I subscribed and now I can’t cancel my subscription. The initial subscription was $1 for a trial week. After the trial week the price went up to $30 per week. I can’t find a button to cancel my subscription in the app, in the App Store, or on PayPal. Again, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE.

False Advertising
I had to dispute with my provider because they don’t answer.
This app does not have good content. Whatever story lured you here, you got the only good part of the story in the ad. The subscription is a ghost subscription, with no way to cancel.
Cewen or whatever company in Hong Kong will charge you in about 48 hours the full price for the subscription. It did not charge to my phone or app account, it charged directly from my PayPal and set itself as an active subscription, though the app said the subscription was only valid until the end of my trial period.
I had to issue a cancellation and a refund through PayPal to get anywhere.

Besides the really highly inappropriate novels, there is no way to cancel this. The instructions say to go in to your subscriptions, yet it never appeared there to be able to cancel it, and I got charged again, when I didn’t want it!!!

Update… after submitting feedback in the app that was nasty about not being able to cancel, a subscription management button suddenly, magically appeared as soon as I submitted the feedback. I was finally able to cancel!

Doesn’t give a cancel option on app or on App Store but I read in the reviews if you make an account and then delete it that it should cancel your subscription so I will try that next so wish me luck…

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. IT IS A SCAM!! they are going to take your money. Do not do the free trial I had purchased a $.99 trial and within 24 hours they done pulled $30 out of my account when I tried to cancel. They told me they would not give a refund even though I did not purchase the plan they stole my money.

Only the first 3 chapters are free
The only thing free is the first three chapters; after that, you have to pay. Unlike some reading apps, where you watch an ad or earn points to read a chapter, you have to pay. You end up paying more for one story than you would for a hardcover book with gold-edged pages. Go to your local library and read for free.

It seems like beastiality with dogs & horses, based on the book titles. *Cringe* I made sure not to pay because of all the reviews on scamming $30 in 3 days. So be careful.

Do not download this app. It states you get a trial for 7 days for 0.99 but after 3 days they charge you $30! There is no way to cancel in the app that clearly says cancel, BUT TO CANCEL YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN ACCOUNT THEN GO IN AND CLICK ON YOUR PROFILE, and DELETE PROFILE. Only then does it cancel the autopay through PayPal!! Once I did that, PayPal sent me a notification that my autopay was cancelled.

Did the 99 cent trial instantly changed the price to $29.90 and charged me both gave fake instructions to cancel the account been going back and forth with the service email for over a week keep getting the same 2 emails we can’t find your email for the subscription and we need your PayPal account number. All the while trying to take out $29.90 and $19.90 everyday I changed bank cards a payment made it through unfortunately the only way to get them to stop trying to steal your money is to call your bank and report them as fraudulent. Read reviews before you download apps I usually do but you live and learn I guess.

Bogus charge
Just like another reviewer, I signed up for $0.99 per week subscription on 9/14 and on 9/17 I got charged $29.90. On the subscription agreement there are instructions on how to cancel but when I look under settings, NovelQ is not listed under the subscriptions so I can’t cancel that way. This app is not listed in App Store and only found this download page when I searched on Google. I would like my money back for the $29.90 subscription that I did not sign up for.

THIS APP IS A SCAM
I paid the 0.99 for the trial. After attempting to read one story, I decided to cancel the subscription. Except they charge you directly instead of going through the App Store like they state, and they collect no information other than how to steal your money. I found an email to contact, I have been trying to get this cancelled, but I keep being told they can’t find a subscription with that email. I’ve provided the user ID the app gave me and my email, but lo and behold, they can’t find it, but they were able to charge my account this morning.

Total scam
I paid .99 cents for a week and was billed twice in less than a weeks time for 29.90. Company is refusing to issue a refund stating they had a right to do so but their terms of service say otherwise. Clockwise is a scam company and they create fraud on your bank account don’t buy the stories. You have to email them to cancel it and they refused to be an honest company.
