The Pinter is easy to use, the flavors are great, it helps by walking you through the process real time, and of course, there’s nothing like prepping, mixing, fermenting, cooling, and drinking the beer you made yourself, it’s an amazing system that gives a reward for your easy work. Love, love, love it 100% thanks Pinter!!! You guys are awesome.

Thankful for the bad reviews
I was able to finally use my Pinter thanks for to the negative reviews. Set up a new account and don’t use the password from your Pinter website account. Bizarre that they do it this way, but that’s just the way it is. Also if you set up / name a Pinter and don’t want to start the brew process you’ll have to abruptly close the app to get back to the basic home screen. A fair amount of work is left to be done on this app.

There is no way to navigate easily, the calendar in the app. If you go through the steps to get an idea of the next steps, the app looses all functionality (or at least the calendar). This is one of the reasons why you see their 3 stars

Terrible app
I’ve had this Piner now for two months paying for it and every single time I try to sign onto the account. It doesn’t even give me the option to sign in. It tells me to create a password which I do exactly the way they want it and they’re telling me it’s incorrect no matter what combination I try. I have yet to make 1 pint of beer with this thing because there is no directions on how to do it properly.

Ditch the App
First, I couldn’t log in with the password I created when I signed up online. And I couldn’t create a new account because my email was already taken. Finally got my password changed. Next I discovered that the app just has instructions that could have been printed or simply put on a website. Notifications don’t work and the calendar only displays occasionally in the app. I’ve moved to conditioning now but I have no idea when that ends because it won’t display. Worthless!

Great beer brewing system
My first brew experience was nothing like the Pinter brewing system. The simplicity of getting your beer brewed with a Pinter makes this system the best I have ever used.
The app holds your hand up til the point of first tapping of your beer. Following the cleaning and brewing videos in the app make this a no brainer way to get fresh beer at home. I highly recommend!!

Iron Maiden makes a TROOPER!
I made my own water profile for this brew from distilled water and a London ESB water profile which I created by adding mineral salts. It tastes like cask ale in merry old England! Pinter and Iron Maiden did all the hard work, I added a touch of magic, and the rest is history.

Alternative Co2 Upgrades
Love the whole Pinter concept and all the engineering that went into making it.
My only complaint and hopefully I'm not alone, is the Tap System during 1st and 2nd pours of new brews, releases to much carbonation, causing future pints to pour flat or not at all without opening the Carbonation Dial all the way releasing any pressure left in the Pinter.
Design an alternative Co2 Corny Keg Style Ball Lock, or 16 Gauge Threaded Co2 canisters with Regulator, so the customer can add Co2 as needed to keep the Brew fresh.

Great Tool
This is such a fun process! The beers are amazing, you get detailed instructions, and 16 pints goes a lot further than you would think. My neighbor and I both got one so we get to trade brews and have beer parties! One of the best purchases I’ve made this year for sure. I thought it was kind of expensive at first, when I did the math it comes out way cheaper than buying that much premium beer at a store. Very happy!

I struggled for months, hesitating to buy my Pinter, but funny enough even ended up buying a companion. The app is a little noisy, but overall easy to keep track of your brews. Also takes a bit of time to find things in the app, so do take a tour when you first install it.

Good product - poor support
I’ve only brewed the pear cider in my pint so far. There were some problems with my initial shipment and I had a less than positive experience with Pinter support. After that was settled the Pinter itself worked well. I am enjoying the pear cider and looking forward to my next brew.

Great beer and easy to make
I’ve made all grain and extract batches with all day sessions and Pinter batches that take 15 minutes of effort. (Like any method, you still need at least 10 days of fermentation and conditioning, and more is better). The results have been great tasting beer that friends have compared favorably with local microbreweries. Recommended even if you still enjoy all day brewing sessions with your “big boy” gear!

Beer excellent app lacking a bit
The beer and customer service has been excellent. My biggest complaint with the app is that there is no order integration. I cannot see what and when I previously ordered or what is currently on the way. Rather I have to search through emails.

Need hard stops and clearer instructions
Need to make sure enough time has elapsed before going forward to another step. Specifically if you move to adding hops before enough time brewing the app should stop you or at least let you know. Hopefully beer turns out ok but instructions need to be clearer.

Not the best product or app
I ordered in July. All came no problem and was able to download the app, set ip the account, begin the brewing process, but…after this is where my headaches started.
I couldn’t get access to support as my container was leaking. Then I figured, fine, chalk it up to first time error. I wanted to change my next order. App is buggy and won’t save changes. Contact support. Page is unsecured and when proceeding anyway, the 404 error pops up. I could only pause the next subscription for a max of 2 months. No support. No ability to change order. No ability to cancel. No ability to return. Sad to say I’m throughly dissatisfied. I would not recommend.

Why is an app necessary?
Rather than supplying printed instructions, rather than supplying a webpage where one can view these instructions, purchasers are forced to download an application. This is a frustrating user experience to begin with. Add to that, the annoyance that if you supply the incorrect OTP, you have to wait minutes before you can request another one.. if you enter anything wrong, you have to wait more minutes. Very frustrating experience just to arrive at step one in instructions.

White Screen of Death
Been trying to create account with Pinter on app with zero luck. When I open the app I get a nice splash screen and then it goes white. Nothing beyond that. Started my first brew today so I’ll just wing it and hope for the best. Maybe just an app issue and will get fixed and updated. For now… not impressed.

This app is barley 😂 passable
Some of the graphic instructions are pretty good. The rest of the app leaves much to be desired! Accessing the calendar is nearly impossible anymore. I’m a visual guy and being able to see the calendar is very important to me. Also, some of the tips and tricks should be accessible in the “how to” portion of the tutorials. First brew was incredibly weak because I failed to shake the Pinter enough. Only did exactly what the instructions said. Overall, Pinter as a concept is great. The beer packets are overpriced. The app itself su**s.

So Frustrating
Whoever said this was an easy to use app must work for the Pinter or developed the app. It is NOT easy, intuitive, or user friendly. The swipe right/left or up or down rarely works. And to top it off, Pinter does not send written instructions so you’re sort of screwed with trying to figure it out on your own.

Really easy!
Ok, this is from a real person in Prince George, VA., and not only did I receive my Pinter within 5 days of ordering but I was able to download the app, set up my account and followed the directions with no issues. There are no paper directions in there, so you MUST use the app. To set up, also, do not put your phone number in there just yet because I found out that did not work. I added my number in there, once I was registered and the app was set up. After the purification and brewing started, it even informed me that I would have to wait the required days, before going to the next level. It’s really simple, people, and you must have patience and be able to READ. So far…I’m giving this app 5 stars but I’ll wait until I get to the next stages and then completion. I’ll keep everyone notified.

Keeps crashing
I’m annoyed there needs to be an app for this - completely unnecessary and unfortunately, the devs are not on top of it. The app keeps on crashing (all I see is a white screen). Force-closing app does not help. The only solution thst works for me is to delete and re-install the app. I’m on iPhone 16 Pro
I wish I had the same functionality without an app. The reminder could be a simple calendar invitation or email.

Almost useless service
Everything that you think you would use the app for just opens up the browser. The subscription model is predatory. You are unable to cancel or pause your order before paying, and it’s extremely easy to accidentally make a purchase. Not sure how they got a business license for that reason alone.

Limited functionality, no connection with online account, no reason to exist
Not sure why this app was made other than for them to say “we have an app”. The app requires you to create an account, which is completely separate from your Pinter website account where you will make all your purchases. The “Taste Test” does not save and does absolutely nothing for you as you can’t even see the current beer offering in app without going to the internal browser. Pretty much everything on the app goes through the external browser outside of the brew timer which is needlessly complex and not intuitive. You’re better off setting timers or alarms in your phone and using a post-it note to know what beer you’re currently making.

Can’t cancel without paying
There is no way to cancel subscription without first paying for another round. Even tried doing so through customer service and they said there was no way. So I was forced to buy another round of beer kits I don’t want or need. After several back and forths they said I could apply for a PARTIAL refund

Scam!!! Alert
If you are in any other country other than UK. There is not customer service. Only email communication. The 30 days money back is a scam. The pinter will delivery in week. And takes another 2-3 weeks to brew. So unless you brew and test on time, you won’t be able to make it to the 30 days window. And I am pretty sure they won’t let you return either

Login issues:
Other low reviews report issues with logging into the app. You will be required to enter a one time password from your email and if you don’t enter it correctly the first time you will have to wait 3 minutes before trying again. They do need to fix this part to allow for multiple attempts but other than that the app works fine. No further issues to report. As for having paper instructions I think it would be nice to have in the box with the brew kits but the app is great for the tracking features.

App Instability
I’ve had a couple times where I’ve went into the app and it just displays a blank white page. Had to delete the app and redownload. OTP for text didn’t work, e-mail did. Stage instructions at the bottom are difficult to grab and pull up. Grabs the whole screen like you would to kill an app. Brewing stage tells me the number of days left, conditioning just says “ready to move to next stage”. I do like the detailed instructions with short clips to show what to do on each step once you get into them. Few tweaks could make it much more user friendly.

Good app
Overall a pretty solid app. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit hesitant but they seem to have cleaned up their act. The app is easy to navigate and provides visual examples to begin you on your brewing journey. The sign up for the account did seem a bit lengthy and unnecessary at times (setting up email authentication) but the whole process of setting up my account and finishing step one didn’t take me more than forty five minutes.

Surprised by the poor reviews. I was able to login and found the instructions very helpful and well illustrated with video.
It sounds as if some of the reviewers have not actually used it for brewing which is probably not the best experience.

Good idea, doesn’t work
I like the content displayed in the app but functionality is buggy at best. I would be happier with a functional web based solution. The struggle is that much of the app is a redirection to the web where you need to login again and reorient what you were trying to accomplish. Brew guide/calendar is an excellent idea but doesn’t allow smooth advancement through the stages.
Hopeful for future updates. Beer from my Pinter is great

Not Well Thought Out
The login process on this app is the worst I’ve run into with any app so far. Way too buggy and way too secure for something just to track a brew cycle. Doesn’t even work half the time, so you can’t see where you’re at in the process. Additionally, once you get to the tapping process in your cycle, you completely lose the calendar telling you when you started the brew and did each phase. So if you’re wanting to track progress and take notes for future brews, you have to do that manually elsewhere. Liking my Pinters so far, but the app needs a LOT of work.

Password Problems
As others have stated it you create your account on the web first, then download the app, there are issues. I was able to log into the app successfully but it wasn’t easy.
The app has different password rules than the website. You have to go back to the website and change your password there to conform to the app rules.
The app doesn’t always give a good error message if it doesn’t like your password. For instance if your password has an underscore it doesn’t tell you that it won’t accept an underscore, it just fails and gives you the rules, which tell you to use a special character. Gee I thought underscore was a special character.
The app says “create an account” when you are trying to log in to an existing account. Confusing. But you can log in.
I cannot review the rest of the app yet because I’ve just managed to log in. I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt and give it 3 stars.

Honestly great all around
Bought one shipped n arrived in 2 days, emails n tracking awsome, app use and learnability easy , setup and brewing easy , cold crash and conditioning easy again, tapped it and was top notch. I bought one for brew and were now unloading the pinter into 3 growlers and restarting both ours same day as tapping. If you buy 12 reusable top pint bottles , 18 12oz reusable bottles or 3 growlers u can empty on tap day and restart every 14-15 days

Easy to use app with pics and animations
The app does make you create an account even if you created one through their website. That is annoying. But it walks you through the process of setting the whole thing up the first time and how to brew. It also shows you pictures and has animations showing motions in the process.
I started my first batch, the Dark Matter stout. The app also allows you to set the start time and tells you when the brewing and proofing is scheduled to end. Once the first brew is done I'll let the review know how it turns out.

I created an account and ordered my first pinter from their website and is scheduled to arrive tomorrow!
I downloaded the app and the app wants me to create an account. I already have one that I created on the website. There is no provision to login with your current account if have you already have one. I tried using my current login information but the app appears to not accept my password, not meeting the current requirements? Not sure that’s the problem though. App needs work!
