Needs way to organize books

I have 70 books in PocketBook. The app itself is top notch, but is sorely lacking the ability to put books into categories or otherwise organize books. The only options are by title or author, not the best for a large collection.

This and elefant reader are the same junk. Cant upload a book from itunes, etc. dont waste time here

SUPERB

This is the best reader I had ever seen in a mobile device, bar none. No matter what you throw at it (CHM, DJVU, PDF, MOBI, EPUB) it will read it. My only possible complaint is that sometimes when you upload a book to the app you are fine but if you upload another one immediately the app freezes sometimes. Oh, the best part? So far, it's bottomless. I don't know if they have it on a server or if it stays in my phone's memory but, unlike iBook, this one has never given me a warning that my memory is full. You can also search words in the books so for college students it's awesome; you input a keyword from a question on a test or assignment from the book and usually takes you there in a snap. Highly recommended!!

Scrolling shift is really bad.

This new scrolling feature with added shift is really bad. Needs to be removed. This the only reason I still use kybook.

This app is amazing

Hi this app is amazing it is the best among all the apps I've ever used. But it lacks something... I hope you can add thumbnails of the book like viewer because it will give me access to see pages. Please also add where it again write. I hope you download this app because it is the very best app I've ever used

Very Good; Needs Some Tweaks

I really like this ebook reader. I don't use the social aspects of it -- reading is a personal and private activity for me. One thing that needs to be tweaked is the app's behavior after it is evicted from RAM and it has to reload a book is that it resets the font size to the overall default size for starting a new book. Instead, it should remember the font size on a per-book basis and reload that whenever it opens that book again, whether it be because the app was evicted from RAM or because the reader closed the book to read another and then went back to the book.

It's ok

Connects to my calibre opds server easily and downloads books. Very few customization options for reading a book. Badly in need of performance optimization; page turning was laggy on my iPhone 6 Plus.

With more development this could be a nice reader.

Appears good, but crashes

Used it to open one pdf, it appears to be very good, have some good features. Then used it to open a large PDFs (70 my), it won't start any more, no matter what I do.

Crashes ALL the time !!

The app continuously crashes. After I updated it, it hasn't opened once, no matter what I do. The application itself is good and can read many formats but what is the point if it application itself doesn't work?! Very disappointed. The company should fix this problem.

Good but needs to be worked on more

This app is simple but great, it reads a lot of file types, and the greatest thing it the ANNOTATIONS SYNC with Dropbox!!! But how can I delete books, and how can I read on my computer? If it can provide more fonts and a desktop app, it would be the best e-reader app out there.

Missing Features?

It has come to my attention that there is no longer an option to scale the size of the text, nor is there an option to change the color of the page. Please add these options.

You wouldn't want it to read a .chm file. Even the book included by default in this app can't be displayed in a proper layout for comfortable reading.

Best auto scroll reader

I got this in a search for an auto scroll reader and it was the best by far. For a normal reader without auto scroll, there are better options. I do not understand 1 and 2 star reviews here. It seems like an over reaction to the cons.

Pros

1. Auto scroll with different speeds

2. Pleasant text formatting with simple zoom in out formatting.

3.Clean presentation.

4.Simple access to highlights.

5.Enjoyed using this for pacing me through my ePub books.

6. Great way to improve reading speed.

Cons

1. No way to export book after highlights added

2. Highlighting is buggy. It didn't always highlight the whole passage as it skipped words.

3. I would have liked a WPM Indicator with auto scroll or at least a way to set defined font size and scrolling speed to keep track of my reading speed.

4. With auto scroll, it would be easy to have a time remaining in chapter/book feature but that isn't implemented

5. I like the font but it would be nice to have more font type options. It would also be nice to have an option to make the font thicker or thinner like the kobo reader can do.

Would it kill the developer to write a more detailed description

Like what methods of transferring books are supported (Adobe Library, iTunes, web server, etc).

Then I wouldnt have to download things I dont want and try out apps that clearly dont do what I need, except that authors dont mention that. Then I wouldnt need to write bad reviews and then keep updating them for each update.

One of the best EPub readers.

One of the best ePub readers. Really need bookmarking or tagging. Need folders or categories to separate different types of files. Can't directly download, but use "open in" to save files. "Buggy highlighter"; often the last word in a line that is being highlighted is not highlighted. Scrolling is good. Can zoom in and out by menu or by pinching or separating 2 fingers. Really like it, despite its shortcomings, but other similar apps also have problems or lack other features.

If footnotes present at center of page (settings area) or at touching areas for scrolling pages I don't see description of footnotes - I touch footnote and I see program settings or next page.

Really nice app for reading ePub books, and easily the best one that supports the Adobe DRM protocol (believe me, I’ve tried a whole bunch…Readmill is good, but unfortunately it’s going away…).

Wish that text layout settings allowed adjusting margins, had less fine text size controls, and perhaps more font choices. Also would love an iPad version.

Ни чего не стоящая читалка.

Не понимаю, зачем было портировать эту недочиталку, когда в AppStore полно отличных читалок. Например Marvin только чего стоит! Я бы еще понял если бы в этой читалке были какие то функции которых нет в других читалках из AppStore, так нет же, она вобще ни каким функционалом не обладает, и при этом с жутким интерфейсом.
