App broken Developer reached out still no results

I used to live this until it broke, I wrote to the developer months ago, I even purchased a new app to replace Invoice Manager.

The developer wants to know what is wrong. Well, first the app has not had an update in 6 years. It crashes when a change a date on the sales record. I try and write a new invoice it crashes.

I want to delete this app but afraid to lose my precious sales and tax data. Tax season is upon us and I can’t use the app to give me sales reports.

I don’t like buying apps because they are only as good as the developers of the apps.

App would crash sometimes and you would loose all your entry. Now with the apple new IOS it barely works and won’t allow you to print or share the invoice. Seems that who created does not care about the app anymore to make the necessary changes, it’s a shame.

Poor support

Tried to back up my data on my new iPhone 10x plus and iOS 12.2 but it just sits and spins on the authentication screen. I wrote customer support using the in-app support link and it’s been over 3 days and I have heard nothing back from them.

I use this app between my iPhone and iPad, but it is pretty much useless if I can’t sync between them. Sad :(

Crash

After over 4 years of fairly good service, this past weekend I tried several times to open the app and it never would open, just keep going back to home page. Tried to backup and it wouldn’t work... Ended up losing over 4 years of contacts and data. Then tried to email customer service and still no response from them either.

Stopped updating

This app was and is pretty good. I found it very useful and still do, but they stopped updating 2 years ago and don’t respond to emails. I’m going to have to switch after many years of using it because I don’t trust it to keep working and that the backups will work.

Paid data back up now denied

Apparently, icubemedia has discontinued the PAID back up feature. You are now only able for very sketchy iTunes back up. Repeated emails and help requests go unanswered.

After taking my money for the in-app purchase for the back up feature, they've basically cut off any communication

5-star reviews are BOGUS!

If you read the 5-star reviews, you’ll realize they’re all written by the app developers.

This app wouldn’t be worth the money if it were free.

The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it does create and send invoices. There is no option to receive payment nor mark the invoice as paid. Adding customers and items is very clunky. It’s very difficult to search for anything. Customer support is non-existent.

The only thing I use this for is to create a quick invoice on-site to email to a customer so I can collect payment on the spot. When I get home, I create an actual invoice in QuickBooks and delete the one in this app since I can’t do anything with it anyway.

I have found it to be simple and completely appropriate for my small start-up hobby/business. I can easily adapt unique items, services and documents with your app. It allows me to calculate and keep tabs on all that I produce, sell and distribute.

Stay clear!

The program started out great, and has steadily gone down hill. I contacted the developer 3 times to let them know I could no longer backup the database, and never received a reply! The cloud sync just stopped working! Had to get my iPhone battery replaced, and lost all my invoices! Terrible customer service!

I purchased this app in a bundle. However, I am unable to enter data beyond 3 entries because it's asking me to upgrade. I paid for an upgrade. I sent two messages to the developer and I've received no response. Very frustrating - I paid over $20 for the bundle with upgrades.

Beware

Be very careful. Invoice app worked excellent for awhile. I backed up every time I used it and restored to open. Then I tried to restore and deleted everything's no. All my invoices and estimates.. All my services and products pages of them. Past due invoices, current due invoices. Just pisst I lost everything. Maybe it's worth going with the voices online saved. Like intuite or joist estimate invoicing tools.

They refuse to fix the PayPal issue.

It's been months now and we have contacted the support team repeatedly about the PayPal issue. This ap can not take credit cards through PayPal at the moment and they have done absolutely nothing to fix the issue. All they say when contacting them is they are working on it. This is about the simplest function for any software to do is accept a credit card with PayPal. We are being forced to switch all of our iPads over to another software provider. I would not recommend this software to anyone as a result.

Not a fan, not working for my needs

Cannot get job done app keeps interrupting with Alerts telling me to save before moving on? Just for reviewing past invoice now stuck cannot move away to next task until I figure out how turn off useless Alerts.

Create duplicate invoice and now cannot edit. Cannot rotate to portrait in new layout app is acting like it know what's best instead of not letting use to do my job the way it works for my needs. Not a fan anymore unless this problem is corrected. Thank you.

Awesome Super App

I would have given it a 4 start but let's face all app has a bit of work as far as updates but nonetheless it's an AMAZING application for those who want something portable. Love it

As a freelancer, each month I had to spend at least a few days to sort things out. Invoice Manager automates everything so I no longer need multiple spreadsheets, user names, passwords, time-trackers or multiple apps I was using before. All the features I need are nicely put together on my Invoice Manager Dashboard. It's exactly what I needed. One user name. One platform. That's it! I love the fact that they have direct payment button, so you can immediately receive payment from your clients. It's pretty straightforward and user friendly. They make invoicing so easy, and frankly, that's a big plus.

Perfect app.

I use this app for my automotive repair business. It takes some figuring out playing around with and getting used to but is very easy and straight forward. I use this for my invoicing and it works wonderfully. I'm just starting up my business and this app has carried me by and will until I get a full system. But with this app I may not even need to. If you need to start getting your customers invoices right away and don't have access to a computer or don't have the systems in place this is the app for you and even if you do have all that still a great app and will help you a lot. Truly a life saver and has helped me build a profitable buisness.

It's fine

I got it because the superior iPhone app, invoice2go, got shiesty and suddenly decided to charge users unexpected fees, disabling all our business if we didn't suddenly drop $25+. It's not about money but principal.

This app is not as good as invoice2go, but it does everything you'd want. What would make it better?

1) Better design or better customization for design. Right now it looks like a design firm from a 1983 era 3rd world country run by grandmas did the template art. As a creative professional, having an ugly invoice is bad. I wish I knew how bad it was before buying this. The customization options are weak and some options are buggy or just don't work (invoice header, for example). I don't use ant of this app's art or templates. Invoice2go has clean colors, fonts, watermarks, etc.

2) Cleaner usability. It's not as intuitive as the very friendly Invoice2go.

If those two points were cleaned up, I can see this becoming the #1 invoice app in the world + I'd give it 5 stars. App makers: Invoice2Go has bad blood from their loyal customers, now is your chance to overtake them. Invest in dominating them now.

So many option you can take advantage with, time sheet, receipt tracker, currency converter... I have less to worry about, I became self employed a while, I can say without exaggeration, this app has a single handedly palliated all, and prevented any further, regarding how my financially interact with my clients. I really love this app. The one time fee is well worth it, compared to other apps which demand a monthly subscription.

I really admire this invoice!

The new feature that allows me to import my inventory is awesome, but it seems to me that Unicode, non alpha numeric has issue in a CSV file when been imported. Also as we are running homeware business in retail and wholesale levels, there are thousands of products to be managed, so the importing, updating inventory feature is very important to us as I already said. We hope we could always importing whole update inventory to your app periodically, which could replace/overwrite previous quantity/sales price/cost price. I found this couldn't be done at this moment, as explained on your FAQ, can't upload item with identical product names.

I can keep up with my essential task!

All my coworker using the same invoice manager every day, my business never been like this before thanks to this invoice manager I choose. Meanwhile, the user who just write ( crashes every time I open it ), it looks like you just get paid to write this review. Remember that you are not the only user who has this app. Anyway, let me move on to my own thought and express my experience, I love online of course but creating and editing invoice is extremely easy, the invoice templates are fantastic. Inventory tracker feature!

I bought this app for specific task and I didn't expected the twelve tools.

Of course I needed the creating feature, edit, email and print invoices, sales, receipts.

Believe it or not, small business, big business, regardless you need a professional template for sales products, consulting services and contract.

Since those two specific tool I was mention above you get access easily, you'll need to be able to have also feature like: sale reports, expense reports and sales tax reports.

Furthermore, it's awesome to get inventory tracker and barcode scanner. Matter of fact, there is more I can manage in one app.

Finally, this is the app I want:)

I was looking for something similar to quickbooks to help keep account of inventory, help calculate all the items with the option of adding taxes to them, and to be able to send receipts to customers as I am trying to sell some crafting items I am beginning to make, and this app fully serves my purpose even to the point if I really can get these crafts sold I could eventually create my own business ( and not to worry about how to add taxes to the sale, as the app does it all and even will email the receipt to the customer, awesome!

Finally!

Finally an app that accommodates more than 1 business, inventory, sales, customers, sales tax, & reports! I've been hunting for years now for something simple yet complex enough to track all of these items & this app is definitely on the right track. It does need tweaking but what app doesn't? So far every request for support has been met with a speedy & satisfying response. The developers seem eager to make improvements...I find that very encouraging. So far this app has really simplified my sales process because I finally have a place to quickly input sales right away with no chance of misplacing paper slips. I really liked this app at first, but as I use it over time I'm finding its eccentric habits annoying. For instance, if I want to know the total amount paid during a particular month, I find it easily on the bottom of the screen. If I want to know how much was paid for Invoice #2, I have to actually open the invoice to check. Once the invoice is paid, the only info available at a glance on the home page is that nothing is owed. Or, let's say I want to rename a category, well, I'm gnashing my teeth trying to figure that out. I emailed the developer, was warned in a pop-up that it might be 24 to 48 hours to hear back, and today, 4 days later, I'm still waiting. I have to rewrite the entire invoice if I need to edit the category name. There's more, but I'd better get back to rewriting my invoices so I will have the category names updated....

Top Notch Customer Service!

I recently purchased this app and loaded only a handful of my products in order to test it. I found that there was not an option for calculating tax onto the subtotal of product & shipping percent. I emailed support and received a response quickly. In order to fix the problem, a new calculation option will be added to the next update which will be submitted to Apple in a few days. I am hopeful that the update will be incorporated by the end of the month.
