Adjust Noise Control settings, Be Aware, touch controls, safe listening levels, and sound to your personal preference – or use the presets for JLab Signature, Balanced, or Bass Boost. Plus, get software updates for your product right when they’re available.
Active Noise Cancellation Control
With the new JLab App, you'll be able to increase the active noise canceling from off all the way to max ANC, (on your ANC compatible earbuds) while in the earbuds themselves you can only select on or off.
Be Aware Audio
Bring the outside in. Use the JLab App to increase or decrease the amount of outside noise you let in by adjusting your Be Aware settings. (For Be Aware Compatible earbuds only)
EQ Customization
Fine tune your sound by adjusting the equalizer settings. JLab products come set with three default settings - called Custom EQ3 Sound, which features JLab Signature, Balanced and Bass Boost and a 4th option 'Custom'. Use the JLab App to test and set your own equalizer settings by adjusting Bass (200, 280, 400 Hz levels), Mid-Range (550, 770, 1000, 2000 Hz levels) and Treble (4000, 8000, 16000 Hz levels).
Custom Controls
JLab products come with controls in each earbud that control anything from volume, track changes, play/pause and more. If you'd like to switch the settings, you can customize your controls further via the app.
Safe Hearing
All future JLab models will now support Safe Hearing. Switch between the default output, 95 dB, or 85 dB for a safe listening experience.

It’s an okay app

I love the ambient sounds I just wish the wave sound was a little more soothing. It could be ALOT slower. It’s jolting. I like waves but this one isn’t relaxing. Love the rain sound though. It’s the most natural sounding artificial rain I’ve ever heard. Others can be overstimulating but not this one. I like the bird sounds as well. Overall a pretty good app, the sounds are my favorite feature but the waves could be improved for sure.

Barely works

Speaker won’t connect

When I got the JLab pop party speaker the manual told me that there was an app, and my speaker would connect to it. All the app says is that is connecting and hasn’t connected fully. When I wait a little bit it says connect timeout. I have no idea what this means but please fix it.

I have compatible devices and the app will only let me switch modes 1 times out of 10 uses.. best part is it continues to say aware and noise cancellation over and over and over again but it won’t do what it’s saying either…

Wish there was a tracker!

I love the JLab GO Pop+ earbuds and the different equalizer settings but I do wish there was a tracker function in the app as I am a very forgetful person and lose things very easily.

No OTC Hear

Unfortunately, this app provides zero support for my new OTC hearing aids. Also, it took some real sleuthing when I started picking up strange JLab device names into my Bluetooth dropdown roster of recognized devices on my phone.
Eventually, I discovered that THIS app, not the Hear app, this app was searching the area around my house for devices. The app told me there are 50+ devices in my vicinity. It asked if I would like to list them. Even though I said NO, it still persisted to show and link to one of those vicinity devices. When it did so
it FUBAR’ed the
connection to my devices which I DID want. I had to delete this app to prevent the strays from appearing and interfering with the devices which I DO want to appear & connect to.

LOVE IT!!

I am a very clumsy and forgetful person, so I tend to lose things a lot!! I lost these earbuds and there is a feature on my android that allows me to play a sound on them to find them!! I lost my earbuds today and used that to find them and they ended up being in the DRYER!! They went through a full load in the washer and then they were put in the dryer! They still work perfectly!! I am beyond ecstatic that they still work fine! They still charge and I can heat everything the same! These earbuds were so cheap and the quality is so good! WAY BETTER THAN ANY EXPENSIVE EARBUDS OUT THERE!!

How does this app work?

I was trying to figure out how the app works, after I connected my headphones it didn’t show the same thing that the app claims to do. The only thing that it’s allowing me to do with my headphones is play ambient sounds, I already registered my device and I’m logged in.

Cannot get my microphone to show and work!

My JLab app never asks permission for the microphone, so I cannot grant access, and the microphone feature never works. I have an iPhone. I have deleted, reinstalled, restarted my phone, repaired, nothing seems to work. Headphones work, that’s not all I need it for though.

I was excited to use this app. I have about 5 pairs of the Go Pop+ earbuds and none of them will connect to the app. When I first downloaded this app I got my first pair to connect, but the app never really worked right. Disgusting Support

Device arrived and does not work for TEAMS nor DISCORD. The support was one of the worst experiences I had with support agents. Only thing they told me to do was to claim the warranty. Left and right

I think the app or the earbuds are confused with their left from their right for touch controls. I have left set at pause and right set at next track. I tap the left and it switches song, I tap right and it pauses.

I will probably never buy another pair of JLab headphones because of the worthless, trash-can, dumpster-fire app it uses, and the default touch-sense buttons are as worthless as the app. Did you two-left-hand-having programmers use 7th-grade kids or something? Still getting used to it.

Although, I'm still getting used to it, I find it's not as seamless as implied. There's a delay before it introduces itself every single time I pull an earbud. Once is fine when I first paired it but every single bloody time is rather annoying. Oh and even the smallest ear piece adapter is uncomfortable after 10 minutes on the phone. Additionally, it changes sound back the phone unexpectedly and I have to find the phone and reconnect. That’s pretty annoying too. Like I said I'm not quite used to it. I truly hope I'll amend my review in a few weeks of use. In spite of everything the clarity seems good. Lastly, the app keeps trying to connect with device and always times out.

Unable to connect to server

I have new JBuds Lux ANC headphones and found out that spatial audio is included in the new firmware update that must be done through the app.
Unfortunately, every time I go to “Check for Updates,” it doesn’t work. I just continually get an error popup that says, “Unable to connect to server.”
I even had to go to the website to report this because the support in the app also results in the error message after you go through the trouble of typing in your question. Disappointing.

Not again

When my JBL earbuds stopped working, I bought these JLab earbuds at the Love's truck stop.
They have the best battery life of any earbud I've ever used (Apple & JBL included). Would I buy them again? NO!!!
They will randomly connect to my phone while they are in the storage case then when I disconnect them through settings > Bluetooth, They lose connection to each other. Only one will work. I then have to put them in their case, "Forget device" in settings and while they are still in the case, tap each one seven times quickly to reset them. Then I have to go back to settings (putting them both in my ears first) and wait for them to connect. Does that happen first try? NO!!!
Sometimes I have to reparar this two or three times before they connect and BOTH earbuds work.
Won't be long I'll be making a TikTok showing them be used as target practice with my 300 win mag.

Noise cancellation/ be aware buggy

So I notice there’s no way to just turn off noise cancellation which causes extreme discomfort with prolonged use. Ontop of it when trying to supplement said issue by turning on be aware albeit annoying whenever I try to turn it on it automatically turns itself off and won’t stay on? The slider is constantly graying itself out when trying to adjust it and it’s impossible to use.

Won't connect to earbuds

I wish I could use this app, but it won't connect to my JLab earbuds I just purchased. I can't control them & set up my sound, I'm just going to return them. I even deleted the app & re-downloaded... the app detects them, but never completes the connection. Very frustrating cause I like jlab earbuds for years, but it's time to look for another maker cause these new ones won't connect to app so I can customize.

Chatty much..?

I just want to start off by saying - I got the Jbuds ANC 3 and they are great so far. People usually come to the review sections to complain but the device themselves is fantastic. However, that said, when I change the noise cancelling/"aware" mods setting in the app, is there a reason why the buds need to announce that and pause my music to do so? I want to be able to turn on noise cancelling while listening to a song and not have it talk over my music. If this isn't possible can we release a firmware update that makes this possible? This is my only gripe but it's kind of a big one. Thanks!

Jlab support in accuracy as accordant to IOS

Here I have a Studio Pro, but app only says Studio Pro+ & it’s Bluetooth & the box says download the app while showing the Eq adjust bobs on the box as if the app worked unless it was only because I’m using an iPhone. Otherwise I think Jlab shouldn’t be a company at this point or main consumer but rather 3rd party like everything else

For those having trouble with the Jlab POP pairing, delete the device, then pair it first using the app. Then pair it using bluetooth, it should be connected to the BLE and the earbuds at the same time. Otherwise this app works great!

literally the easiest thing ever.

ik why the reviews are so bad, there is a small which doesn’t connect the earbuds to the app but ik how to get it work so let me tell you!
for reference, i have the go tones+. before you even press the connect a device button, make sure your headphones are charged and connected to your phone. place them near the phone and it should automatically pop up saying your devices name and “connect” just press it. it may pop up before you select the device type so just tap the screen again to make it go down, then select your device type (for me it’s earbuds) and it’ll pop up again and you press connect and boom.

Great app!

This app works great! Was able to easily base boost my Jlab Mini’s!
If you think you did something wrong because it isn’t connecting right, follow the directions in the box or go online and look up what you’re supposed to do. I bet most of these reviews are fake reviews, this app is super easy to navigate and understand.

Settings.

I wish I had known that not all of this products from JL go sport, headphones, or earbuds didn’t have the noise canceling feature. I specifically looked for noise canceling earbuds over the ear feature and was very disappointed. Also, I can’t get the equalizer mode to pop up on the app nor when I tap three times does it let me change it? It’s only beware on or beware off which I don’t really care. It doesn’t cancel ambient noise anyway so why would you need that and the volume can’t be turned up I can’t vacuum and listen to my book at the same time it’s awful.

Not sure what all the hates for?

I bought these at walmart yesterday and without the app, they worked perfectly. With the app they work the same but louder (the way I like it) because of the customization in the app it connected instantly didn’t have to do anything very good for $30! Never had a product from here before but I will be getting more from them if these hold up.

No point in downloading the app

None of the custom features in the little booklet are there (I’m using go air pop). It’s just an ambient noise setting which I can get from any other ambient noise app or just my phone itself, a burn in tool which is useful, the control guide which is just the touch controls from the manual, the the store. Don’t bother downloading and just use your headphones

The App needs to be fixed

I read the reviews about it but I figured it couldn’t be too bad. The reviews are not as truthful as they should be. The app won’t recognize the device but will still allow me to do the burn in feature. Not sure how that works but okay. Just use the headphones if you get them and learn the controls because the app is useless since it won’t connect to it.

Good app

People who rated this app 1 star should check to see if their device is compatible with the app and you have to use the custom eq to customize it. But I haven’t seen any of your apps so I don’t know if that’s the case or not.

Works great!

Not sure what people are complaining about. Got some JLab GO Pop+ earbuds. Paired instantly and respond to the settings and commands on the app. For $25 the buds are pretty good themselves but the customization with the apps makes them even better. My only complaint is that they need to pair each time you want to change something in the app but considering it’s just settings I don’t mind this. Pairs quickly anyways.

What i was looking for

The app is a little buggy sure but it is exactly what i was looking for. I needed to change the tap assignments, particularly the voice control activation. Not gonna try the burn in tool (already had them for a while scared it might mess them up). The ambient sounds are a nice touch.

Awesome Customisation

Granted I've only had these headphones for a day but I freakin love them. They fit perfectly in your ear and they sound great. The app is awesome. It let's you customize your buds in many ways. Well work the price. I'm very happy with them.

At first when I bought them there was no instructions so I did not touch them until today when I found the app. So I put the kind that I had and it gave me super easy instructions

Love it!!

The app is really good I honestly love it and I don’t understand all the negative feedback I am currently using the Jlab Sport+ it’s really good the only thing I don’t understand is why I hear a kind of static - like noise whenever I use the Be Aware mode but overall it is great.

Why have an app that doesn’t work

I own three pair of JLab minis, two go air pops, and I just purchased a pair of the JBL flex. I love my minis. The sound is great and they actually fit my ears. When I purchased the flex, I thought that would be a great way to listen to podcast, but still be able to hear well around me. This app is worthless. I cannot get any of my earbuds to connect to this app so what is the point.

App works for me

Being able to customize controls is very easy and intuitive. It’s also a feature I didn’t have with my 350$ pair of buds. I paid 20$ for this set just to use temporarily, if they can hold up for 6 months I’ll consider this a win.
Im new to Jlab but im loving the value so far.

Good app I just hope that that make it so that it has a tracker of your ear buds because I can’t find mine right now and the tracker would help

Something is wrong and I don’t know if it’s me

I can’t connect my JLab headphones to the app. Every time I open it I make sure I turn on the headphones and make sure it’s connected….when I open the app I press connect device and it automatically shows the picture of my headphones and I press “connect device” and it saids it’s “connecting” but it stays there and nothing happens. And it’s happening all the time and I JUST bought these JLab headphones from eBay. I literally exit the app while it still saids connecting! The headphones are great. I have no problems the headphones itself. I have a problem the mobile app! Please help me fix this or whatever problem it is!

So far so good!

I haven’t had any issues with the app yet, I’ve only had it for a day so I can’t say too much for that. Everything works as it should and is very useful, the equalizer is good, and be aware mode is a great feature! This app is definitely worth downloading for the earbuds!

I just got a new pair of Jlab go pop+ and boy does the app help with not only controls it tells you the controls and your able to change but you can do so much with just a single app I love it and I will definitely continue using the app with the earbuds

Good UI, just a lot of bugs

Once you spend the time to get past the confusion pairing process, you can use it with the app. Well, my guess is that’s if you were able to. Took me 10 minutes to even get it connected and that was because the app waits to find the signal. I wasn’t planning on giving up because I was interested in the personal EQ and other related features.

Functional, but lack essential features

I’ve had my JLab Go Air Pop for about a year now, but only just now found out there’s an app. I decided to go ahead and get it despite the 2.3 rating on the App Store and wasn’t expecting much. I got exactly what I expected. It works fine, and I do like certain features such as the ambient noise, a way to try on products through AR, and burn-in, that’s about all the notable features. It is perfectly functional and what it is advertised and I had no overall issues but will not be keeping this app until there are updates to it.

Bad touch controls

Everything worked so well u could choose to have the touch controls on or off after the new update they completely changed that now u don’t have the option to turn off touch controls they will be on without choice wich if u are trying to workout or run or even do something that involves any type of sweat the touch controls will mess ur whole workout by changing tracks constantly or just not playing at all would not recommend wasting space on this app since it’s main purpose of being installed is most likely to turn off touch controls wich u can’t even do anymore

I’m annoyed

What is even the point of this app? I had a pair of go air sports that I was able to customize the eq and touch controls using the app. I was even able to turn the controls on/off. This was great!
Unfortunately after two months those headphones ended up getting water damaged while biking in the rain and no longer work. So I went and spent another $30 on the same exact model of headphones and am now no longer able to adjust the controls within the app. I cannot turn off touch controls which can be really annoying and there is no longer a “be aware” feature.
Why are the same exact products lacking basic consistency? Is the app or manufacturer I don’t know, either way I am annoyed that I’ve now spent $60 to have one dysfunctional pair of headphones.
I honestly want a refund.

I really enjoy using these headphones, but there’s one major downside: the inability to reliably track them when they’re lost. I’ve tried several apps, including the one recommended, but none of them seem to work effectively. The inability to track my headphones is a significant issue for me, especially since I tend to misplace them often. While I’d consider buying another pair because I love the sound quality and comfort, the lack of a dependable tracking feature might eventually push me towards Apple products, which offer better tracking options. Improving the tracking capability would make these headphones almost perfect.

Pretty easy to use

Honestly don’t get the other reviews. I had a easy connection and was able to control my equalizer with little to no problems at all.

I was having troubles with them both syncing up and I got the information I needed to do a factory reset and it worked great! Also it was pretty easy to navigate. Glad my earbuds are working again!!

Works great

Just got new earbuds and got the app. I was able to change my settings to what I liked and wanted. Good to know that if I want something changed I can go to the app.

Fantastic app for epic air sport!

Being able to control the EQ EXACTLY, change which gestures do which actions, and I no wires with these is great! One bug has to do with some disconnects from the app while adjusting, but for an overall great product? I am positive they will fix it. Great job fixing the older bugs!!

Changing button functions doesn’t stick

I got the JLab Lux ANC over ear headphones. Updates the software for them via the app and set some custom controls for the power button.
They worked until I powered the headset off. Then they reset to default settings.

Great App

Very useful, as long as you have some of the more modern models. I se a lot of people on here crying about that. Anyways, it’s great to get the sound and commands that you want out of your buds. Recommend!

No update?

Hey! I have bought from this company a few times to buy the Go Air Pop earbuds. They are my favorite earbuds from JLab. I have owned the first pair for quite some time and the packaging included a brochure that advertises this specific app for additional customizations. There was NOTHING available for my earbuds.
Time skip to after the first pair finally gives out and I buy another pair, packaged the same, and is advertising the same app in the same brochure.
How is it that you can create new models, create support updates for those models, and not focus on updating all of your other models (maybe even INCLUDE what SHOULD be there)?
Shouldn't you just discontinue the model production if nothing has been or ever will be done with the models?

Issues connecting AIR ANC and no response from customer support

Tried connecting my earbuds and I didn't remember when I bought them but I didn't think it mattered and then had issues connecting my Air ANC gen 3 earbuds and had even emailed customer support with no response, I was so disappointed once I waited over a week with no response from customer support to where it's been a couple months before I decided to write this review just to say how disappointing and useless the app is

Barely any model options

I get this app and I'm super excited because I can finally customize my earbuds that finally started working again and I find out the model I have is not there. I don't even think it is coming out cause there is only two news ones coming out. (My model is GO air) Also my earbuds randomly stopped working one day and just started working again (for about a month now) but are more choppy. I don't really have hope in this. :(

Earbuds Aren’t Even Supported

I’m so absolutely astonished that this app doesn’t even have all of THEIR OWN BRAND OF EARBUDS SUPPORTED IN THEIR OWN APP. It’s been at least 9 months of my exact pair of earbuds not being supported on the app because I’ve found forums of other people upset they can’t use the app to adjust the earbud settings.
This is just sad and embarrassing you can’t give your customers the rounded experience you say you can provide.
