I had problems when I first got the app. The updates have fixed that. It's now my go to app for showing multiple photos. My only suggestion would be to allow "dubbing" of whatever songs we would want. I like adding songs that fit what I'm doing, not necessarily in my library. I use a dubbing app for that when I'm done with my layout. I still give it 5 stars for doing what it promises in a nice easy way.

So it's 2am and I'm laying awake in bed. I have insomnia. I had previously downloaded this app and decided to try it for the first time. I launch it and it starts blasting pretty music while asking for my permission to send notifications. I immediately uninstalled the app and now my wife also has insomnia.

The best of its kind!

This has been my favorite video app for quite some time! I use it to make videos for my family and friends, using old photos combined with sentimental music that often brings tears of joy! Great for Mother's Day gifts and birthdays. When I use the burst feature on my camera, I sometimes make a video out of those photos before discarding all but the best ones, like a time-lapse shot set to fun music (try it with a kid running from a distance towards the camera or sliding down a slide). I love that you can use up to 100 photos, have up to 4-minute videos, and everything is done in-app without any annoying online accounts or cloud processing required. Quick cropping & editing, great effects and options, it's the absolute best.

I only have TWO suggestions for improvement... 1) Please allow us to choose photos from the Favorites album, it would make things so much easier! 2) When I choose an effect then decide I'd rather have no effect, I don't see an option for 'no effect' — I'm stuck with the last one I was on unless I go back into the Photos step then forward again into the music/effects step. That does seem to clear the effect choice.

I have never had any crashes, so I'm wondering if maybe the users who do might just need to use a memory-optimizing app before starting a slide show. There are several good free ones out there, it only takes a couple of seconds, and it would likely improve performance for other apps on their phone too.

Pretty Awesome

I'm not a photographer and rarely take photos, but when I do I wish I could do something with them. Saw this app today and decided what the heck, I'll try it. All I can say is thank you for taking the time to make this app! Simple, fun, easy and complete. Perfect for me. I can only imagine what people could do who can actually take decent photos! Give it a try and see, you may be really surprised!

Great app!

This is a great slide show app. Pics can be edited and cropped. You can add your own music or add some theme related music to your slide show. Only thing I would like is to be able to add my own music from at any point in the song.

Fliptastic a Trip

Happy to rate this very positively. Easy to use. Chance to combine photos in meaningful ways. Still trying to get uploads to work, but can save to camera roll. Keep adding enhancements. I did upgrade so worth the price. Nice touches.

Don't get too excited

I loved this app the first time I used it however NOW after having it for awhile.. IT DOESNT WORK! Once I finally get ALL my special pictures all picked out and ordered around, I hit next just to find my app frozen and going NO WHERE!! What a waste of my time and money!! I have plenty of space on my device that it should have plenty of load memory and shouldn't take 20 minutes for my phone to freeze then shut itself off.. This app has a serious glitch and I no longer like this app.

I like it

I like this app, especially the snow effect. But whenever I save the video or share it to Instagram, the falling snow effect doesn't show. Could you fix that?

This IS a 5-star app!

The reason I say that Fliptastic really IS a 5-star app is because after thoroughly reading every user review I realized that every single low-rating review up until this point is the result of one mistake that has nothing to do with the app itself.

Everyone who gave Fliptastic a low rating could have saved their money and saved me a headache (and I'm sure the developer) if they had just READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE APP.

And people, this time I don't even mean the whole app description (which isn't War&Peace long anyway!). IF YOU JUST READ THE VERY 1st SENTENCE OF THE DESCRIPTION, you'd know that Fliptastic helps you make 15-second videos made up of 20 photos which is great for sharing on Instagram (my short summary).

In the VERY FIRST LINE OF THE APP DESCRIPTION it says 20 photos only, 15-second videos, and aimed at helping you make videos fit for INSTAGRAM (which, by the way, kudos to the reviewer who managed to give Fliptastic a lower rating because of INSTGRAM'S video time-limit rule. Blaming the wrong party ... Hmmm.

I guess you get points for creativity and attempting to think outside the box, but we're going to have to take all those points back and revoke access to the Internet for making choices that are unjust, illogical, and show a tendency to voice opinions on subjects (or products in this case) without doing any reading or in any way educating yourself on the area of interest. You may think your little review has no real power. But, I bet the developer of this app probably sees it another way.

Don't worry. You're not alone. I'm confident enough to place a large bet that not even one low-rating reviewer read a single word of the app description.

Of course, I'll never know either way. But, if you're another anonymous reviewer who doesn't think it's important to have facts before you form opinions and who has absolutely no problem sharing your opinion with others without telling them that you have no evidence to back up what you're saying, well ... you're a .... grrrr ... Okay this has strayed far enough past the point I was trying to make regarding the need to read app descriptions before buying an app and before making yourself look stupid by writing a review full of complaints that the app isn't this or that when the description made it clear that it is neither this NOR that.

Everyone's probably stopped reading my logic-based tale on the importance of words, but ...

If you're still here (hello! thanks!), I'd like to say that my first experience using Fliptastic was just yesterday and it was a BLAST!

I've been very, very sick for a few months, so yesterday was my first chance to make an Instagram video, and I was nervous!

I had no idea how to make a 15-second video. I just didn't know where to start. Providence stepped in when Fliptastic crossed my path (and it was even on sale for Black Friday!).

Fliptastic gave me really clear instructions on what to do and actually walked me to the finish line, which was much closer than I thought it would be.

The result is a really cute (according to friends) little slideshow-flip book-looping video (I'm @Cassiopia26 if you care to stop by and see it).

Fliptastic makes it dead simple to make a 15-second video for Instagram or even to slow the video down a bit to share via email and other social media sources.

It has just enough customizations within the process of making the video to allow you to make something that's really "You," without making it confusing.

I know I'll use Fliptastic and possibly other apps that pop up until I get confident enough. Then, I'll probably move over to my much neglected iMovie app. But, Fliptastic is so much fun, I'm sure I'll come back and visit.

Disappointing.

I liked the app a lot. Until I found out you can only have up to twenty pictures. Why does there have to be a limit? And when I finally got over that, I made my first slideshow. But as soon as I clicked next to finish it, the app crashed and I lost the whole thing! I spent half an hour on it, and I lost the whole thing.
