Doesn’t work
After I downloaded the app, that’s as far as in could go. I guess the libraries in my area or state are not available.
Shouldn’t be on IOS to check out then, right?

Useless
I don’t see any way to use this for libraries in the USA. Is that correct? It’s only for UK libraries? If so, it’s useless.

Free books. What’s not to love 💕
My family loves the audiobooks. They are a lifesaver, or at least a sanity-saver, on long car rides.
I also get a lot of use from the ebooks. It’s easy to use and I don’t have to physically go to the library. Plus they’re FREE!

App ok. Weak content
Not a bad app technically, but not enough quality classics and too much modern filth.

Quirky and irritating
Inconveniently the app doesn't open a book one is reading at the page one has reached without havig to open the book again. The default font is always tiny and has to be reset for every new book instead of being able to set a default font size for the app. The app is terribly touchy and the screen keeps shifting between full screen and another screen which obscures the top and bottom of the page. Generally it’s just not as user friendly as Libby which is much better designed. But as it’s the only way to access North Yorkshire Libraries it’s a case of Hobson’s Choice.

Why is the even an option for Apple Watch
This was one of a select few apps that I could download on my Apple Watch. I have a few different library cards and none of those systems are on this app. It is useless for me. It shouldn’t be on the options for Apple Watch.

Can’t get in
Downloaded the app. Worked fine. I have no problems with getting the app on my phone. But, then you come to the predicament of “my library is not included nor anything in my county!” Literally a waist of time. Unless you live in a very large area with many people, I can almost confirm that you will have the same problem

I spend far too much time trying to find the last page I was on as this app fails to record it reliably.

BorrowBox is the best.
While firstly experiencing back issues and resultant back surgery, I would not have survived without BorrowBox. Easy to download both audio and ebooks, BorrowBox kept me sane.

Update wrecked it!
Borrow box was just updated and the bookmark no longer works. When I close the book and the mark comes down from the top of the screen it is supposed to reopen at that page but it no longer reopens where I last closed it and I have to remember and use the chapter arrows at the bottom and the page numbers to find my last stopping point. This is a critical “fail!”

Waste of time for small town
Apparently there isn’t a way to use this app without your library information. I live in a small town of 6k, therefore my library isn’t in the selection. Deleting the app after this review. I will just continue to use my library’s online service and the subscription service from Scribd. Toodles. Update: Customer Service quickly responded to my question. I didn’t get the answer I wanted, but it was the one I figured I’d get. This APP is only for members of libraries affiliated with Borrow Box. It’s a shame... due to this, it is nearly certain small towners won’t have the ‘privilege’ to use the app. I’d give it a 0 if there was one... as it serves no purpose for me... but only a waste of my time.

Volume problem
I love this app but when it connects to the Bluetooth in my car the volume goes down to zero. So the book is playing but I can’t hear it until I turn up volume on ph.

Horrible app
This is absolutely horrible
Ita almost impossible to actually read a book or listen to an audiobook because its reserved or on loan which makes absolutely no sense because i mean its online so there should be copys
I searched up about 20 books a few hours ago and only 1 of them was free and i just tried to read it but its now saying that i returned the book and now i have to wait until the fourth of October to read it
This is absolutely ridiculous

Frustrating
Even with the limited library the AudioBook feature is great.... except when listening to AudioBooks they just stop! Have to go back to the App and press the screen to start again.

Despite being in the American App Store this only shows libraries in the U.K. which is useless if you don’t live there.

I wish more Library's would be compatible because I can't even use this but O live in a small town so I can see why. I was really looking forward to using this!!!!!
