#1 painterly app
I've been extremely happy with this app and have been using it for as long as it's been available. The only painterly app I use.
My only suggestion would be the ability to customize and save the edits to be reused with one click But that will take the artistic creativity away for some.
One of my all time top 10's for iphoneography!

A favorite!
This is one of my favorite watercolor apps. Very easy to use, and the number of possible styles is huge (especially when you factor in the variations possible with adjustments). I own a number of Jixipix apps and I enjoy them all.

Artist's choice for watercolor
I have been using Aquarella for about a year now and find it is my go-to app for its watercolor effects. I am more of a dry brush, detail artist and find the multiple choices this app offers are at the top. From brush stroke detail, bloom, wash, and paper selection, Aquarella outperforms the rest.
I find most of this developer's apps top-notch and Aquarella is no exception!

Just what I'd hoped for!
I am a photographer and watercolorist. I do the first far better than the second, but now I can "paint" my photos to look just how I envision. THANK YOU! I do wish we could send to Flickr or other apps to put a watermark but oh well! Love it!

A good app to make your photos look like paintings. Some drawbacks, you can't crop and it takes a really long time to save because its saving hi res.

Amazing App
I love this app!!!!! I use it all the time, sometimes alone and sometimes with other apps. The developers put a lot of thought and quality into the design. I used it on my computer prior to getting an IPad, and I use it there now. Great job Jixipix developers.

Instant Go To Tool

I just got the announcement of this new app and has to download it immediately and try it.
As with other apps by JixPix, I wasn't
disappointed.
The flexibility of adjusting the various attributes of each style is what makes these apps so versatile.
My first test of a fall photo came out wonderful.
As long as JixPix makes apps, I will buy them.
