Lore: Interactive Stories is an interactive fiction app that places you at the center of immersive, character-driven stories. Explore romance, mystery, fantasy, and drama through interactive scenes, meaningful choices, and conversations with characters who have their own goals, secrets, and perspectives. Absolutely love playing and stories are intriguing but don’t advertise an all-access subscription but no way to access. I’ve emailed the developers twice and still no response. Customer service is certainly lacking so respond to your paying customers and will certainly improve the rating!

I’ve read many books from several different apps and this one is by far the best. It is so easy to get submersed in the stories. My ONLY complaint is the time between chapters and they just don’t have many stories yet. I hope they continue to add more and maybe can increase the rate they put out. You guys rock at Lore 🥰

It’s actually really good. The stories are very entertaining. The whole scenery they use is amazing. AI or not. I’ve been playing nonstop. I wish they had more stories though. It does charge you like around 10 dollars per month but trust me ITS WORTH IT. You don’t need any gems or have to pay money all the time to make a single choice like other apps.

The BEST interactive stories
Okay so this is the best interactive stories app in my opinion. The stories are interesting, the conversation flows so well. I love how you progressively earn your relationships. The chat feature is a plus. The BEST feature I believe is the subscription. A monthly $9.99 subscription, you get to choose whatever choices you want & you don’t have to worry about constantly spending money on gems. The only thing I wish is that there were more completed stories & that we could change the main characters in at least skin tone, so we could all feel included. Overall GREAT APP

I think this game is an amazing idea and could be so much fun but not getting to play unless you pay $12.99 a month is completely ridiculous. I understand not letting everything be free but the game is unplayable without a monthly subscription that most people don’t have the money to pay for. Would be so much better if there was a free version where you could still play but maybe only so many characters a day then if you pay you can play as much as you like. I really wanted to like this game but it cost way too much. Very disappointing.

Interesting, but…
I love the concept but I think the execution could be better. I don't think you should be forced into being a female as the default, and gender locked as female for every story. I want an app with diversity and inclusivity. It’s part of why I love the Choices app so much. You get to choose and they aren't all just catered to 1 gender.

Unfinished stories = subscription
The app works fine and if you’re willing to pay a sub fee for it then their “not paying for options” rings true, but overall it’s just like every other app like this. There aren’t many stories on this to begin with and the majority of them aren’t finished with the wait time between chapter releases being 2 weeks. This is how they get people to pay for the subscription.
You’re still locked into the direction they want the story to go and your choices have little consequence. The clothing choices have no bearing on how anything progresses. The messaging often times doesn’t align with what’s going on in the story and nothing you do between chat, messaging and the main actions affect one another.
I liked it at first but given the capabilities of AI now this whole platform is very limited.

This beats every other story app I’ve played. It’s also crazy inexpensive in comparison. Love all the stories and the only issue I have is that I wish there were a million more.

Needs more player choice
Lore has potential, but right now it feels way too limited. There are only eight stories available, and in every single one you’re forced to play as a female main character. That makes the app feel restrictive, especially for players who want to see themselves in the story.
Please add stories with male main characters, or even better, let players choose who they want to play as. More story options and better character choice would make the app much more enjoyable.

Great but…
I really want to give this 5 stars because the storytelling genuinely is that good. The writing is engaging, the characters feel layered and memorable, and your choices actually matter. Actions have consequences, people remember what you said or did, and relationships feel consistent instead of reset every chapter. That kind of continuity makes the world feel alive, and honestly, it’s one of the strongest parts of the game for me.
What’s holding me back are two issues that really affected immersion.
First, there’s no real character customization for the main character, like hair color and skin tone. In The Fate Game specifically, the protagonist looks *so* similar to another character that there were moments I was genuinely confused about who I was looking at. In a story-heavy game where you’re supposed to connect with your character, not being able to make them feel visually distinct takes away from the experience. Even basic customization options would help players feel more attached to their route and make scenes easier to follow.
Second, and honestly the bigger frustration for me, is the naming system. If you want to replay different routes and give each version of your main character their own name, you can’t. Changing the name in one playthrough changes it across *all* playthroughs. For a game built around replayability and different story paths, that feels like a huge oversight. A lot of players like treating each route as its own version of the story with its own personality and choices. Having every save locked to the same name makes the routes blur together and takes away some of the fun of replaying.
I still think the game is incredibly well written and absolutely worth playing for the story alone. The emotional continuity and attention to consequences are better than a lot of games in this genre. I just think a little more freedom with customization and separate route identities would push this from a really good experience to an easy 5-star one for me.

Love the App but….
I love playing this app. But they false advertise say you don’t have to pay for jewels and for choices like the Episodes app. What the advertisement doesn’t say is you have to pay a subscription to continue after your free trial session ends. I get it, you do that to appeal to people but I think not should be more upfront about it. I think not would be more worth it once the stories are more done and there are options to change the look of the main character.

I could understand the $59 yearly if there was like a “perk insentive” type thing like early access to chapters, new relationship achievements, unlimited chatting/ messaging. It sucks cause I am at the new chapter that just dropped today (May 8th) and now at Chapter 17 I gotta pay kinda upset about that after having to wait.

I’m 26 and I love this game
It is shockingly fun, you can text the characters and that’s one of the best parts. It is genuinely immersive. Outside of some small bugs, it’s a fun game! I hope it continues to be enjoyable. I have only played one story so far, I’m not done with it and I’ve been playing for about two hours.

Seems good but limited
I was excited when I found this app and saw it had some of the same writers as Netflix Stories. But I was disappointed to see that you can’t customize the player character in the stories, specifically their gender. Hopefully they add that eventually, as Netflix Stories was one of the more inclusive stories apps out there and none of the other ones I’ve found match its inclusivity and its storytelling quality.

Amazing game!
This is quite literally the best interactive story game I’ve played, and that’s coming from someone who’s played Episode for the last five years. I also recently tried Enjoy AI, which was pretty good but still nothing compared to this game. What really sets it apart is the stories feel extremely immersive and they blend a mixture of static storytelling with interactive movement gameplay. Every chapter keeps you wanting more and I really like that you can truly make choices that will affect the outcome. The only critique I would say is agreeing with some of the other reviewers, it would be nice to see more diversity in the characters you get to play as. Overall to the developer, please keep doing what you’re doing and please do not ever add in app purchases. Keep it just the way it is! Looking forward to exploring more.

The best Interactive Story App Out There

This game is so fun and easy to get into it is really interactive and I've played every story out so far and I even played through one story twice and truly got completely different outcomes . AI Trash
Was looking forward to this game as it promised no heavy in app purchases like Episode or similar games that make you purchase gems for a better storyline. It wasn’t until i came across the chat interface that i realized this game was nothing more than a sandbox for AI to gather information on how us humans chat and communicate. I’m not a fan of AI and i won’t be a part of this farce of a game that clearly has a larger agenda in regards to learning the nuances of human language and interaction for a much larger and more sinister agenda. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but don’t call me stupid.

Great. Format is in edible. High quality. Always believed the subscription method made the most sense. Only down side is that as a woman of color, the main characters are all white. There are no options to create a character who looks like me or any real diversity. Four stars. Would have been five it customization were an option. This will be the best story app… in a year
For 9.99 a month subscription, there are no completed stories and a new chapter releases every two weeks. The subscription will be well worth it when stories are completed. The stories are engrossing, well developed, best format of any story app.
I just don’t like the $10 a month price tag to get two chapters a month and you only receive 2 paths. You have to pay for more if you want to replay more than once.

So much potential!
The good - I absolutely love the writing. It's surprisingly good especially compared to most interactive stories. The writing alone almost makes up for the negatives I have, almost being the operative word. The animation style is gorgeous. I also think the price for membership for a year is a really fair price comparatively to similar apps.
The bad - I don't like that there isn't an option to reread a single chapter or start from whatever chapter you choose. If you mess up or want to change something you have to start completely over. It's irritating and disappointing. However the absolute biggest issue I have with this app and potentially the reason I'll most likely end up having to delete it - there's zero customization. You can choose your name and that's it. Personally that's a huge no for me. It defeats the purpose of choosing an interactive story over traditional reading. You don't get to truly put yourself in the story without being able customize. I'm hoping that'll change in the future but if not I'll probably move on to something that's more interactive. At the bare minimum being able to choose your race, hair color, and eye color would make a world of difference. But as it stands now I've only gotten to read one story because playing/reading without basic MC choices fully takes me out of the story.
Lastly, it seems to take a while for releases to drop but that's not unbearable.

Only on second story, but I enjoy how it’s setup and conversations with characters flow well. Kind of like sims where you earn your relationship with characters so you can decide what kind of relationship and how intimate it gets. Keeps you engaged, no weird coins you have to earn or pay for to get the next chapter. The first one I’ve done wasn’t complete, but for the price I think I’m willing to pay to see what they can do with the app. Need a RH option so I don’t have to choose 😂.

Needs work
Interesting concept and I like that I can type my own responses, however, it needs some work. Characters are supposed to track along with the storyline, but pretty early on in the Outbreak story, Eli doesn’t realize Bailey is not with me… I even mentioned it and he argued. lol. Just an example, but I appreciate the concept but this game is not ready.

Great app and immersive storytelling
I was on the fence when I saw this app, as I also read Romance Club as well. I downloaded it and after finishing the first story, signed up for a monthly subscription. I love the chat feature that is included with the stories so when you’re waiting for a new chapter to release, you can always go to your favorite stories and have free chats which I like. It is a newer app and I am guessing a smaller developer, so it does take weeks for a new chapter to start. Regardless it’s worth the wait.

Absolutely loved the stories on this game! Costs you very little to have the full experience, and each interactive story is very intriguing. Only downside is this is very clearly a game that is either just starting out, or has a small developer team so you do have to wait weeks for next chapters to come out. Absolutely will come back to play this game in the future when more chapters are released / stories are finished!

Best app ever
I NEVER do subscriptions. like ever. But you best bet I am for this app lol. You can tell that the story writers and app developers put their ENTIRE heart and soul into this game. It’s perfectly fine-tuned, incredibly immersive, and way more entertaining than any show I’ve ever watched. Like I want to put into words how amazing this app is, but ai just can’t. I’m gonna straight up say that this is the best game I’ve ever downloaded. I can’t imagine all of the thought and hard work that goes into it. You can tell that nobody cut a single corner. The possibilities are endless, and everything you do changes the outcome of a story. I can not say enough good things about this app. It’s my new favorite thing lol. 💗

Love the stories (mostly), love the art work, the ai chats are next level. I do wish there was slightly more variety in the plot progression. Some things happen even if you have a bad relationship with that person. Taking off one star since recent releases screwed up the AI chats and texts. I’m interested in making this content
This has been one of the best AI based gameplay that has amazing storyline and actually is really good and captivating. I also want to make this one of those gameplay that actually get seen on TikTok and I don’t think a lot of people actually know about this game because of the fact that there’s not enough exposure and it’s really good I wish all of the chapters were unlocked, but actually that just makes you even want to play it even more cause you have to wait for the next chapter. Majority of the chapters are already up so it’s just an actual LORE

Loving It So Far
Honestly this one of the best interactive stories apps I’ve played. Paying a once a month fee for unlimited access to the stories is so much better. And once you get an understanding of how to talk to the ai in the chats it really helps you get into the game. Only downside is how long you have to wait between new episodes once you get through everything. Only reason I’m giving it a 4/5 stars because it I’m paying for a game i have to wait days to continue playing.

My biggest complaint in the wait between chapters, I just want to play endlessly with zero waiting. But I guess I can’t take away a star just because the engineers can’t do the impossible…
There’s a been a couple of bugs, but customer service fixed them right away and replied to me personally. The game is great, the people running seem great, I have zero qualms giving them my money.

Fun and creative!
I really enjoy how super interactive these stories are. I like that there are chat elements to the stories as well to add more variety to the gameplay. I wish we could customize our own characters but I’m not sure how complex that would be for this type of detailed interactive fiction. Pointless unless you pay up
You get 3 stories and you can play the first chapter. That’s it. Everything else is behind a paywall. No option to watch ads or wait for the next day to play a chapter like other apps. No, you have to pay otherwise it just takes up memory on your phone and it’s useless. You can’t customize your look. It has the potential to be a cool app if they find a way to not completely block off 90% of the app

I love reading and this is such a fun way to play through a bunch of different stories.
