MIDILODY is a generative MIDI sequencer and looper designed to inspire musicians with evolving, musically rich loops. It excels at creating original sequences that evolve over time, perfect for ambient textures, live performances, or sparking new musical ideas.
Key Features:
- Hexadecimal MIDI Engine: At its core, MIDILODY employs a hexadecimal machine that generates random MIDI messages. These are filtered to match your selected scale, ensuring musical coherence.
- Evolving Sequences: New notes are added at precise timings, allowing them to overlay existing ones. This overdubbing creates dynamic rhythms and chords, making your loops evolve organically.
- Scale Selection: Choose from predefined scales to set the tonal foundation of your loops.
- Real-Time Editing: Remove unwanted notes on-the-fly without interrupting playback, giving you control during live sessions.
- Auto-Pause Functionality: Automatically pause after adding a new note—ideal for live ambient performances where gradual evolution is key.
- Infinite loops: let your MIDI sequence evolve constantly while you're tweaking your instruments
- Adjustable Sequence Length: Set your sequence length up to 32 notes
- Adjustable Loop Duration: Set your loop duration to 1 bar / 4steps , 2 bars/ 8 steps, or 4 bars/ 16 steps to suit your musical needs.
- Velocity Filtering: Apply filters to capture notes with low velocity, perfect for creating subtle ambient textures.
- Note-Off Messaging: Send note-off messages to accommodate external gear or plugins. By default, notes adhere to your AUv3 instruments’ settings.
- MIDI Notes routing: filter your notes by octave to send them to other instruments
