (some are). Overall a fun portable train experience.

I ❤️ this game but...
The British DLC content seems to have stagnated after the duchesses and flying Scotsman were introduced. We’re missing the Pullman cars, the larger Great Western engines, the larger Southern engines, a few of the larger LMS engines, a few of the larger LNER engines, more tank engines and small tender engines than I can count, and coaches and wagons for all of them. There’s so much potential here and I know I can’t be the only one to have suggested at least of the things here. So please can we get some more of these starting with the Pullman cars. They were and are an icon of British train travel.

Okay. I’ve had this game for a while. On two iPads!! It’s such a fun waste of time game to make routes. I love some of the downloadable content ( please add more streamlined steam trains like the New York central) and have owned all the content twice. It’s a great game buttttt..it’s not perfect
The game has a lot of bugs whether it be not letting me add objects, trains, etc. to the frustrating point of asking to redownload things. And after all of that my purchases were taken away without giving me the money ( send help )
Overall, it’s a fun game but if the bugs could be fixed then it would be better

Good game but some improvements needed
I play this game a lot and it’s probably the most realistic train game for mobile devices. One thing that I think should be improved is probably the copy and paste tool in the world creator as I can’t figure out how to do it. Another improvement is some more American assets. While I think there are many Americans assets I still think there is more European trains than American trains. The last thing I would say is find assets with different horns, whistles, and bells. At this time I would like to see the Norfolk and western Appalachian coal route from Trainz 12 into IOS or at least a scaled down version like the Marias pass route.

Great, but has some bugs
The Game is great, it’s made by Trainz so you know the graphics are realistic, and the in game physics engine works really well. The whole line up of Trainz games for IOS is great. The game is similar to the computer version Trainz 2010 and Trainz 2019. The IOS version Very nice but there are times where the missions freeze and you have to cancel the mission and then restart, it only happens once when you start the mission for the first time, but it can be annoying. In my opinion you should get the game, it’s a little old but you will not regret it.

New trains and boats and even better
This game is great but it needs more steam trains and Thomas and friends and British SteamTrains and add Ivor the engine and Casey jr and add sparks on all of the trains when braking with real braking noises and make the trains realistic and add king’s cross station and even more American 19th &20th century steam locomotives. And make it even better with blue comet and polar express engine and passenger cars with an interior view and the rms titanic and more boats that were steam power and more trains from other cartoons and the characters from tugs and add controls to all of the other boats with out the extra content.

Ok there’s a lot of issues
Thank you but I have a few complaints about the game. I recently got it on my iPad because of the added features, and I tried to restore about $15 dollars worth of dlc and it’s not working. Also this game needs an update on the iPhone version at night time the worlds get all messed up. The textures of the hole world is so screwed up it’s stupid. If there’s a storm the sky doesn’t have lightning it has blocks of white in the sky! I would also like for both of the Trainz 2 the iPad and the phone be the same like have the same features. Why because they are the same except the iPad has less bugs, and has some more tools in the edit part of the game I love the game but this is getting really annoying with all the bugs!

Some problems, but who cares! It’s on the IPhone!
You know, this game brings back a lot of memories of trainz 2010 for the iOS Mac. Surprise that even though they are low graphics, that many trains and routes can run on just a smart phone. Yes, the sounds and the quality tend to be low, but some of the DLC is pretty good. My favorite one is the Amtrak F40PH with a Nathan Airchime old/newish cast P5A (probably) and HEP (head end power at 900 rpm) as well as superliner cars.
I think this app is definitely a lot better than all the other train simulator apps out on the App Store. There is a lot of variety with this app. I have been a trainz customer since 2004, and this is the best way to kill time if you’re not in a hurry. I give this app five stars because it is just like playing the one on the computer. I know some have complained about the sounds and the details being inaccurate, but hey, it’s just on the app. If a real train sim buff (like me) wants to customize sounds, they can do so on the computer. It’s a little let down for me, but I can surely put up with it.

Why?
Nv3, you had it right with the original ios version of Trainz. The surveyor was easy to use, all the content was free, and the driver HUD was better. Now, the surveyor is hard to navigate and very tedious to use. There are more routes and content which is good, but the bulk of them are payware. The old HUD would give you info as to what the next speed limit was and how far away you were from it, but now it’s just a complete guessing game as to what the next speed limit is. Nv3 all you had to do was add more content and fix the zoom in surveyor, that’s all we asked for. I could’ve lived with the additional content being payware even, just as long as there was more content available. But you screwed up and now refuse to fix your mess. There are alot of people that would agree with me when I say that I would love to see well functioning mobile version of trainz with plenty of content. All you have to do go back to the old format of trainz iOS and add more content and you’d have a smash hit game.

Gameplay is satisfactory
After having grown up playing the original Trainz series on the PC for years, this is a refreshing return to it. Since I hadn’t tried the advanced driving modes before, I decided to try the tutorials on the app, and I will say that they were pretty straightforward and well-put-together, it helped me become familiar with how to operate everything fairly quickly. It’s also nice to be able to have the old “surveyor”/map-building tool included to create more places to run, as well as being able to download more content.
One of the downsides, though, is that the selection of rolling stock may seem a bit limited in some areas, especially with steam locomotives (seriously, all you can offer is the Big Boy and that UGLY 4-8-2?!). Although extra content can be purchased, it’s a shame that some of locomotives &/or cars were’t included that were originally from the same PC games as others that did make it into the app.

Downhill spiral
Whoever is in charge of DLC needs a briefing. The CSX U18B and Amtrak P42DC are more than disappointing. The American Freedom train is so bad, the textures on the railcars are poor and the locomotive, SP 4449, is controlled like a diesel locomotive. Was there any effort at all put into it? Does anybody even check these things before they’re released? I paid real money for them! Why do the U18B and U50 both have the sounds of an EMD 645? Why are the Dash-9’s so over powered? Why are all of the SD40’s and GP38’s the same?
The game has become increasingly dysfunctional. No longer can I 1) place bumpers at the ends of rails nor 2) can I move any railcar or locomotive in surveyor mode. Certain roads crash the game. This game has gotten worse. To me, it is obvious whoever is in charge of this game doesn’t care. Don’t buy it.
Perhaps I need to drastically lower my standards. Maybe I’d find this game more enjoyable if I didn’t know as much about trains and if my attention span was shorter. I wouldn’t be as upset about this if I hadn’t invested any money in it. Not worth paying for.

Amazing! However...
Got this game with great expectations and it DEFINITELY delivered, not only is it in my opinion one of THE most realistic train simulators, but the new content is substantial, one I noticed is that kind of ruined part of my expectations was the lack of new work, yes there are 2 new maps but only have 1 or 2 jobs, also in the first game A-mazing race, congestion on the rails, and runaway train were free, now there $1 or $2, by the looks of it, they thought making locomotives sortof free and new maps and some jobs along with more paid content which angers me a little since I was looking forward to playing as a classic diesel train like bsnf and nsx but I must pay for those, there is not even a introduction to it like locomotives, other than that I enjoy the game

They refuse to update the app.
First off, I paid full price for this app and a bunch of dlc. I informed the company “winter in the alps” was broken years ago, yes years. It constantly says I need to redownload the dlc and the companies tech support confirmed the issue. I was told it wasn’t a priority to fix because they were not making enough money on this app. Now I see they are giving it away for free. The app won’t run in full screen on an iPad, they want you to buy another product for that, instead of making this one universal. Of course if you buy the other product you have to buy all the dlc over again. This is a greedy company that is terrible at their job, refuses outright to fix known bugs they admit are a problem, and refuses to conform to general Apple standards of making an app universal. It’s not even worth the free download, and for those of us who payed full price then wasted 5x more money on dlc, we were ripped off.
Bottom line, they complain the product isn’t making any money and yet don’t support the product, so how can they expect people to continue to invest in it? Avoid. Oh and for the record, I also bought every trainz journey app, which means I have to waste huge amounts of storage space on my iPad downloading the same repetitive product assets over and over because they couldn’t make it one app with dlc in app purchases, using shared assets.

One Of The Best Their Is
It’s one of the best train simulation apps I’ve ever come to buy. I enjoy all the creativity allowed when creating routes and such. And I love all the extra content I’ve bought and downloaded. But I wish we could have a full download station for user created and free content. And I’d like to see more of the British rolling stock and engines added. UPDATE: I love all the new content, got the brake vans and the tank engines. Some more American Pacific’s. It’s great and I love it all. 5/5 Another UPDATE: The American Pacifics are amazing! But there isn’t a single American tank engine. I would love to see each one. But the game is still pretty good 5/5. UPDATE: Still love it, still, American tank engines would be nice

The best train game for iOS/Android! 😀
This is the best train simulator for mobile ever! I love how you can experience Trainz without having to buy the pc version for $60. I also love that you can download DLC content! I just can’t stop driving all these trains! I can even reenact TTTE episodes because a variety of the trains look like the actual characters! One problem I have is that you can’t download mods off the internet. If they improved this I can just imagine myself driving Thomas w/ Annie and Clarabel around Sodor! Other than that this is amazing! Thank you N3V Games! You are THE BEST!!!!😄

Good game but needs work to be enjoyable
It’s a good game but it needs work to be enjoyable. My main complaint is that on all the steam locomotives when you start off from a dead stop in realistic mode the boiler pressure drops all the way to the minimum way too quickly and way too dramatically. This needs to be fixed because real steam locomotives do not do this. What the boiler pressure should do is it should slowly start dropping if the reverser gear (orange handle) is not brought closer and closer to the neutral position as the steam locomotives speed increases in order to save steam just like a real steam locomotive. And if the boiler pressure does start to drop there should be what is called a blower valve put into the realistic controls to bring the boiler pressure back up just like a real steam locomotive. If these two problems would be fixed I will gladly re-review this game and give it 5 stars I promise. But these problems need to be addressed. Thanks.

Best mobile train game! But...
This is by far the best mobile train game (getting tane and TS2019 soon 🔥) and I think this is really fun for train lovers who are bored and wanna access trains right in their pocket but there’s something I think the game needs.... I think spine cars and a different well car variety would be better also TTX flatcars, and maybe some centerbeams plus UP 4141 & 1943 excursion train I don’t wanna add more thing to wish for in the game because I hope you got an idea of what I mean thanks for reading my review love your game :-)

The best train app out there!
I love this app! I play it almost every day! But there is one thing that makes me sad, when buying the CN U2g it gives you a Great Northern tender. Do you guys think you could please, please add the original CN tender from the computer Trainz games? The original tender is awesome and if I saw it for sale (even just the tender) I would buy it without hesitation. I buy a lot of trains from you guys so please think about adding the tender. Great 🚂 Game! But...
Trainz Driver 2 is the best train simulator for iOS out there! It is well worth the price, and you can get more content if you're not satisfied with the huge amount of content that it contains in the base game. But on the subject of DLC, I have a few things that I’d like to see made into DLC. First and foremost, I would like to see some DLC of the 20th Century Limited in either it's streamlined 1938 and/or 1940 schemes with the Dreyfuss Hudson or it's 1948 Two Tone Gray Scheme. (Or you could create both in separate DLCs, as I know you have the power to do that.) Along with the 20th Century Limited DLC, I would like them to have their own route/map of the world famous "water level route" along the Hudson River from Croton-Harmon Station to stations northward along the Hudson, as the scenery there is very, very beautiful. Secondly, I’d LOVE to see more content and routes based on Germany and Austria, but with a more modern theme. Think like, for example, ÖBB’s Railjet and DB’s ICE. If I saw a route on the Trainz 2 DLC marketplace that had a detailed Vienna Hbf in it, I’d tell you to shut up and take my money. Thirdly, Since you have both Paris Montparnasse and Paris Garé du Nord, you should add a DLC of Paris Gare de Lyon and the TGV Sud-Est in either it’s blue and gray livery or its iconic original orange and black paint scheme. These additions would make me and probably many other players very happy.

Best Train Sim on IOS
Out of all the train simulators on IOS, this is BY FAR the best. And if I dare say so, it has a better selection of locomotives than Trainz A New Era. Also massive nostalgia points for the inclusion of older maps, as I used to play one of the earlier versions of Trainz on the computer that included some of these maps. One complaint I do have is there should be a full download station so I can download free locomotives and rolling stock that is user created. If that was included, this would be a five star review. But by all means this app is worth it and if you like trains this app is a necessity.

Great
Brilliant and surprisingly in-depth train simulator for when you're on the go. Speed is a little tricky to get the hang of on my small iPhone screen, but you get used to it pretty quickly, and the heaps of content and variety make it worthwhile. Although extra missions are paid DLC, there is way more than 99c worth of content in the core package. Accept no imitations - this may well be the best train sim on the App Store. Highly recommended to anyone with even a passing interest in either trains or job simulation games in general - a true gem.

Awesomeness!
This game came as the best game on the App Store. I can't put my phone down when I'm playing it! Of course its nothing like TS 2016, but it well deserved a 5 star rating. Of course there's many things to fix like: The graphics, horns, cab views, the weird glitch with the Blue Comet. Thinking of the Blue Comet, I got it to work! I just got the Great Northern S-2 Steam Engine session and a weird lag brought me to the rail yard(I had already bought the Blue Comet) and I landed on the BC coach. It finally works now! There's one railroad in particular that I would love to have. The Denver and Rio Grande Western. When making a train simulator, you forget about the " Scenic Line of the World ". Or The Moffat Tunnel or The Royal Gorge or Cumbres pass! These things will make this game awesome. More steam engines could in cloud the K-36(D&RGW) the challenger(many railroad) the GG1. Please do must of these I would love to buy the 3rd game(if coming out with one). Again as I said, this game well deserved a 5 star.
