Cool concept but not much to do
I’ve been playing for a couple of days and have gotten a few monsters I like but besides the daily battle there is not much to do. The daily battle only is two monsters that are the same every time and don’t give much for rewards. There needs to be more activities to do per day to build up my coins and strengthen my creatures.

Awesome game and amazing idea
I love the game one of the very few gripes I have is that there is so little to do with your monsters. I want to engage them in more types of fights similar to the Daily Challenges. More monsters to fight daily. I feel like the game kind of end within a few minutes of playing each day.

I get board and download random games and happened to download this one. I probably spent most of the night scanning stuff in my apartment. I love the direction of the game but I would like to see some peer battling and maybe the ability to self mod a monster. Overall I’m gonna keep this app and see what an amazing future it holds.

Very fun! But needs some fixes
This game is awesome. First and foremost. Very unique and the monsters you get look amazing! That being said: some of the mechanics in game need fixing. Healing has to cap at some point. It gets ridiculously expensive to heal your monsters, and take Very long once you heal them too many times. This will take away from the game’s longevity. How can you keep up with an infinitely growing expense? It will eventually make your monsters unusable…
ALSO there should be a way to withdraw from King Of The Hill Private games!! It’s not fair to have your monster trapped in there for 24+ hours because no one wants to join! Thank you and keep up the great work!

Great, Unique Game
I think this game rocks. It is incredibly fun to take barcodes off of random stuff and see what monsters the game makes out of them.
I would like to see a feature that shows the player which product they scanned for each of their monsters. That way, I could look back at monsters I made a while ago and remember what I scanned to make them.
I would also like to see a way to play the game outside of the two daily modes, as the gameplay is a bit sparse. Otherwise, this app is awesome.
I really enjoy how the monsters change their appearances when you add items to them.

Great Game!
My buddy sent me this game to try and it ended up being super cool. You can scan any bar code and make a monster and fight with them, it’s fun to just go around scanning things and comparing monsters.

Amazing and looking forward to more features!
I’ve got about ten people to download and spend money on this app so far! We are loving it, and we have some suggestions for future updates. The option to revert the image after a transformation. Sometimes transforming makes them less amazing. FRIENDS LISTS would be so womderful and also a chat feature maybe even guilds . The ability to trade would be incredible. And one on one battles with friends Pokemon style. All in all it’s a wonderfully fun and we’ve all been having a blast and are eager to see what the future brings for this fun little gem.

Great game that needs a few tweaks
This game is a lot of fun. Scanning anything and being able to turn it into an AI monster is always interesting. The main problem with this game for me is that my monster get more expensive to heal/ take longer in the healing chamber after every fight with no way to bring the costs down. This makes monsters become theoretically obsolete after they become too expensive to use anymore. There needs to be a way to decrease the price overtime for this game to have more longevity for me.

Not really anything to do…
Scanned 2 barcodes. Got 2 AI image generated monsters that were kinda cool. There are only 2 game modes to play. King of the hill, or Challenge. Both my monsters were quickly crushed and now listed as “defeated” you have to spend coins to get them back. 5 per. (These coins are used to get new monsters too.)
So, spend the 10 coins to revive and try again. Immediate fail. No XP, no ability to level up my guys. Just, defeated. I fought only lvl 1 guys mind you. So I should have had a reasonable ability to succeed.
As such, this game is a clear obvious cash grab scam. They offer basically 1 feature and 1 only. Scan a barcode get a cool monster generated by AI. Then frustrate you into buy coins? Surely they see how everyone is just going to uninstall… it’s what I did.
Don’t waste your time or your battery folks.
Edit: I’ve played a bit more and you can scan as many barcodes as you can find and get more coins. So I take back the comment about defeated monsters. That said, please add more content. Only 2 battle modes gets boring.

Really love the concept. It reminds me of skannerz or I think it was called invisimals for the psp so when I saw this I was psyched and full of nostalgia. The execution just unfortunately isn’t there for me. I really hope In the future a more proven developer takes this idea and makes something great with it.

Really enjoy the game! Fun to play, no ads, and super early so lots of room for improvement and feedback that can be given to the developers on how the game is going. Really like what your doing here guys. I hope to see at some point maybe something like a “monster of the week” where you can vote on who’s monster is the coolest looking! Fun, But here’s my Wishes
Overall pretty fun deck style battle game. Things i wish to see/feature.
1.) I’d like the ability to save creature images to my camera roll.
2.) The ability to fuse damage elements would be cool, and maybe it could clear an item slot when doing so.
3.) Improvement on the monster screen maybe, like have them look more like cards?
4.) improve the battle screen. Maybe have the cards appear, kinda like the Hearthstone game type battle?
5.) I’d be willing to purchase a founder bundle, with exclusive founder reusable permanent items, if this game is going to improve and remain for the long run.

Don’t play unless you plan on spending money
I played the game a bit and it’s decent however if you lose all of your monsters and you don’t have any coins you’re basically soft locked and can’t do anything unless if you spend money. There should’ve been an option like “watch an ad for 5 coins” but no that’s doesn’t exist here. Please make something to fix this

This is one of the BEST applications of AI in gaming, scan barcodes, AI turns it into a creature and then you can battle with your friends with your toilet paper or deodorant or books! You get 50 coins to start, and 50 free coins from the market per day. It costs 10 coins to “summon” a creature from a barcode but you also get anywhere between 3-10 coins per scan and items like potions and equipment. It’s currently sitting fairly fresh but the developer is actually very attentive and the fanbase is growing. You can level and evolve your creatures with potions, equip weapons and give alternative attacks, and see how your team stacks up against the community. There are micro-transactions but from what I can tell, anything you could buy you can also just earn by playing! No pay walls, no pay to win, just pure fun!

Promising Future
This game is going to go far. The most recent update shows not only does the developer listen, but they also work hard to improve the game in the ways it needs. I wish I had access to Reddit so I could participate in the active community that the dev also listens to. Perhaps an official discord would be useful? But, I fully recommend the game and supporting it is worth it.

Skannerz!
I’ve wanted something like this for so long! Back in the early 2000s, I would scavenge the house searching for barcodes to scan with my Skannerz device. A few years ago, I remembered the fun I had with the Skannerz as a kid and tried to find one of the devices to relive my childhood. The devices were hard to find and if you could find them they were pricey. Looked into mobile games and no one had created one yet. Thanks so much for making this!

Having a Lot of Fun
I am having so much fun on this stupid little game. Not gonna lie I have already spent a few bucks here n there. It’s just fun going around scanning barcodes n fighting other peoples Warcodians? Warcodes? Warcodes is maybe my only gripes with the game so far, odd name choice but, what can you do, the game is entertaining so you forget about it’s odd name or less that stellar UX. Something I would change is an ability to sort your Warcodians with various filters or sorting function.. maybe also a way to back out of your position on the king of the hill thing so you could keep fighting. Again, the game is simply entertaining can’t wait to keep playing.

Would love to see a feature where you can see what code the creature was made from after already spawning it. Maybe just on the sidebar of each monster panel.

Great but
Incredibly entertaining game with a ton of potential. The concept is cool, the monster generation is SUPER fun and addicting, and the combat system is interesting once you understand it. I even found myself excitedly hunting barcodes to see what monsters I could get. Very excited for future updates. I’ve seen the dev responding to people all over the internet, and they’re clearly passionate and working on updating the game.
But… in its current state, it’s borderline unplayable to f2p(or low spending) players. Unless you have access to unlimited barcodes or a load of time to go to stores, playability runs out in about a day for f2p players. It takes way too long to heal defeated monsters for how easy it is to lose a fight. Using coins speeds it up, but currently the only way to earn those coins ingame is pvp against the p2w players, which quickly uses more coins than you earn. Like smashing your head against a brick wall. I’ve seen that the dev plans to add more game modes though, so I’m hopeful that it’ll get to a good spot in the future.
All that said, it’s still worth trying even if you don’t plan to stick around, as its uniqueness is something you’ll be glad to have tried.

Not sure at first, but have found myself really enjoying it.
At first I just found it to be a slightly interesting concept. After a few days of exploring it and actually realizing I could place my monsters on the King of the Hill locations, I found myself casually doing so with glee every now and then throughout the day.
I recommend this game for anyone looking for a casual one handed game that they can quickly pull out whenever, with no time pressures in the game.
Also, I’ve been showing all my friends because we have all been enjoying the scanning part. Every friend I’ve shown has gotten that spark of curiosity and excitement going when they think of something that might make a cool or funny monster!

The concept of making monsters out of virtually anything is honestly really cool and inventive. The AI generation sometimes messes up but that’s to be expected with AI and for the most part gives you some really cool (or really gruesome) monsters. The game is a little bare bones at the moment, but I think it’s literally just one guy working on it so that’s forgivable. As more content for the game comes out, I’m sure it’ll be even more addictingly fun than it already is.

Seems like this game has an incredible concept (barcode scanning ai monsters). But it needs more to do. I didn’t mind spending a few bucks to do some extra scanning (too much fun). Great Idea.
Got the game, played the game, enjoyed the game. Spent some money too support, ground out resources for a day of battling, got excited, logged in and game is utterly broke, tried everything (EVERYTHING), can’t do even basics to enjoy the game anymore, dev was helpful but since my issues was so rare I’ve just sat in limbo for over 24 hours unable to play now that I have time off.
Not a bad game, needs more content, and great idea.
2 stars for the experience though as I don’t believe 1 star is just overall fun I had when I could play.

Great “game, but not much instructions on what to do…
So I’ll do it for you. As a new player… you start off with 50 gold coins. Summoning a monster, by scanning a barcode, costs 10 each. You only start out with 5 slots with $0.99 adding another 10 slots… that’s reasonable. Now… what to do once you run out of gold coins?? Keep scanning barcodes. You will accumulate a LOT of possible monsters to summon, but you will also gain 2-10 gold coins per barcode. If you’re going grocery shopping or stopping by a store for something… scan whatever you can. You will need the coin to revive/heal your defeated monsters. Level them up by competing in the “king of the hill” events. There’s the campaign mode as well, but it is a little difficult with base monsters not being leveled up. Now… during this time you might come across nifty things in barcodes called “items”. These will actually mutate/evolve your monsters. I have items that add a sword (giving it another attack) to others that alter the appearance of a monster. Here’s the interesting thing… it doesn’t look like a monster can evolve once! But this should help a new player get the basics. Level up your monsters and accumulate coin through scanning barcodes!

Fun idea
There’s just not much game to play. You can fight 2 bosses which is like 10 minutes and if you have a hill there’s nothing for you to do. You can’t fight or level up or quest or anything.
It’s more of a rough idea than a full game. I would even fight monsters for barely any rewards to see how they play but once you win a fight you can’t really do anything else.
Also after the king of the hill is over for the day you literally have no game to play there is nothing you can do except wait for 7am when they open the game again.

Good concept bad reward system and feels pay to play and win.
Not really many ways to gain the coins needed to generate new things unless you pay money, and when you run out of coins even after battling and everything’s dead no way to heal your monsters unless you find a way you can scan and get a healing thing. But I’m out of coins and all monsters dead and no other way to gain more coins free to keep playing . Didn’t last long but good concept.

Really Enjoyable Experience
I got to say, I’ve been having fun with this game. The generated art is always really interesting and king of the hill keeps me on my toes. I’ve been looking around the house for barcodes on things to keep playing this game! I can’t wait for your healing update as my most powerful guys rn cost so much to revive. Also I really hope you could add something like a campaign and also friendly battles that could have multiple monsters in your party. Another suggestion could be making a way to get more creature capacity without spending money. Overall, great game and I hope it gets popular!

The idea of battling totally randomized AI generated monsters from barcodes is a fun and genius idea. It’s very addicting in its current state, but can’t help but feel it is lacking. Game includes daily king of the hill style battling based on level of monster (levels 1-5 only). It also includes the option to send an invite to someone to play with directly. That is all as of now. While the daily king of the hill is great, though better before it limited you to being able to only hold 1 spot in the rankings, the game needs more. Possibly team battles, regional ranking battles, weekly king of the hills, location based battles, etc. Achievements with rewards based on obtaining certain types would be interesting to see. “Have one monster of each attack type” to receive a monster upgrade. One dislike is that the color changing is essentially a hindrance as it counts as an item slot without benefit. It should have at least a change to give the related color ability type or add that resistance type. Or not count as an item slot at all with a limit of color changing once on each monster. This game has a lot of room for growth and a lot of potential!

Amazing concept minimal features
Okay, the game is pretty dang new right now so bear with me.
The concept is incredible, scan random junk you buy, make ai monsters to battle. Freaking amazing I love it. Right now there are just daily challenges and king of the hill missions, limited but good. I really REALLY hope this game takes off because things like guilds, more vs modes and friend invites/lists would be an amazing addition, right now it’s worth getting in on the ground floor of it but I really hope there’s more to come!!

I just found this game today and I love the scanning for monsters idea!
It has been super fun finding barcodes and seeing what I get.
The game gives you coins for scanning barcodes and you don’t have to make a monster out of whatever you scanned so it’s a easy way to stock up on some coins.
The game has a great core, but I do with there was more to do.

Great idea and getting better every day
The concept of this game is so cool and the recent update adds a ton to it! Way more transparent from understanding how the battle mechanics work and more to do in the meantime! My only complaints are that healing your monsters costs more money every time you do it so I find myself just deleting monsters I would’ve kept but are too expensive to maintain.

This is a really new game with lots of potential and a passionate creator there are bugs now but give it time and it’ll be a great mobile app. All the poorer reviews just don’t seem to see how new the game is and that it’s a solo developer, he’s not making thousands and robbing you for a dollar charge, anything you want to pay for you can play for. Has promise, needs work yet.
I loved the Scannerz game as a kid. This game came up in my Reddit feed, so I gave it a shot. It’s interesting, but it needs documentation on what types are generally weaker to others. It also could use some sort of sorting of Monsters, maybe by attack, health, etc.
If it gets more features, I have a few people I can recommend it too, but I’ll wait until there’s some improvements to it first.

This game is such a blast with every single monster spawned being incredibly unique with any monster having the capability to be competitive. Can’t wait for additional items and strategies to make my monsters even more unique!

Great potential just dosent really have much
I love the premise of the game, scan barcodes, earn coins, spend some to heal and train and buy items. There just isn’t really allot that’s mentioned on like how to do much, since it’s a pretty barebones app as it is I will review back when there is more.

Just Very Early
The game is barebones. I love the concept, like the old scanner toys I had when I was a kid. The only thing to do is join the events, which you cannot beat with level 1 monsters. But the only way to level up is to grind it, which involves scanning more barcodes to heal your guys. I dont think anyone wants to walk around scanning barcodes all day, it’d be better to just create monsters youd think would be cool based on a few product barcodes, then have another way to get coins.

Not really much to do. There’s a battle system but it’s through invite codes only. Account deletion, while offered, is only doable through a google survey. I’ll probably check back in a few months and see if anything’s changed.

The best creature collector you can play
Probably the most innovative and unique, creature collector you can play. My children, my wife, and all of my friends are obsessed with seeing all of our household objects being transformed into monsters to battle it out with each other. If you ever played any of the old barcode scanner games like Scannerz, barcode battler, etc, then you need to play this. It's the logical evolution of the genre and I cannot wait to see where it goes from here. 10/10 most fun I have ever had with AI.
