When letting the app know that their information regarding managed care coverage is inaccurate, I received a response along the lines of "purchase the full access app to provide feedback that we will listen to". They do not care about providing accurate managed care information, only making a few $$$. Disappointing!!

Awesome App
My customers and I utilize the services of MMIT daily and find the tool to save time on Call-Backs, prescriptions being restocked once patient arrives for pick up and is shocked to see their payment, co-payment of actual out of pocket cost. Most Importantly, at the time of Clinician-Patient contact, the prescriber can quickly reference this App to determine if his/her first line of Rx use is covered under that particular patients plan. If not, he/she can immediately choose another option and immediately know if that Rx is covered. Everyone happy- patient, clinician & pharmacy.

Really like this app but it can get "stuck" and I am not able to search for a new drug because it is spinning.

Great Resource!
Great resource for medical personnel who are responsible for determining patient meds and their coverage on medical plans. Also great for patients to look up their own plans to see what meds are covered. Thanks for a great resource!

I use this app daily for my prior authorizations; it is the best!! I can look up any insurance carrier and see what MEDS are covered/preferred...I love this app!

Just what I need!
Just downloaded the app and used it on a few patients. Seems to work well. Great to use when you get a rejection from the pharmacy - would take at least 15 minutes talking to insurance companies to figure out what is covered - this app seems to take less than 60 seconds!

Amazing Resource - Get it now
This App it is right next to ePocrates on my home screen. Clearly the best choice in taking out the guess work of selecting medications and offering alternative choices for your patients. It has clearly reduced staff time getting authorizations. Dealing with multiple insurance companies with a dizzy array of formularies has reach the point of being ridiculous. This App is one of the few solutions out of this morass and does a better job than our EHR system or anything else I've seen.

Wrong
A lot of information, but wrong info on many drugs. Drugs that have coverage on plans are being listed as not having coverage. Very disappointed in this app. If they can get it right, it would be a great tool.

Pleasantly surprised
I use this app regularly and have found it accurate and extremely helpful. Now that insurance companies change their drug formularies so frequently, a provider is forced to use a tool such as this app or rely on their patients' initiative to know their own drug plans. For the latter, you have a better chance waiting for the second coming of Christ. I highly recommend this app.

Does this ever stop spinning
Every time I try to use this app it gets locked up. When I can access a search, it says "covered". That tells me nothing. Not useful at all.

I noticed a mention on a formulary update that MMIT is a source of formulary informatics presumably up to date and probably the original source for bigger apps like Medscape and Epocrates. Unlike those apps this one does not restrict the number of PBMs or searches to a short handpicked list. It also allows expanding plan groups eg "United Healthcare plans" expanding to include Medicaid and part D and commercial variants available through the payor. This is shoulders above the other formulary apps
