Doppl is an early experimental app from Google Labs that lets you try on any look and explore your style. Experiment with bold new looks, discover unexpected combinations, and explore different parts of your personality through fashion.

Simply upload a full-body photo, or select an AI model, and Doppl lets you “try on” any look or style.
TRY ON OUTFITS FROM YOUR CAMERA ROLL
See an outfit you love on social media, a blog, or even a friend? Upload an image from your camera roll and turn that inspiration into your next look.
SEE YOUR LOOKS IN MOTION
Add video animation to see how an outfit might look with motion to bring your style to life.

Horrendously slow

Basically useless if you’re out shopping - I waited probably 3-5 minutes to see what I looked like in a shirt and it just kept loading and loading. It just never loaded lol. And I know I had internet - 5G plus LTE. I am literally leaving this review on the same wifi. Very dissatisfied lol

Fun app!

Fun! It feels like a peek into the future of shopping, even if the future is still a little weird and clumsy.

Lots of promise

This app has a lot of promise but also some glaring issues.
1. The images and videos are very low res which removes a lot of the detail from the clothes.
2. The guardrails on what clothes can be tried on is very puritan and also just depends on the angle.
3. It would be great if we could choose the video animation.

Unreliable

The app either crashes or says the clothing is too sexual, even if it fully covers the body. When it works it looks weird.

Glimpse into future

Doppl gives fun simple & surprisingly realistic draping and movement. i can see this reduce uncertainty and potentially save me from endless returns.

Is google aware that men wear clothes too?

App seems like it's tailored just for women which is a bummer. It also just wouldn't work on my phone, I tried multiple photos and it kept giving me either an error message or crashing.

Useless app unfortunately.

I don’t care what I look like. So this app is for my wife and daughter to use. Unfortunately the moderation is so severe that it makes the app unusable. I tried to make 30 outfits and it let me make 2 or 3. Almost every thing was flagged for potential violation. I then tested it with a random overweight person and everything worked. So this app is not for women who are in good shape I guess. Good idea but needs a lot of work.

Good start

For the most part decent results, if not always exactly like the outfit, but at least the effect is believable. The video posing previews could be longer like 5-6 seconds

It can be a game changer

This animation is super smooth. I’m happy I don’t have to go to the store and hassle with those tiny fitting rooms anymore. It's really cool to see how much this has come along!

Half baked and rushed

It’s clearly a rushed product. My picture looks weird and blown up. Take your time and put some thought and design into the app. It looks like they made some AI model spit out some code and published it. Lame!

Makes shopping 10x easier

This app is amazing it lets you see what any clothes look like on your body and you can even animate a photo and get a little model animation to really see how you move in some outfits. Amazing app!

Doesn’t work

I was really truly excited about this so I hate writing this review, but it doesn’t work.
When I upload an image to “try on” the outfit never loads, and I get a message saying something went wrong and to submit feedback. But there’s no clear way to submit feedback other than the App Store, which is out of the way.
This is such a cool concept, I I truly hoping this bug gets fixed because I can’t wait to try this out!

Odd that the app doesn’t work at all

Strange that Google would put out an app that doesn’t seem to work at all. I chose one of the models that resembles my body type then selected various combinations of outfits from single or multiple screenshots. The app whirs away for a bit then simply…does nothing … returning me to the main screen. This app does..nothing?

Messes up my face

Idk why but it jacks up my face no matter what I wear. And the outfit suggestions are ugly lol. Also had the worst time signing in I had to delete it and redownload it
