Needs a few additional features to get 5 ⭐️
The app needs the following additional features for a 5 ⭐️ rating:
1. The ability to adjust the scrolling font size
2. Use the full width of the screen, not a narrow section of it.
3. Hide the devices clock, wifi, cellular, battery, etc. area and hide the swipe up bar at the bottom. All you should see is the scrolling text. The rest is distracting.

Could Have Updated Instead Of a New App
I really think it's kind of messed up that the developer didn't just update this app with two lines of text space available. But, they instead released this new function, as a new app, for another $5.
Gone are the days it seems where developers improved their programs by updating them with new features and not just patches. Now, they just release those new features a new app or as an in-app purchase to make double the money, woohoo!
I get that adding new features takes time and resources. But, seriously, adding a second line really didn't deserve a new app except for getting people to pay you again for the same app with one new feature.
Making money is great. I love capitalism. But, doing things this way is just sort distasteful in my opinion. I'm sure that developer would have all that reasons in the world to justify this action, they always do to defend new moneymaking ploys. But, as I said, I just find it distasteful. Yes, that's somewhat of a straw-man argument. I find it to be accurate, though. So, I cannot really articulate my feelings in any other way about this matter.
I can afford to buy this new 2X version of ScrollIt if I wanted to do so. Yet, that in my mind, would just be encouraging this sort of unethical behavior. I mean, seriously, how long do the 2X ScrollIt users believe it's going to be before that app is devoid of new feature updates, for the all new "3X ScrollIt for $6.99?" Not too long I wouldn't think. I just don't want to support that bad business tactic, as I said. I'm sure it's the fetid norm for most developers today. But I find it very distasteful among many other words I won't mention.

Fun to play with
In a room full of people this can be a sweet fun way to let someone know via a personalized message what you're thinking. Plus lots of other fun ways to grab attention if you are creative! Reminds me of my friends sign in the back windshield everybody had back in the 90s.

More functions than other scrolling apps
I've tried a few other scrolling apps and deleted them after finding this one. I like the variety of fonts, colors, and speeds. Wish there were more "shapes" of text besides round, neon, and square. I use this app to post learning targets in school and I think the neon and square are not as easy for children to read. Good app overall.

This app does exactly what it's supposed to
This app works great! Very basic controls, simple interface and to date have had no problems with crashing or anything bad. If you need a scrolling app to send messages in meetings like me this one works great

Simply text scroller
This a a basic text scroller. I tried free ones but they either didn't work or required a purchase to work. This one requires a review to activate looping. It has no options for a font style but still does what it is supposed to do in scrolling text.

Cute & Easy
Update - added to my phone and once more a forced review. I guess if the keep wasting my time I have two more stars to pull. Does what is says it can do. Limited output style but makes a simple electronic signboard out of your device. It is as useful as you are creative in its use. A plus is its seems to work with other emoji keyboards if you have them running. A negative is this "required" review if you want to have a repeating scroll.

Very handy and useful-good to have it in the "toolbox". You will find opportunities to use it. Won't repeat prior suggestions for improvement (font selection, colors, etc) but it is very good as is. Improvements will make it even better. Good job!!

Simple but fun!

This app is fun to use with a very friendly interface. It has a lot of potential for future updates; that is why I gave it three stars. The price listed seems excessive for what is currently offered but I downloaded it free through my Appsgonefree app so it was definitely worth it through that. Keep up the good work!

I'm only writing this because I have to to be able to use the app. I gave it a 3 because I figured that was pretty "neutral" I have no idea how good or bad this is since I haven't been able to use it yet. I downloaded it because it was on the apps gone free app for the day and it seems like something that might be useful to me. I hope it's a good app. The idea seems good.

This is a very fun app. I had no problems getting it to work. I only wish it could have the text move across the screen in more interesting ways, such as in a sine curve fashion or something similar.

Great app with lots of potential
This app is definitely a lot of fun but I would like to see way more emojis to choose from in the future and possibly different colors for the background including white so I can use black font on it. Keep up the good work though 'cause this app's a keeper!

Very Useful in a Classroom!
I like this app for teachers who have an iPad and can connect it to a projector. It's a great way to have a message or instructions waiting for the students when they enter the classroom.

I have only used this app for 15 seconds and it is dunning me for a review, not letting me use all the features until I do so.
So I will say that it is the most thrilling first 15 seconds I have ever had using an app.

There seems to be no way to edit or delete messages-they just pile up. So I deleted and reinstalled the app. As and…it demanded once again that I review the app or I would not be allowed to use all its functions. One star off.

Feelin' Loopy
I wanted to review after using the loop, but you have to write a review in order to use the loop. It's like the Circle of Life.
The app looks good so far. The invisible cursor when you're creating your message makes selective editing impossible! Fix this, and I would edit the number of stars in my review.

I tried a few of the other word scrolling apps, and this one is definitely a better choice. The scrolling isn't choppy at all (like some of the other similar apps) and it doesn't have ads, so get it.

I went hiking with some friends at night along a loud running body of water and I thought to myself that I could really use an app like this to communicate with my friends who trailblazed ahead. Fortunately, I saw this on AppsGoneFree the very next day! This is also useful for other dark noisy places, like cyber bowling. Yes.

Does just what it says - I wish, however, it had a few more text options like selectable fonts and the slider controls for color and speed were a bit longer for better selection.
Also, a great addition would be motion sensing so you could hold the phone up and slide it to display the message as well as having the reader board mode.

Fun little app. Not the most practical, but easy to use and works with non-English characters (tried with Japanese). More emoticons would be nice, but biggest problem is that the cursor is not visible in the text entry box. If editing a character or two by placing my cursor in the middle of text, it just disappears: can still edit, but might delete other characters accidentally. Fix this please!

This is such a great app! Simple to use...very customizable (font color, speed, font type)... and displays a very large message on your device screen. I left my iPad on my desk while I took a quick restroom break. I put a message in red that displayed on my screen saying "Please do NOT touch my iPad!" Love it!

This can be very very useful, for example, in a meeting. Then the other person or persons can see your message without disturbing any conversation and process. I had an app like this on a computer once, but I can't carry my computer in my pocket, Can I ??

Makes a scrolling banner.
Does what you'd expect it to do, plus emojis. I can't imagine a scenario where an adult human would pay money for this, but I've been wrong before. You have to review it to enable repeat scrolls, so here I am.

Always liked the repeating messages but this one is the best I've used because of the different shapes and speeds and the cool scrolling ability and speed control among other features.

As a teacher I tried to think of possible applications that I could use in the class room. It's going to take a while to figure it all out, but I think I'm going to be able to use it a lot.

I just got the app it's cool but I'm confused on what all you can do I can't find the key board and I'm kind of disappointed first apt I pd for and it's not at all what they make it out to be you have to choose the few messages they have up there it's cool for Xmas the Yankees and if you just want I love you scrolling on your phone but that's about it so if I don't see the other features I'm going to delete and this isn't a fare review for me or the app I hazard to do a review just so I wouldn't get charged to open up the loop option FYI you have allot of things to fix on this app cause it's nothing it was made out to be in the description that's y I give this a 1star after I get a chance to check it out I might change my review
