Poor functionality
This has good potential but the app playback function on ipad is very poor. No ability to fast forward through the boring and repetitive ads at the beginnning despite paying for a pricey subscription. No ability to download videos for viewing on flights. Very poor availability when viewing from different countries. For example I was trying to watch the Maryland 5 star from the UK when visiting there and it was not possible to access the content. In addition the recordings have a LOT of dead time at the beginning waiting for action. I fully understand this is the reality of horse trials and events however once they post the feed for replay on demand they should edit or put in show notes that ‘action starts at 5 mins mark for example. H&C has potential but they really need to up their game on the app functionality. I would hesitate before buying this subscription again

Very poor app
Potentially some great content on here — if you could get it to play!!! I’m in the U.S. trying to access on iPhone 13, MacBook and Apple TV all with the latest software. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing fixes the problems. Here are some: 1) no search feature so scroll, scroll, scroll and try to memorize that content because you can’t search to see whether a particular show is available; 2) the app does not play on my Apple TV at all; 3) you may be able to log in and watch some episodes of a series but log out and return to the app and you will have to spend 30 minutes fixing bugs to get it working again.
So - if you’re tempted, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A YEAR!!!!!!!!! Sign up for the month to month. Try it. By the end of a month you’ll find the time spent fixing the app bugs outweighs the pleasure of any programs offered.

Crashing Crashing Crashing
All the time! Get 5 minutes into a show and it’ll crash again. Really would like to be able to watch for 30 minutes without having to reboot the whole program three and four times.

Disappointed
I bought the one month subscription to watch ONE class at Pa National Horse show and the app freezes non stop and froze while my horse was showing.
Very very disappointing.

Disappointed and Frustrated
While I’ve enjoyed some of the content the website seems to be plagued with problems. Sometimes the videos don’t stream and new content is slow in coming. But the worst problem I’ve had is trying to cancel my subscription. I’ve contacted H&C as the My Account page on the website comes up blank. There is absolutely nothing for me to navigate. H&C did respond but all we’ve done is go back and forth with no clear resolution. I downloaded the new version of their app and when I go to Log On that page comes up blank as well! I’m captive!
So buyer beware! H&C May be trying to offer entertaining and informative content but the site needs major work.
