Ok emulator. Tried to con me out of $40
Ok, good emulator. Some controls are funky but that is all emulators. Paid $2.99 which I thought was a great deal. Nothing about reoccurring or anything. Charged me a week later for $40 but does not fall under iOS subscription. Credit card caught and blocked.

$8 a week is ABSURD!!!! It’s such a shame too because this might be one of the best apps I’ve seen, but at $32 a month?!? $384 a year?!? Who the hell decided this??? $50 a year TOPS. My goodness, go back to the drawing board.

Lot of great games, horrible playing experience, FRAUDULENT CHARGES
UPDATE - attempted to charge me 39.99 for a subscription that isn’t mentioned anywhere in the app or on the App Store. This after I had to pay $4 to use the app initially.
Nintendo games often require the ability to move diagonally (baseball games, football games, etc…) and not only is that impossible, the controller sensitivity makes many of these games unplayable. Punch out? Only if you’re looking to throw your phone out the window.

This game is good but a little bit not
I love this game and it’s really good but the speed of it is really slow. I was expecting it to be normal gameplay and the quality of god of war chains of Olympus are not that good but I still love this app. They should make it so you don’t need to watch ads or need premium to play the game.

Great content but trying to steal my money
I love this app! I paid the $2.99 to play and it was great. After digging around I found that it will cost $7.99 per week to continue. So I cancelled.. Not interested to pay that much for retro games (The cancel is hidden in the settings FYI) 1 week later I got an alert from my bank that this company attempted to charge my account $39.99!
I definitely canceled so they are straight up stealing. I would advise against paying them any money.

Every time you even open the app, it will automatically populate your Apple Pay in attempts to get a quick, accidental subscription purchase. And to use the “free” version you have to navigate thru a forced interactive ad that again tries to get accidental purchases. If you close the app and reopen, you cannot access another ad for 12 hours to regain access to the free version. Total scam. Horrible, sneaky, and completely untrustworthy.

I read the reviews and didn’t see any mention of this. 7.99/ week is absurd, and this is not “as advertised” as your AI mentioned in response to other poor reviews. Charged with no subscription
I downloaded this game and played it once then canceled my subscription. A week later I am charged $40. I go into the app to try and cancel my subscription thinking maybe it did not process the cancelation the first time and I cannot even find the option to cancel the subscription or that I even have one anymore. I contact support, which they are very helpful in refunding the money. But I am leaving this review to let other know what happened to me so they can be aware and hopefully the app can fix this so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

For a couple bucks the amount of games you get is wild. Some of them have some latency issues and I find the controls a bit small and sometimes unresponsive. Either way it’s prefect for diving into those nostalgic old school games. (TLDR): works well for games era NES-GBC, anything else is iffy but overall pretty decent.

Don’t waste the 2.99
I paid the $2.99 with the expectation of being able to play old games. These are altered versions with slow response time and the play does not allow for two buttons to be pressed at the same time. For example if you need to hold b to run fast then press a to jump over a hole you will fall in the hole. I played 10 different games for about 60 seconds each and not one played well. Save your money
