Too Many Bugs Every Year
Login info not accepted. Would not send me the email code when trying to reset password. Had to create new account. Now not accepting district code listed therefore I cannot add my child or view bus information. Not user friendly when setting up bus route notifications. Last year I had to call the school for bus info which is hard to do until first day of school. Could not get it working until after school began. Here we are again, 2 weeks until school starts & I have no bus information.

Great App!
This app gives me such peace of mind in the wild world we live in. Being able to confidently see the bus on a map and being notified when the bus is close to picking up or dropping off my babies is something all school districts should offer.

The new app has been great! The multiple customizable distance notifications have been accurate and helpful, and I love being able to see my kiddo’s status on the map.

Custom Distance Notifications!
I like that I can set up 3 distance notifications to alert me when my student’s bus is getting close to the stop. It’s a really helpful feature and will especially be helpful once the weather gets cold!

Downgrade
This app is a big downgrade from FirstView Classic. You can no longer select a specific stop. You can only select a route. You can no longer see the ETA of the bus arriving at your stop. All you can do is create a notification for the address of the stop and get notified when the bus reaches your desired distance away. This doesn’t work great when the bus is driving around the neighborhood in and out of the radius. Please bring back the features from the classic version.

Awful
The school just moved to this new app. It's awful. Half of the time it won't alert me when the bus is near. And this morning it just deleted all of my kid's routes. I tried multiple times to add the routes back, but it won't let me. I deleted the student profile and tried starting from scratch. Nothing. I deleted the app and tried starting over again. Nothing. It keeps asking if I want to set notifications and then tells me I can't actually do that because he doesn't have any routes. AND THERE IS NO WAY TO ENTER THE ROUTES!

Not such a great app
This app is horrible at times I can’t see the bus on the app sometimes it doesn’t update quickly enough. I have missed my bus multiple times because the app didn’t work. It sometimes says that there is no trips for me.

The new interface is clunky. It doesn’t show me where I am. It doesn’t zoom into the area near the bus. They made it worse.

Can’t log in
It’s not letting me log in and when I go to send code to email I never receive it. I’ve waited hours. But I know my password is right because I can log in the first FirstView. Makes absolutely no sense.

Not good right now for me
The school is switching to this version in 3 days from the first blue version. I’ve had it installed and it won’t let me click next after setting distance notifications, therefore I can’t set a distance notification. Went to open it today and there was an update, so I got excited…… same problem, STILL can’t set a distance notification

3 stars when my kids routes show up
Their routes show up in the app settings, but some days not on the map, like they are set up, but not active for the day (even though the settings show they are). This means notifications don’t work on those days (which are random) AND the route can’t be followed, so we can’t make our own estimation or check that the bus got to school.
Notification are very customizable based on location, but require knowing the route before your kids get on and streets and intersection names (especially if your stop isn’t near outside your house) and there is no simple estimated time like the “classic” version. So you can spend lots of time setting them up for the locations and times you want and then 3 days a week they don’t work anyway.
I wish we could go back to the old app.

Nice clean app. The bus tracking is much smoother than it used to be. But for some reason now there is no estimated arrival time. Otherwise it’s good.

Significantly worse than the other FirstView
Not sure why our school moved to this other app. It's so unintuitive. The UI is awful. Unlike the other FirstView app, this one has zero indication of estimated time til the bus arrives, which we really relied on. Guess I'll have to just guess based on where the bus is now? What's the point of making an app that is worse in every single way than the old one?

Confused as to why there’s a 1.0 and a Classic. My district code works for classic, but different log in for 1.0 and district code isn’t recognized.

The new 1.0 Verison is AWFUL!!!!
The new version is awful. It constantly has my address pulled up in a bubble, so I can’t ready anything. Also, it never gives the estimated time of arrival anymore. It use to say “5 mins”, etc on when the bus would be here. Since our bus is never on time (sometimes 30 mins late), it was nice to have that feature. It doesn’t work on the new version. Furthermore, nothing ever pulls up! Hopefully our school district ends the contract with this app ASAP

Deletes route
I was liking being able to see where my children’s bus is. However lately it keeps deleting their routes and I have to enter them again and again. Gettting very frustrating. My children have to keep adding their bus number and route as well.

Get It Together
First View “classic” was a PITA to set up, but that was more about finding our district/school code on the district’s [poor] choice of info management website.
This go-around, First View “1.0” repeatedly told me my password was wrong, but didn’t send me the requested email to reset (not in junk or spam, I checked). I honestly think they shutter their cloud support overnight b/c when I did a reset yesterday midday, it FINALLY worked & I was able to configure my phone/1.0 app. When I went to apply the same to my husband’s 1.0 app early this morning, back to “Wrong credentials. Try again” & my app was logged out. As above, I’m left thinking I can only coordinate with the app during business/school hours, which does not match my availability. Thank goodness our bus driver runs like clockwork.
P.S. How is the rating 4.5 stars, but the only ratings that show are 2 1-stars??

FirstView Classic works but this 1.0 version just says “Invalid District Code”. It’s pretty useless.

Doesn’t work
Our school moved to this app. We get a pop-up box that says get started. When you click thru, it pops up again. Can’t add a student since the dialog box is open. Haven’t started using and I’m already frustrated. Test it before you adopt it. Test it before you roll out an app for use. Basic
